You cant downgrade mollywood because of this. You take any other state film industry, or Bollywood the scale of sexual exploitation should be much higher. Only in Kerala, it came out

It is just because only they did a committee to check if junior artist and other females are safe or not. If anyone in other language industry do that, then not only film industry all industry will face same situation..

How about seeing it like this. Please don't malign the Malayalam movie industry.
Am proud of Kerala Govt. and Malayalam movie actresses. This was an initiated by them to clean up the muck. The comparison to Bollywood's MeToo movement is not fair. That was a whistleblowing by some actresses. This is a concentrated effort by the industry and the government to find out if there was merit in these backdoor discussions of harassments by women in the movie industry and they did it in all earnestness. Some of the names that are coming out are big.
Yet another time, Mollywood has proven to be step above the rest. Not just in coming out with great content but also with being open and willing to take the flak .. as a step towards improvement. MORE POWER TO KERALA AND MALAYALEES.
yup.. and dare the other movie industries to do this.. THEY JUST WOULN'T HAVE THE COURAGE and if such a committee is constituted, then the report will never ever see the light of the day.

There are worse industries! Malayalam industry got in the limelight because of a handful of brave women. Other movie and other work places needs cleanup too all over the country...

it's rampant all across, it's only because the commission came out with this report it's a talking point. try having a similar report done on all film industry and see what is revealed. Big names will make sure none of it even sees the light.

The brave actresses finally fought against the dreadful assault in Mollywood. The offenders must be exposed otherwise they will harass more women in future.

Power group just does not exist in Mollywood, it exits in all the leading film industries in India. They decide which film to run, which actor to grow, which director to succeed and so on..We could clearly see this evidence in Kollywood recent days, many movies were literally made to bow on the ground because of these power groups....When these nasty gang have the ability to stop the talent, they will also not leave our innocent women...
