I suffer this same disease, ibm, as Frampton. He has done a lot of work and support for the research to cure this disease. I thank him and wish him all the best.
Frampton has been consistently rocking out to a high standard for 50+ years... absolute legend. Framtpon Comes Alive will always be a hallmark record in the history of rock guitar. Great job CGS and John 👏👏
I worked most of my life with a birth-defect disability! now at 64 all the hard labor has caught up to me! I feel for anyone who has to suffer! not fun!! thanks Mike!
That’s sad 😞 I’m glad he’s able to play for a final farewell tour though. He seems like a really nice guy in the interviews that I’ve seen. Great video bro ❤
I saw him in Concord CA last show of last tour...saw him in Oakland when I was 15. Closed my eyes at the last show, he was actually better I love this guy. Legend
1st saw him in 78?he jumped and ran the whole time,he pushed drummer out of way,and did the drum solo,to do u feel like we do,song lasted over 30 mins, just unreal!hell of a ride!!!
Hey Mike.. missed this while at work. Watching now! Glad I got to see Frampton a couple times pre-Covid... once opening for STYX and again on a double bill... can't remember with whom! He was unforgettable, of course. You Rock brother! 🤘🎸😎❤️
Hi Mike! I didn't know you were sick and I don't know how to handle it, it really hits me hard to hear that you are sick. I am sending you all my positive thoughts. Sending you the best of love, it's all I can! Best always Kim❤
So sorry to hear! I had no idea! I am so sad for him. I'm in my fifties and radial nerve has given out. Docs are stumped. Woke up with it. Can no longer play a lick. Crushing.
Wow! Bad news. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't play. He is a very nice person. I toured in support with him back in 89 or 90. Cannot say enough good things about that man.
Wow Mike. I am inspired by you every time I see a video. I’m 18 months removed from a stroke and I have good days bad days but the bad days seem to be more frequent. It affected my left side, balance, and it showed no mercy on my eyes. I can still play but right now I’m not playing very well. My memory and my ability to carry on a conversation are not good presently. BUT…then I watch you and I’ll realize I need to focus on positivity. Physical therapy is strengthening my left side and occupational therapy is helping my coordination. Neuro-ophthalmologist are trying to help my vision. My health issues are small and there’s a lot of people whose health issues are gigantic. God is working on my patience and has put people in my life that are positive and affirming. Music is so helpful and you have inspired so many people with your talent for teaching and playing, how you conduct yourself as a gentleman with class. You’re on my prayer list every day, brother. I’m sorry this is so long but keep up your work and love for your family and your mates.
Brother I'm proud of you for keeping on and fighting your condition. You will beat it and get better. Just keep telling yourself that you're gonna beat it and you will brother. Thank you for your kindness and your prayers my friend 🙏 ❤️
It's sad what Peter's going thru. Fan since '71 with Performance. Led me to his own career, Winterland 3 times, last FCA, DYFLWD. I was there. Next, DOG with Skynyrd, '77........ Rock on, PF !!
loved him with the late Stevie Marriot in Humble Pie , very much a part of my early teenage musical upbringing. So sad to hear of his condition, great that he's fighting it and will give it his all on his farewell tour .
I had no idea that he had this condition! Thanks for reporting on it. If you ever need someone to do another voice over , let me know. I'd be happy to. Thanks for the great content :) EDIT: Email sent your way.
Peters music has been with me through my life for almost 50 years now, like him I have to play seated due to almost losing my legs. Anyway, I know the ''I'm In You'' album wasn't what he wanted to really do so quickly after ''Comes Alive'', but, that album came out at a certain time in my life, I bought it the day it came out, and I loved it, always will, it means a lot to me in many ways, but obviously the best is ''Comes Alive'', that album is what made me want to play, I always wanted a black beauty like his but could never afford one really. But after surviving dying and having aggressive resuscitation, being in a coma, having my legs operated on and one arm, given a 1% chance of surviving, my 3 kids all chipped in and bought me one and presented it to me as we had a meal to celebrate the 1st anniversary of my miracle recovery. I wish one day I could have thanked Peter for giving us so much brilliant music and for personally inspiring my life like no other.
I had GBS for a few weeks. It was right after a nasty sinus infection. I tried to play guitar and came up with a song called "finger jam" because of my clumsy numbsy fingers. It sounded funny and janky as you might expect. I hope you and Peter can play as long as possible.
i fell in love with the way frampton played for the way he was so different from all his peers he had this jazz infusion in his style that was light and fresh but could always go over the top on his solos and just rivet you to watching him play and yes yes im a sucker for phenix his guitar to me it just said rockstar all those humbuckers that sweet sweet binding and that beautiful headstock it wasn't until years later that i found out it was a jazz inspired design man i hope i can see him on this last tour
For the record, I had no idea that Peter was suffering like this until Mike sent me the script. I had to read it through a couple of times & settle down a bit before I could record it. So sad.
Thank you so much John for being an awesome narrator. Its heartbreaking news but I have the feeling we will get some more new material as well. He's a fighter 💪 ❤️
I just noticed... i have switched phones to the wifes old one and am signed in on her youtube account... she is now subscribed to you both as well. I had meant to check on that because i noticed i hadnt seen your vids pop up in a while. I usually comment as Joey Durant. I had mentioned once that my step kids overheard me watching you and thought you were shrek lol... im sure that is their only reference for a welshman.
Mike, it is great that you found help with these, and I like this new format. You do great reporting, reviewing and playing on your show and having a voice over like this is just fine. It might be best to retire the China thing though, your channel seems to be about so much more (if there is even any China stuff anymore) and all of that stuff, like today's episode, is so much more interesting than worrying about Chinese stuff. Thanks for doin what you do (and I am sorry to hear about Peter, thanks for reporting on it though). j
I've been a BIG Peter Frampton fan since I was very young. I remember my mom immediately buying the "Frampton Comes Alive album" when it was first released. I still love Peter Frampton. If they are of interest to you and your schedule allows, I would love to hear something about Pat Travers or Leslie West. Thanks. Still remembering you and yours and sending best wishes your way. I look forward to every Sunday. Have a great day friend! 👍
Am the only one that actually liked the Sgt. Pepper movie? I was a kid when I saw it but I enjoyed it. I am afraid to try to watch it again. I wish Peter an you all the best. I sadly know what it is like to deal with a degenerative disease. Life is so very hard at times but still a better deal than the alternative. Take care.
@@Chinaguitarsceptic Sorry to hear that Mike. John Robson does a good narration. Might see you tomorrow at John's Friday night 'Fat Bloke' drink & chat 😀

Seated, standing, laying on the floor. Peter Frampton is a legend, people should be so lucky to watch him play live.
