This is in my opinion one of the worlds most interesting and beautiful places. It has been on top of my "want to visit when i win in lotto" list, for more than 40 years now. The Hallstatt culture. The old salt mines. In short it has a very long history and had wide spread influence for almost 800 years. And the view and buildings .. Man i would love to walk there. Great video! It is impossible to capture the beauty of Hallstatt on film. When you arrive by train and board the ferry across the lake, the seemingly unrealistic beauty becomes closer and almost impossible to comprehend. I almost cried as I walked through the central square with it's colorful buildings an floral window boxes. The restaurants along the lake are touristy, but the view of the mountains will make you forget. If you're anywhere in Austria, make it a point to see this magical town!
Hallstatt is considered a favorite tourist destination in Austria. Not only that, this village is also considered the most beautiful village in the world. Amazing....😍😍😍

I visited today. Very beautiful. The mountains and the lake make houses, boats and people appear so small. Three bus trip to Hallstatt gives a feeling og going through a secret garden doorway. Show it respect then the locals will us to continue to visit.
It is really wonderful. Recently I had cursory visit to Switzerland and some other European countries. Austria and of course Hallstat is in my "must see" bucket list. Wathing this video quenched my thirst a little bit.. Thanks for this beautiful experience...❤❤
