- Kaidence Stephenson got sick when she was just a baby. Her and her family's lives changed quickly as Kaidence's heart began to fail. See how Kaidence's other family up at Primary Children's Medical Center, a Children's Miracle Network Hospital, prolonged her life. A last minute gift came that would save Kaidence's life.
September 14th 2017... I was on my death bed in the hospital jaundice and so weak I could barely breath.. The doctor came in for what I thought was their normal rounds but she came in and said.. "We just got a kidney and Liver in thats almost a perfect match for you!" My life was saved that day, and I will forever be grateful to the family that decided to donate the gift of life

Man that's so great my son under a heart transplant four yes ago at the age 4 he past two yrs later its so hard to lesson to our story its reminds me of me the phone call sayn the heart is cumn a great feeling and hard I'm thank full for children's they gave me sumthn so wonderful for 6 years never forget zayden kalil hill live or live to fullest baby 😘

I'm so very happy for your family! I lost my daughter Chelsea to a rare genetic disease called lafora disease it's epilepsy but a genetic rare form that only 200 kids worldwide have there's no cure and it's deadly Chelsea was a normal healthy vibrant child growing up until age 14 when our nightmare happened we lived at Boston children's hospital and Maine medical center until she passed away at age 18 the 4 yes she had this disease she lost all abilities to walk,talk,sit,eat, swallow, basically she was a vegetated state from all of the seizures her story is on RUclips I hope you watch it but I want you to know that we donated her eyes ,skin graph,some bones,her breast tissue for burn victims,a child who is losing sight,breast cancer survivor needing reconstructive surgery so our daughter lives on.....I'm so happy you guys still have your daughter IDW any parent to go through what my husband and I went through and still go through almost 3 yrs later after she passed away

This is a heart warming story, no pun intended. I sincerely hope Kaidence is growing & thriving w/her new heart. I know that sometimes a flu can affect the heart muscles & I'm wondering if that's what happened here. Live long & strong & healthy Kaidence, u r a miracle child. Impossibly adorable & cute also! :)

Why am I crying? She so tiny. She's so young to have gone through this. It's sad to see any child go through a hard time at a young age. God bless that she made it through and is healthy as of today. 😭

she has a bright future ahead of her. And for many many years will be well. I Lost 3 siblings I'm 12 and I would just like to say thank you for taking good care of the beautiful baby girl.
My friend had this. I don't know if it was the same thing because it happened when She was 11 but her heart swelled up and the walls of it were too thick and it was interfering with her lungs.
She went under cardiac arrest and scared the living daylights out of us. She is alive, but she doesn't remember any of us.
I miss her so much xxx

Thank God she survived that major catastrophe I’m just grateful that they found a donor heart in time. Giving your own organs to someone else to help Save their life is the most generous and selfless thing to do.
aww! im so happy for your family that she got a second chance at life! my husbands uncle was dearly loved by myself and his entire family. he suddenly died and was an organ donor. while we miss him terribly its wonderful to know that other families have their loved ones because of him. God bless your family!
