One of my absolute favorite watches. After owning it for a few years I still keep coming back to it. The strap does start very stiff. But with time it turned into one of the best leather straps I own. Great to see this one featured on the channel. I think I’ve been the only one to feature it until now.
I've had this watch for about a year and, for my personal taste, it's the ultimate aviator watch. For me, the case is the ideal size for an aviator (43mm); the watch is very well finished in every detail; the movement is very precise (+- 1s/day) and the power reserve is sensational; the sapphire sandwich; the blue color on the dial is beautiful and matches the color of the bracelet; the lumen of the watch is excellent; the turbine highlights the watch and makes it unique; and I love the fact that the movement is noisy, it matches the proposal of having the turbine on the dial. I don't even feel the need to have another pilot.
I purchased this about 9 months ago based on Watching James raving about it. It has a “WOW” factor that is hard to put into words but shows when it is on your wrist. Definitely one of my favourites and I own quite a few. I don’t see this leaving my collection which is not something I say very often.
My absolute favourite watch. That dark blue sunburst dial and all the light dancing off the indices, chrome hands, bezel, and ring around the turbine, under that perfect, distortion free sapphire crystal, makes it the most dazzling watch I own. I simply love it. Anytime I'm not wearing it, I look down at my wrist, and wish I were.
I purchased this watch after your review. It is a very nice watch and my first hand winding and I like it. It has received several comments from lookers. I like!
You’ve done it again! I said I wasn’t going to watch your channel anymore because I always end up putting that watch in my basket. I just watched this video and guess what? Yup, I added it to my basket! You could sell ice to Eskimos!
Got this watch last week and love it. It has to be seen in person to fully appreciate it. BTW I got just over 58 hours of power reserve from fully wound...amazing.
I’ve had mine for a few months. It hasn’t disappointed. It wears well on my 6.5 wrist and I really enjoy it. Unfortunately the movement isn’t 100 percent reliable. It will occasionally stop when fully wound. I suspect I just got unlucky. I’ve worked out how many winds I need for 80% power and that’s plenty for more than 24 hours so it’s fine. It’s a lovely watch and particularly nice when you want to wear something casual that’s different and noticeable without being too crazy.
Great review I have had my eye on this watch for sometime and after seeing your excellent review I have just bought it on the aliexpress black Friday sale for £112 can't wait to get it.Keep up the good work with your reviews. 👍👍👍👍👍
If HRUODLAND is listening, please make a V2 with 44mm case, lume instead of the red dot on the propeller, fully brushed case, then I will buy this in a jiffy.
Thankyou my friend after seeing your review i actioned a order with ali and omg what a beautiful piece of time keeping on my wrist. . Stunning ❤ amazing value and so happy its available to everyone. . Ps love your reviews .keep it up. Lots of support from Oz Down Under. Oi Oi Oi😊
I used to have the Seagull ST3621 movement. Apparently they swapped it out for the generic one that's in the vid. Still looks pretty nice. Also the caseback bezel used to have engraving "Hruodland Sapphire Crystal."
I went a different direction, I watched the video from Watching James. I then went to get this watch BUT ended up with the Hruodland F013 PT5000 instead. Both are very beautiful…
I think I just fell in love! LOOK at that regulator lever for the balance wheel! This is soooo easy to regulate to COSC I think I need to look for more ST36 watches RIGHT NOW!!!
Non branded version is available for those who prefer. But as a black colour branded version owner myself, I personally think that having the branding in the top half of the dial provides a good content balance to the turbine in the bottom half of the dial.
No brand on my blue dial. At first I thought it was too plain and I was so-so about it, but it slowly took over my soul and now I've named it Christine. 😂😂😂 I don't want to wear any other watch I have. It is simply gorgeous, and I am certain the branded version would have taken me just the same.

I don't see myself selling it on either! 🙂
I still love this watch and it remains one of my favorites in my collection
Watching James channel has sung this one's praises for a while now. It does look very good.
It is definitely an easy watch to like! 🙂
I continue to believe it is amazing

I've had mine for about a year now and it's great! No problems at all.
Great to hear! I'm keeping mine too! 🙂👍
I have it… it’s impressive, looks great on the original strap.
The turbine is better/more detailed than the original
It is surprisingly good! 👍
You’ve done it again! I said I wasn’t going to watch your channel anymore because I always end up putting that watch in my basket. I just watched this video and guess what? Yup, I added it to my basket! You could sell ice to Eskimos!
You are too kind! 😁👍
Fantastic video! Thank you for this
Thanks for the review. Just purchased it in the June sales. Can't wait to get hold of it! Looks amazing.
Saw this on WatchingJames and was looking for another review. Very well done and complete. New sub. 👍
@lyndonlouie4108 Welcome aboard!
I agree. It has … something like more “watch gravity” than most of my other pieces. I truly love it, and it gets a lot of wrist time.
Thank you for sharing! 🙂👍
Wherever I'm wearing any of my other watches, all I do is wish I were wearing my Hruodland. I love it so much.

Hi. I just received my Hruodland flieger a few days ago. Please do you mind me asking how many winds it takes to get it to 80%?
Ordered. 130 bucks with codes. Amazing watch and nice job with your revise.
Great review I have had my eye on this watch for sometime and after seeing your excellent review I have just bought it on the aliexpress black Friday sale for £112 can't wait to get it.Keep up the good work with your reviews. 👍👍👍👍👍

I ordered one of these during the recent Ali sale...looking forward to wearing it...
Great review. Just ordered!
I think I might just have to get this. Yes it's big , but it's a beauty. Great review my friend 🤗😺
🙂
Excellent video review. This is a very interesting watch it might be my next purchase.
Had my eye on this for ages definitely going for it in this upcoming sale .
🙂👍
Ordered. Seems to be a range of prices though. Fingers crossed.
Wish they make a small version of this 🙏
What a timepiece... stunning!
Thanks Wes! 😁👍

Great review, awesome watch!!
Thank you for watching! 😁👍
I have this watch with blue sunburst sterile dial. Great watch.
I have a few watches with the ST3620 and all of then are +-1 second per day accurately.
I have just got it, it's a wonderful watch, one of my favorite, thanks for your review...
🙂👍
Great review! I have been looking at this watch for some time and I'm going to buy it , its just to good to pass up 👍🍸
this watch has been doing well with reviewers. I just saw it on ali today the turbine wheel looks like a gimmick but it also looks interesting :)
awesome watch! i love mine.. :)
the edge of the crown is sharp so i lightly sanded mine with sand paper.
Hmn... no sharp edges on mine 🤔 maybe a revised version 😁👍 Thank you for watching! 🙂
@@ShinyThings i wear my watches loose bc i crushed my wrist twice
Wow, Sorry to hear that! 😯 Wrist is a very delicate area to heal! 😶
fantastic watch. One way to make it even better would be to lume some or all of the turbine blades. The lume on the watch is great
And a nice watch for your first DIY service, after a short training.
I used to have the Seagull ST3621 movement. Apparently they swapped it out for the generic one that's in the vid. Still looks pretty nice. Also the caseback bezel used to have engraving "Hruodland Sapphire Crystal."
The IWC BIG PILOT’S WATCH 43 TOURBILLON MARKUS BÜHLER in platinum is the original version and is one of the most amazing watches ever.
Thank you for informing me, I enjoyed watching it.
Thank you for watching! 🙂👍
Thank you for the video. I bought one after seeing the watch. Now the question in my mind is how far do you recommend we turn the crown :)))
I went a different direction, I watched the video from Watching James. I then went to get this watch BUT ended up with the Hruodland F013 PT5000 instead. Both are very beautiful…
Nice watch! Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
Update, i bought this based on your review, $118, i mean, how can you not at that price? Ty, great review.
Wow, I like it, I like it a lot … great review
Thanks for watching! 🙂👍
Wow! That’s a lot of watch for the $!
Definitely! 😁 Thank you for watching! 🙂👍
I think I just fell in love! LOOK at that regulator lever for the balance wheel! This is soooo easy to regulate to COSC
I think I need to look for more ST36 watches RIGHT NOW!!!
🙂
I want/love this watch so fuggennnn muuuuuch😫😫 tiny wrists tho. Might get it anyway,i just adore it.
😁👍
I hope they make it in 40mm
I would like to buy this watch but unfortunately it appears to be manual hand winding only and no automatic movement 😞🤔. Can someone please advise me
i can't find a single listing on ali for this watch that has the same movement (aesthetics) as this one :(
I received one today with the same movement
Good looking flieger....could do without the branding. Do wish it was 100m WR as well.

It is simply gorgeous, and I am certain the branded version would have taken me just the same.
The OG is from 2 runs totalling less than 70 pieces so it's not like anyone will know it's an homage.
Fair point 🤔 🙂👍
I can't get past thinking the turbine is just gimmicky looking. But, to each his own.
Thank you for sharing! 🙂
It's glorious!
The IWC BIG PILOT’S WATCH 43 TOURBILLON MARKUS BÜHLER IN PLATINUM IS THE ORIGINAL WATCH. The watch in this video is not the same
Well darn it another watch sized out of my range. Aahhh the struggles of the skinny wrist gang.
Lol 🙂
Gang gang. I know the pain
The line text "Custom" is so unnecessary. Overall a very nice watch
🙂👍 Thanks for watching!
It's available with a sterile dial.
Too bad there no lume on the seconds hand.
Agree a lumed dot on the turbine would be nice 🙂👍
Awesome watch 👍👍👍
It really is! 🙂👍
nice but big.
Wears well though. Thank you for watching! 🙂👍
Love the design but not the brand!😳😲🙄
Hruonland did a very decent job here though, to say the least 🙂 Thank you for sharing! 🙂👍
Strange name for a company.
Maybe 🤔 Thank you for watching! 🙂👍
Medieval spelling of the name "Roland".
Fay Village
The name though 😒😔👎👎👎👎
I believe it comes in a sterile dial as well
