- Secondary Riders for a long time now have been an important part of the Kamen Rider franchise. So why do they always seem to get the short end of the stick? Marcus, Matt, and Jacob (especially Marcus) are here to rant about it.

A Short Look at Reviews Nico is a rider?
The thing with Specter that always pissed me off was.....HE WAS POTENTIALLY THE MOST COMPELLING CHARACTER WE COULD'VE HAD!!! This is the guy who had to be raised through "Hell" in the Ganma World for 10 years ever since he & his sister were sucked away from Earth, growing a grudge at his friends for seemingly forgetting even trying to save them, which watching how Takeru & his friends were, he might've had some truth to that! This is the guy who was raised by Ganma soldiers for 10 years, befriended Alain, and was apparently offered to become a Ganma himself due to dialogue in the story. But what do they do with him? They immediately ERASE all his justifiable hatred for Takeru as soon as he revives his sister instead of gradually making him come to forgive him. Oh, and after he turns good? ZILCH!!! THEY BARELY DO ANYTHING WITH HIM!!! They TRY with the whole Specter Doppelganger thing, but that's useless because it makes ZERO SENSE & is never explained until the Specter V-Cinema, which that explanation STILL DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!!!
It's why I was SO GLAD Specter got a V-Cinema to make up for the lost character development he should've had. And honestly, seeing it RAW, regardless of a couple issues.....from what I can tell, overall, that V-Cinema did Makoto's character JUSTICE.
One of the reasons of why Baron is my favorite secondary rider, is beacuse he wasn't nerfed.

I really hated Ghost's ending because how bullshit the victory before the last was: you have a gigantic manifestation of the final enemy stealing the souls of every person in the entire city, none of the Riders can touch it...yet somehow Takeru remembering his mother out of absolutely nowhere gives him the will to fight on.
Not just the will, but the power. Ghost busts out his final God Omega Drive (Love Bomber), which is the same as any other freaking Mugen finisher...and that finisher is what smashes the enemy down to size in which he proceeds to defeat him in the other bullshit way mentioned in this video.
Holy shit, Ghost had potential but they squandered it.

Red Rangers are Best Rangers.
No, they are not. You have Gai Yuuki (Black Condor), Mikoto Nakadai (Abare Killer), Rio and Mele, Beet J Stag (Stag Busters), Utsusemimaru (Kyoryu Gold), Sela (Zyuoh Shark), Tsuruhime (Ninja White), Jiraiya (Ninja Black), etc.. So yeah, not all best characters in Super Sentai have to be red rangers.
They also nerf Sixth Rangers.
It's funny how joining the team always seems to slow them down.
Is goseiger is the only sentai that technically has no leader?
something i only just noticed watching this episode, there's a reason Hyper Beast and Meteor Storm use the same Color scheme, They're Literally the same suit, just with minor modifications (they remove alot of the gold from Storms helmet, the solar system detailing, and add the Armor bits of beast.)
Also, could you please do a video on the "female kamen rider curse" or on Toshiki Inoue's writing in Tokusatsu?

Can i make a suggestion ? i really wants your opinion on what makes a good balance on Kamen Rider / Super Sentai. Is a really dark theme makes a good show ? and does a goofy, fun and enjoyable theme makes a bad show ?

Humam Eastrawan What makes a good show is good writing. It doesn't have to be dark to be good and being lighthearted doesn't mean bad. It's all in how you use it.

It's funny too, cuz the Secondary Riders usually end up being the better characters of the two in comparison.
If I remember right on Kagami he had to actually cut the monster first, THEN Tendou could find the weak point with the flower and blow the thing up.

One top ten list you should do is top ten super sentai teams and base the criteria on the chemistry of the team members in and out of the suits, weapons and finishing attacks and how powerful they were, attitudes, how they fought and story arcs as an entire team. Don't base it on opening and closing themes and mechas though.

At the very least the majority of the Riders you guys have mentioned gets an upgrade, including Diend and Accel... Except Birth. I loved Beast's initial suit by the way.

you mention Ghost beating the final guy in base form. Which is worse, that or Fourze beating the final guy of his show while NOT TRANSFORMED (minus the rider kick)? I enjoy Fourze and even then i found that incredibly stupid (and I liked that scene other than that)

I have an idea. You guys should do top ten henshin sequence in sentai/kamen rider. Describe what you like about the transformation and how cool it looked. For example, one of my favorite rider transformation is decade, I love the sound effects and I just love the way that there were like multiple clones around the user and then they all come together and form the suit and the cards going inside the helmet then the power of the cards travel in the suit body and he is fully formed.

Triple Aces555 My favorite Henshin in all of Kamen Rider is the initial Kachidoki morph. Granted, it's a not the sequence I like just the plot impact. My favorite aesthetic is the Faiz transformations. All of them to include Kaixa and Delta. The aesthetics for it lend themselves perfectly to the Triple Henshin. I feel like no other three riders have such a good aesthetic. No other triple morph has had the same effect for me

I'll at least give Beast credit. He at least stopped the 2nd sabboth and saved everyone where Wizard couldn't cause he was captured.
Wizard wasn't even captured, he willingly gave himself up to save Koyome...and only THEN realized that this thing that killed lots of people before... made by this guy who's killed lots of people before... could kill lots of people.

Beast disappoints me so much because I actually liked his character but there was no denying that he was incredibly underpowered like every time he henshined to fight or protect someone I was like yeah but we still have to wait for Wizard to get here and save day so that was irritating and I do agree with about Ghost which sucks because I still like the potential Ghost brought but Mugen should have never existed it brought more problems to the show it should have just had the 15 icons and ended with Grateful damashi with Boost still as the mid-season power up but done better and no sunglass slasher there should have just been more attachments to the gan gan saber because that was a cool weapon and played up more on the ghost aspect and not try and make him Jesus and not have bitch secondary riders although Alan had some good story development but was weak as shit after he became good and I still stand by Laser being the best character in Ex-aid but just by the nature of the show he was only in about 7 episodes and of course everyone else is developing as they move on but if he didn't die he would have kept developing into a better character than everyone else right now like they so should have killed off Brave his first little story arc was already complete by the time Kiriya died and there was still more to be seen with Kiriya
Top 10 monsters in Kamen rider/ super sentai
Yeah, people are LEGIT angry at Kiriya's death. I mean he kinda went down fighting, but it's still crazy they had the gall to kill him off that quick.
Alun Buss I think it's partially because he died on the Christmas episode, especially after the rest of it was so happy and then he dies. I really liked Laser, but feel like it's good they killed him rather than Brave or Snipe. I feel like with Lazer, he ran his course. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have seen what they did with him. However, I'm caught up with Ex-Aid and watching the latest episodes, I can see what Brave and Snipe contribute, and see no place for where Lazer would have been useful.
Jason Yu Yeah. And I also doubt there'll be any revivals except Genm's. It would cheapen the moment. Movies don't count.
Speak of which, I'm not expecting Brave to become the next villain. Snipe maybe, but Brave nah. Brave's got too high a standard to fall to villainy from the Gashat Gear Dual Beta. And besides, he still has to fight True Brave, and then there's how his magic looks.
Meteor doesnt' really count, he was useful for most of the show and he even defeats one of the big bad guys in the end. Now that i think about it the only reason he didn't take a shot with the main bad guy was because Fourze had already a plan to defeat him and meteor's job was only to defeat the other big bad guy
Loru Fangs Yeh, really for "Meteor's butch syndrome" it's more of Cosmic too broken versus Meteor Storm
Feng Elaine I don't consider Cosmic states to be that powerful, even fourze got wrecked a couple of times when he was using that form. The only broken ability of Cosmic states is creating a portal to space, you can literally beat most of the normal monsters of other seasons with that ability and maybe some riders
Loru Fangs Well Cosmic is more broken than Meteor Storm and because of he can merge Switches, that's just kinda bs and broken considering the 40 switches. And by broken, not like Hyper Kabuto and Super Rising Ultimate Kuuga broken

Davon Mishima They commented on him. He was basically what Beast was TRYING to be. He was silly and goofy, but he knew when to be serious, and he overloaded Dead Heat on purpose. He never really suffered by being the Secondary Rider. CHASER, on the other hand, was lost when Gold Drive came to call...

Don Hillsman II Well, it depends on which female character is more interesting to watch as a Kamen Rider and which ones are not. Also, you are aware that Japan is a country that is basing its' values on making women as nothing more, but just housewives and mothers, right?! I mean, we're constantly bitching and complaining about women not being treated equally in the U.S., yet, in Japan, there's barely any equal rights for women over there?! Seriously, dude. You should be thankful that you're not actually born and raised in Japan in the first place.

HammerMeister1999 Yah, Specter got the worst treatment for a Second Rider. It's strange how it's Makoto that is getting the special movie title and not Necrom. Still, I hope the movie special could give greatness to Specter.
Really? Because, I remember when Necrom was an utter brat whose name we didn't know until episode 12 and his just "God-modded" his way through the fights... except of course for the constant curb-stopping when he really shouldn't be losing. Furthermore, he ran out of things to actually do when he joined the team and decided to fight in the name of an old lady he barely knew to begin with.
Regardless, you are entitled to your opinion and I will respect that. However, I'm of the opinion that both Spectre and Necrom suck, just for different reasons (though both ran out of things to do).
