Getting Schooled: Where Should Black Parents Enroll Their Kids For An Education?

By many people's account, public schools are failing children. But, there is BIG disagreement on what the solution is. Some people believe parents should decide where their kids should attend school. They think that if the public school isn’t any good, they should be able to choose somewhere else. Others think neighborhood schools in close vicinity to their residences' should be where kids go.
If all of the “good” students choose to go elsewhere, will neighborhood schools wither and die - or become even bigger havens for neglect and leaving poor Black children with no options? Or will it push public schools to “get it together"? "REVOLT Black News Weekly" will dig into this very controversial topic.
