A lot of the people commenting on this video have clearly never studied makeup to any extent or they'd understand that most of the time, people actually want to look like the most beautiful, natural version of THEMSELVES on their wedding day rather than wearing an extreme look or transforming themselves with a ridiculous amount of makeup and contour. The makeup is timeless and something that Tati will look back on in the future and be happy with rather than something that looks awfully dated because the artist applied all the current makeup trends. i'm not a pro or anything but i guess it depends, if you have to take family pics and all that, you have to be ready kind of early and i guess you can get retouches if you need them but if you just get your make up done and go to the ceremony, just a couple of hours, however this kind of make up is supposed to be long wearing. I did my graduation make up 3 hours before the ceremony. It remained intact the whole day and night.
TheOwlBurrow my sister is getting married at noon or 1 and she's going to the salon with her bridesmaids at 8. They take pictures after the ceremony too with family. The dress is a surprise!
TheOwlBurrow I highly highly suggest doing a makeup test before the wedding. I did my best friend's makeup and she had an idea of what colours and how she wanted it so we tried it and it was way too harsh for a wedding day! we were so thankful we tried it before hand and got her families opinion on it because we went in such a different direction!
I got married in May of last year and my ceremony was at 4 pm. I started getting ready around 11:30/12:00ish. I had really long extensions which had to be curled and set, so we did that first which took about an hour. Then I had my makeup done which took about another hour maybe hour and a half....then actually styling my hair...then getting in the dress and what not. Allow MORE time than you think you'll need is my biggest advice, love! I had about 20 minutes where I was pretty much ready to go, and I had time to sit and collect myself. I HIGHLY recommend allowing at least 15 minutes for some alone time right before you head to the ceremony! Most of all. ENJOY IT. It will go by so so so so so freaking fast! And Congratulations!!!!!!! P.S. I did 3 hair and makeup trial runs before my wedding day! I recommend at least doing one!

A lot of the people commenting on this video have clearly never studied makeup to any extent or they'd understand that most of the time, people actually want to look like the most beautiful, natural version of THEMSELVES on their wedding day rather than wearing an extreme look or transforming themselves with a ridiculous amount of makeup and contour. The makeup is timeless and something that Tati will look back on in the future and be happy with rather than something that looks awfully dated because the artist applied all the current makeup trends. Most women have "bumps" like that because we have wombs. Reproductive organs take up space. Even so, it was really insensitive for people to make comments about it, especially with it being her wedding day. She looked absolutely beautiful.
Wombs are lower down, below the pelvis. We have bumps because we have intestines and we eat and it digests! Not disagreeing just correcting lol!

I love that it's so natural! We can always go over the top with our makeup, but a bridal makeup shouldn't look like you're going to the club or a concert heavy makeup.... the idea of natural, glowing is probably the best, imo. Personally I will always have a cat eye wing, but if I get married, I want only definition and natural

Congratulations! James is so adorable and talented. I'm getting married in September. How far ahead do you recommend doing your makeup before the ceremony?
i'm not a pro or anything but i guess it depends, if you have to take family pics and all that, you have to be ready kind of early and i guess you can get retouches if you need them but if you just get your make up done and go to the ceremony, just a couple of hours, however this kind of make up is supposed to be long wearing. I did my graduation make up 3 hours before the ceremony. It remained intact the whole day and night.
TheOwlBurrow my sister is getting married at noon or 1 and she's going to the salon with her bridesmaids at 8. They take pictures after the ceremony too with family. The dress is a surprise!
TheOwlBurrow I highly highly suggest doing a makeup test before the wedding. I did my best friend's makeup and she had an idea of what colours and how she wanted it so we tried it and it was way too harsh for a wedding day! we were so thankful we tried it before hand and got her families opinion on it because we went in such a different direction!
I got married in May of last year and my ceremony was at 4 pm. I started getting ready around 11:30/12:00ish. I had really long extensions which had to be curled and set, so we did that first which took about an hour. Then I had my makeup done which took about another hour maybe hour and a half....then actually styling my hair...then getting in the dress and what not.
Allow MORE time than you think you'll need is my biggest advice, love! I had about 20 minutes where I was pretty much ready to go, and I had time to sit and collect myself. I HIGHLY recommend allowing at least 15 minutes for some alone time right before you head to the ceremony!
Most of all. ENJOY IT. It will go by so so so so so freaking fast!

P.S. I did 3 hair and makeup trial runs before my wedding day! I recommend at least doing one!
