Thanks for posting your perspective! It's interesting to see how you handle emergencies or unexpected issues like the broken cymbal. A missing drummer is another story, though. 😂
As a fellow tech from the uk I love the video and the care and compassion you have in you craft and the love you give the profession bravo sir bravo your drummer is lucky to have you and god speed for the rest of the tour.
Really enjoyable Vlog again, had been wondering where you would be close by for these smaller venues in case of quick changes and got my answer 😊 good thing you are flexible🥨 The pre show rituals are fun to see, thanks for this lovely content.
That was so good vlog. The venue looks very cool, and Tank is always first in place (absolutely not surprised). The tunings process and setting drums are great. Fortunately, Mr International hasn't extremely huge drum kit, so all was set "fast". You're fantastic drum tech, and change of broken cymbal went smooth. Thank you for your work and this vlog. ❤

It was nice to hear more from you in this video. Very cool to have a better idea of what a drum tech does. I always love seeing backstage, it was one of my favorite parts of performing. Thanks for making this vlog!
Keep it going! :)
@@susa3468I will show head changes in a couple other vlogs also on the special Prep Day vlog for detailed information which will be released in march. So stay tuned :)
Was mich noch interessieren würde.

Its crazy to me how the weather can affect the tuning of the drums. Like if it was cooler that day would they be a bit higher pitched or if it is warmer would they be lower.
If you've tuned them the day before why would so much tuning be needed the day after? Does stuff happen in transport? Or do they get looser during the show?
@@ryanunwin9213 has many different reasons. First is they got played of course and Tom heads need 3-4 shows to stay in tune when they got freshly changed. Also transportation or temperature can be a reason.

It's funny because even though I was there, it's super awesome to see another crew person's POV of the same day. Haha

How many sets of drumheads would you use for like a standard tour? Let's say 20 club shows
@ryanunwin9213 depends on the artist. In David’s case I would say like 6-8 snare, 5-6 toms and 2-3 kick
