Yeah it better to buy if you can like you said there’s even payment plans I got FL Studio on a payment plan just to see if I like it. I could’ve bought it straight out, but I didn’t know if I was gonna like it or not but then I found out you have lifetime upgrades, and it comes out the box ready to go. You can’t beat that. I still can’t wrap my head around the workflow, but I’m glad I bought it. My nephew loves it.

I’ll been installing cracked fl since Fl studio 7. I told myself whenever I made enough money, I’ll pay for it. Well I stopped using fl studio when 11 came out and I haven’t really been back to it. But I kept my word and went and bought the producer bundle last month and I still don’t use it lol

Now I definitely can't recommend anyone to pirate FL studio or any plugins, but technically, it isn't theft. Actually, it's copyright infringement, which is legally quite different. Downloading some bits online can't be theft because you aren't stealing anything, your just making a copy and no one is technically losing anything. Also the ine infringing the copyright is the one who's sharing the unauthorized copy, not the one receiving (downloading) it. Or at least that's how it goes legally in most places. But yeah image line is quite an awesome company, FL is priced reasonably enough and has lifetime free updates too, so I'd definitely recommend just buying it.
I get what you are saying, but respectfully speaking, would it really be the same as "taking" that copy because you did not obtain permission or a license if you were to replicate someone else's work and sell it? Should that be the case, then both of those situations would be considered theft. Not only is it theft, but there are bots and other musicians/producers that are selling cracked plugins and software online. They are making money off the labor of others who put a lot of effort into those products; more than likely, they will lose money from illegal downloads rather than receiving payment for legitimate sales. @@jaunti No, still not theft, but it definitely IS copyright infringement. Still, goes without saying that selling or asking money for pirated software/content is definitely scummy and bad. In that case it's not only the company suffering from it, but also the customer got scammed out of their money as they likely unknowingly paid for a cracked copy instead of a legit one. That's also the very reason downloading a cracked copy isn't illegal, as the one downloading it could be a victim of a scam themselves. I'm just saying this because theft and copyright infringement are not the same level of crime and they don't do the same amount of damage. If you steal 1000 brand new cars from a car manufacturer, the manufacturer not only lost the sales on those cars, they also lost the cars and all the money that went into manufacturing them. If 1000 people download an illegal copy of a piece of software, the company doesn't directly lose anything they had to invest money into. Yes, they don't get money from it, but they also don't lose anything. They can still continue selling the software as usual, while the car manufacturer might need some time to restock on the cars, potentially losing more sales while waiting. Also, while the 1000 pirates could have been potential customers, likely some of them wouldn't have ended up buying the legit copy even if the cracked one didn't exist, and some of them may also end up liking the software so much that they buy a legit copy in the end. It's really hard to say how much of those illegally downloaded copies would translate to lost sales. Meanwhile the car manufacturer definitely lost 100% of those 1000 sales, together with the money that went into manufacturing the cars.

It's not quite the same as actually trying the demo. The purpose of the demo is to allow users to test the software for free and decide whether or not to purchase it. Using it for work-related purposes or just to see if you enjoy it is another way to justify the reason for cracking it for the full version, whereas the demo version comes with limitations.
I respect your integrity. However, in my (third world) country, it is almost unavoidable to find upcoming producers using the authentic bought versions of any software.
I started on the first version of fl demo and I was so impressed I went and paid for it like 2weeks later. I still have fl studio 10 cd disc. I prob paid for the box set 3 different times over the years.
Rather than having to pay the entire amount up front, you can make biweekly or monthly payments if you have credit or if you register with a payment processing service.

Exactly. I have consistently mentioned God in my videos, but I faced backlash when I claimed to be following God's instructions to justify my wrongdoings with cracked software. In order to avoid living dishonestly to my own craft, I made the decision to earn and purchase every plugin I had cracked rather than stealing. I didn't even know that, to be honest with you. I recall reading years ago that even Avicii used a cracked version of Nexus 2 before he died. I'm not sure if you know who that is but he was a very big DJ and EDM producer.

When I got it down packed and to my perfection, I went ahead and bought my fl 12 when it came out. I think one should learn in the crack BEFORE starting to house fl studio in your music business. I was wrong for it at the beginning, but I learned from the wrong way and made it right..
This is also a form of Monkey-see Monkey-Do. There are many free DAWs out there. DAWs that are used for dozens of musical styles more complicated than rap and hip-hop. Yet these idiots keep going after FL because the industry and genre is convinced that's what people are supposed to use. And it's not only rap, lots of electronica and techno fans feel they *have* to use FL studio when they dont.

Out of all the daws to crack I think FL is the least deserving one, they are one of the fews that allow you to do a one time purchase and you own your license forever without the need for a subscription and the updates are always free, it is worth saving and buying it tbh.
While this is no excuse to steal software, this is also a fault of the modern aggressive marketing of these companies, paying influencers to push their products (not only in the music industry). I was also in the youtube review game quite a while and I know how the industy works. But this results in young people thinking they can't do good music without certain software. There should be more people promoting free plugins and showing a legal way of making music. stock and free plugins as well as entry level daws is all people need to get started.
I see your point. I do video reviews as well and I give my honest opinions about them. Regarding free plugins, I make those kinds of videos whenever I get the chance. That kind of vibe is given off by a number of businesses, leading the public to believe that certain software applications or plugins are necessary in order to produce music, even though that is patently untrue. Certain plugins are almost capable of producing music for you. I have a client who still, to this day, records his music with a mixer alone; he doesn't even use a DAW.

The big producers are at fault if they use material that has been illegally obtained for their work. Maybe you'll understand how the game works if you listen to producers who actually care.
I agree with you 100 percent; in my opinion, it's never a good idea to run crack software on your system. I pay for all the software that I have running on my computer. It's painful, and I've invested thousands of dollars over the years. It took me decades to get all the stuff I have. The legal system sides with the software developers not the hackers.

It comes down to this moral: If you plan on making money with your music, it’s only right to spend money on your software. For a kid starting out, cracked software sounds attractive but it’s morally right to buy your tools. This applies to any industry. I started at 16 in the early 2000s with hardware keyboards, mixer/recorder and samplers from pawn shops and the PennySaver, so there was no “cracked” for those lol. Had to slowly save and buy one piece at a time with the oddest jobs. If I could do it then, these kids can do the same for software these days. Cant beat the satisfaction of knowing you worked for your gear and owning it.
Kids can also research free alternatives to start off with. That’s what I do for video editing. I use Davinci Resolve instead of Adobe Premiere Pro. Blender instead of Maya for 3d work.

Yes, but with the cracked version, people only seem to care that they can use most of FL Studio's beat-making features. Rather than paying money to purchase it, they would prefer to steal it and profit from it. That makes no sense.
I would expect a 15 year old who was raised properly to hustle up some money for a deeply discounted student version of a DAW or get the free on that comes with a controller like Ableton Live lite or MPC Beats. Heck, all you need is an email address to get MPC Beats. Or I would at the bare minimum they realize he just scored FL Studio for free and keep his mouth shut.

The most well know Crack guy is Curtiss King, got cought by Imageline using his cracked FL Studio in 100s of video's and He had to do a public apology. He should of get a lawsuit against him for that especially the fact that He had the money to pay. Curtiss King is one of the first FL Studio producers I was watching when I started making beats. I learned how to export videos from FL with ZGameEditor Visualizer from him, and that’s essential if you want to put your beats on RUclips. Of course it’s not right, but it was still mutual benefit. There are thousands of people with no name or following that use cracked FL that can’t even bring value or attention to the company. That’s more of a loss.

FL Studio is quite reasonably priced, in my opinion. I updated my Pro Tools for roughly $350. I paid it off in five months. As long as you make your payments on time, you’ll have nothing to worry about.

If FL studio was smarter, they would just release FL studio 11 for free. That would get so many new users to possibly cross over from their existing DAW. And once established they would easily pay for the latest version
For those who had already purchased an earlier version, FL Studio 11 was already free. Back in 2017, I bought FL Studio 21 (Producer Edition), paid it off in three to four months, and now I have the newest version of FL Studio 24 for free. No matter what version you purchase, their future updates will be free for life.

ImageLine's FL Studio has been the same price since I can remember. You can even get a discount at certain retailers. I bought ALL my software. Own the licenses. Now Propeller Heads Reason has went up in price since I bought Reason 4 for 399$ with a discount from Prosound and Stage Lighting.

A lot of the produces these days are just bedroom producers. Most of us will never make it big. Who cares about cracked plug-ins? Having cracked plug-ins and software does not make you a better producer

The issue is that you are overanalyzing what I said in my video. I repented, confessed my sins, and was baptized again. We can be saved by Christ when we confess our sins, pray, and turn from our sins. But we have to remain that way. If I did not publicly acknowledge my mistakes, I would not be so sincere about my faith. You are being overly critical by assuming that I did not buy everything that I had cracked or deleting all of the cracked plugins. You misunderstood what I said. I said I removed the cracked plugins from my computer so I could purchase them. No offense but you do not know me. Yeah it better to buy if you can like you said there’s even payment plans I got FL Studio on a payment plan just to see if I like it. I could’ve bought it straight out, but I didn’t know if I was gonna like it or not but then I found out you have lifetime upgrades, and it comes out the box ready to go. You can’t beat that. I still can’t wrap my head around the workflow, but I’m glad I bought it. My nephew loves it.

I’ll been installing cracked fl since Fl studio 7. I told myself whenever I made enough money, I’ll pay for it. Well I stopped using fl studio when 11 came out and I haven’t really been back to it. But I kept my word and went and bought the producer bundle last month and I still don’t use it lol

Now I definitely can't recommend anyone to pirate FL studio or any plugins, but technically, it isn't theft. Actually, it's copyright infringement, which is legally quite different. Downloading some bits online can't be theft because you aren't stealing anything, your just making a copy and no one is technically losing anything. Also the ine infringing the copyright is the one who's sharing the unauthorized copy, not the one receiving (downloading) it. Or at least that's how it goes legally in most places.
But yeah image line is quite an awesome company, FL is priced reasonably enough and has lifetime free updates too, so I'd definitely recommend just buying it.
I get what you are saying, but respectfully speaking, would it really be the same as "taking" that copy because you did not obtain permission or a license if you were to replicate someone else's work and sell it? Should that be the case, then both of those situations would be considered theft. Not only is it theft, but there are bots and other musicians/producers that are selling cracked plugins and software online. They are making money off the labor of others who put a lot of effort into those products; more than likely, they will lose money from illegal downloads rather than receiving payment for legitimate sales. Would it not be considered theft if I were to pirate or download a cracked version of any software and then sell it to another person?
@@jaunti No, still not theft, but it definitely IS copyright infringement. Still, goes without saying that selling or asking money for pirated software/content is definitely scummy and bad. In that case it's not only the company suffering from it, but also the customer got scammed out of their money as they likely unknowingly paid for a cracked copy instead of a legit one. That's also the very reason downloading a cracked copy isn't illegal, as the one downloading it could be a victim of a scam themselves.
I'm just saying this because theft and copyright infringement are not the same level of crime and they don't do the same amount of damage. If you steal 1000 brand new cars from a car manufacturer, the manufacturer not only lost the sales on those cars, they also lost the cars and all the money that went into manufacturing them. If 1000 people download an illegal copy of a piece of software, the company doesn't directly lose anything they had to invest money into. Yes, they don't get money from it, but they also don't lose anything. They can still continue selling the software as usual, while the car manufacturer might need some time to restock on the cars, potentially losing more sales while waiting. Also, while the 1000 pirates could have been potential customers, likely some of them wouldn't have ended up buying the legit copy even if the cracked one didn't exist, and some of them may also end up liking the software so much that they buy a legit copy in the end. It's really hard to say how much of those illegally downloaded copies would translate to lost sales. Meanwhile the car manufacturer definitely lost 100% of those 1000 sales, together with the money that went into manufacturing the cars.

It's not quite the same as actually trying the demo. The purpose of the demo is to allow users to test the software for free and decide whether or not to purchase it. Using it for work-related purposes or just to see if you enjoy it is another way to justify the reason for cracking it for the full version, whereas the demo version comes with limitations.

Exactly. I have consistently mentioned God in my videos, but I faced backlash when I claimed to be following God's instructions to justify my wrongdoings with cracked software. In order to avoid living dishonestly to my own craft, I made the decision to earn and purchase every plugin I had cracked rather than stealing. No lie. I started off with a crack back when fl3 came out. I wanted to learn things about fruity loops. As the newer versions came out, I was still on fl3 learning the tactics. When I got it down packed and to my perfection, I went ahead and bought my fl 12 when it came out. I think one should learn in the crack BEFORE starting to house fl studio in your music business. I was wrong for it at the beginning, but I learned from the wrong way and made it right..
This is also a form of Monkey-see Monkey-Do. There are many free DAWs out there. DAWs that are used for dozens of musical styles more complicated than rap and hip-hop. Yet these idiots keep going after FL because the industry and genre is convinced that's what people are supposed to use. Out of all the daws to crack I think FL is the least deserving one, they are one of the fews that allow you to do a one time purchase and you own your license forever without the need for a subscription and the updates are always free, it is worth saving and buying it tbh.

While this is no excuse to steal software, this is also a fault of the modern aggressive marketing of these companies, paying influencers to push their products (not only in the music industry). I was also in the youtube review game quite a while and I know how the industy works. But this results in young people thinking they can't do good music without certain software. There should be more people promoting free plugins and showing a legal way of making music. stock and free plugins as well as entry level daws is all people need to get started.
I see your point. I do video reviews as well and I give my honest opinions about them. Regarding free plugins, I make those kinds of videos whenever I get the chance. That kind of vibe is given off by a number of businesses, leading the public to believe that certain software applications or plugins are necessary in order to produce music, even though that is patently untrue. Certain plugins are almost capable of producing music for you. I have a client who still, to this day, records his music with a mixer alone; he doesn't even use a DAW.

It comes down to this moral: If you plan on making money with your music, it’s only right to spend money on your software. For a kid starting out, cracked software sounds attractive but it’s morally right to buy your tools. This applies to any industry.
I started at 16 in the early 2000s with hardware keyboards, mixer/recorder and samplers from pawn shops and the PennySaver, so there was no “cracked” for those lol. Had to slowly save and buy one piece at a time with the oddest jobs. If I could do it then, these kids can do the same for software these days. Cant beat the satisfaction of knowing you worked for your gear and owning it.

Kids can also research free alternatives to start off with. That’s what I do for video editing. I use Davinci Resolve instead of Adobe Premiere Pro. Blender instead of Maya for 3d work.

Curtiss King is one of the first FL Studio producers I was watching when I started making beats. I learned how to export videos from FL with ZGameEditor Visualizer from him, and that’s essential if you want to put your beats on RUclips.
Of course it’s not right, but it was still mutual benefit. There are thousands of people with no name or following that use cracked FL that can’t even bring value or attention to the company. That’s more of a loss.

If all corporations, companies, and so on allowed “poor” people to take whatever they needed, everyone (low-, middle-, and upper-class) would follow suit. It's not even necessary to give up half of your income. You can save more money than what you are paying for if you have good credit or an account with these payment processing services. I was given two years to pay it off when I switched from Pro Tools 11 to Studio, and I did so in five months. Done deal.

FL Studio is quite reasonably priced, in my opinion. I updated my Pro Tools for roughly $350. I paid it off in five months. As long as you make your payments on time, you’ll have nothing to worry about.

That would get so many new users to possibly cross over from their existing DAW. And once established they would easily pay for the latest version
For those who had already purchased an earlier version, FL Studio 11 was already free. Back in 2017, I bought FL Studio 21 (Producer Edition), paid it off in three to four months, and now I have the newest version of FL Studio 24 for free. No matter what version you purchase, their future updates will be free for life.

If the guy is out in the open and promoting it himself, then all eyes will be on him because he is the one supporting it. He made the unwise decision to make it publically known, so that is why it is his problem. So, for anyone who doesn't want the same to happen to them, I'm saying don't do it because it's morally wrong and illegal. As I mentioned in my video, I know I can't stop anyone from doing anything, but whatever anyone decides to do, just be ready for whatever comes next.

Easy software to crack...still cracked versions available online unfortunately. Pirating is what led imagine-line to offer lifetime free updates to their customers. Buy once and the user is good for lifetime.

ImageLine's FL Studio has been the same price since I can remember. You can even get a discount at certain retailers. I bought ALL my software. Own the licenses. Now Propeller Heads Reason has went up in price since I bought Reason 4 for 399$ with a discount from Prosound and Stage Lighting.

It appears that this is also a concern for you. You probably have no idea what goes on with the cracked versions if you were using a paid version for such a long time. All over Instagram, Facebook, eBay, and other platforms, random people (likely bots) are making a lot of effort to sell cracked software (like FL Studio, Reason, Studio One, etc.). My opinion on what transpired between that child and Image Line is all I am getting into here and how I feel about cracked software, nothing more. What good is it to comment at all if you don't like what I have to say? 😂

A lot of the produces these days are just bedroom producers. Most of us will never make it big. Who cares about cracked plug-ins? Having cracked plug-ins and software does not make you a better producer

Lmao I don’t even use FL but I downloaded it from that kids tweet just to have it. and then my brother messaged me saying I could just use his license so I didn’t need the crack but I didn’t uninstall it before I logged in and then my brother got an email from image line saying to delete the cracked version.
I have no problem paying for stuff I use and I wouldn’t spread a download link around like that kid did but I’m not really losing sleep over downloading it.

You are sanctimonius. You said you deleted those stolen plug ins and started to purchase the ones you use. Yet, you stopped short of saying you made amends to those companies you ripped off ny paying for all those plugins (I suspect you didn't purchase all the ones you deleted) twice or meeting the demands of companies you took advantage of; so dragging Christ into it is more a way for you to glory in your own righteousness rather than Christ's. Many think it is vain to vote for the lesser of two evils, but given any two given people there always is the lesser of two evils because people are inherently evil. The issue is that you are overanalyzing what I said in my video. I repented, confessed my sins, and was baptized again. We can be saved by Christ when we confess our sins, pray, and turn from our sins. But we have to remain that way. If I did not publicly acknowledge my mistakes, I would not be so sincere about my faith. You are being overly critical by assuming that I did not buy everything that I had cracked or deleting all of the cracked plugins. You misunderstood what I said. I said I removed the cracked plugins from my computer so I could purchase them. No offense but you do not know me. The problem with this world is that we have a tendency to judge people so harshly that we think we know more about them than they do. My only concern is living a good, moral life, and getting closer to Jesus is my main goal. I have a relationship with the companies whom I bought my plugins from (including the cracked ones I had), which allows them to see my video about my experiences with cracked plugins. If you have a different opinion of me, that is your problem.
