I'm on the "Watch live" crowd BUT... Martirio, Six feet deep, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, is 21st century Blood's video MUST be watched!
100% agreed!!! Would add Que Mas Quires as well.
Martirio is a masterpiece.
Absolutely. IMO, the best composition in all aspects of a song in their catalog.
"Six Feet Deep" is an Amazing movie video. Another must watch is "Que Màs Quieres" movie video which was directed by Pau The (Drummer)
Also "Automatic Sun" is another great OMV live Video and Studio Audio. At Pa'l Norte festival is exceptional.
XXI Century Blood OMV when Teenagers is Amazing...
I'm definitely not an expert on the Warning, but I have got the impression that they record the studio versions of their songs early in their evolution. It seems like they give the studio version everything it needs to be a great song regardless of whether that can be played live or not. Then they develop the song further into a live version which usually improves on the studio version, sometimes not, but always benefits from a lot more of the energy that they feed off of the audience. I like that method, because you basically end up with two different songs for the price of one. I enjoy when reactors do both versions in a twofer reaction.
Check out the Slow motion.... They are playing intime with the song.... It's amazing the detail they put into this Video experience!!!!!!
This video really captures their vibe I think... you can sense the pride for their homeland. Can't wait to glimpse fan vids of their upcoming February concerts in Mexico.
It's the Icamole desert to the northwest of their hometown Monterrey. Apparently the shoot took all day and evening and they were absolutely miserable - but they're troopers
Yep. Windy as hell, blowing gritty sand around into the faces and it got into their clothes. Also it was 113 degrees F (45 Degrees C). Plus, they were fighting off wasps as well.
@@elgonwilliams7624 Wasps and bees seem to be their recurring nemesis.
That guitar part is there but it is really low in the mix. I haven't noticed that before but now I definitely notice it. I was one of many that recommended the music video but it was because of how beautiful the video is.
Haven't a Scooby do what Dany is saying. But I love this song, it's a rock anthem that should be played in stadiums around the world ❤

You should check out their MV for Six Feet Deep next!
I dont understand a single word of this song but who cares. The cadence and emotion pull you right in and you can feel it deep.
They mix up their verses and chorus' with the slightest changes that arent really noticeable but very pleasing to the ears.
My favorite version of this song is the Teatro Metropolitan.....so much emotion.

@timnye718 thanks. I have seen it.
It chokes me up at the end every time!
*Martirio* OMV
in the OMV, the covering over the building frame was not supposed to be shredded... it was assembled whole but the winds had other ideas so DPA/TW and the team decided not to fight it... the flapping canvas makes for a nice atmosphere and works pretty well for this for the video and what the song represents...
this is not the first time they've had to deal with the winds, either... one or two of their other MVs that were shot outside were also on windy days... their Foo Fighters cover of *The Pretender* comes to mind... there were also comments about how the blowing sand stung and caused them to feel like they had a sunburn... they did a great and professional job, that's for sure 😹
TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
That guitar riff is NOT taken out. It is just very low in the mix.... and yes they last half is the same as in the live version. It is just with the visual dynamics and understanding what is actually be portrayed is just so strong (assuming you understand what the song is about).
Either version of Martiro does it for me. Discipline is probably their second biggest super produced music video.
I meant Disciple. As good as TW are, they don't do 80's King Crimson covers. (Yet)
All of their music videos are well done and some are even fun with lots of Easter Eggs planted for their long-term fans to find. And no two are similar.
This is one of their very best songs and together with the video it becomes perfect, I can watch it over and over. It has a special kind of feel.
Go back and watch the live from Pepsi Center. Ale & Dany sing the last part out beautifully after Pau says goodnight to the audience.❤
I think we can forgive you for sounding a bit ratty!!! Hope you feel better soon 😁
The location does look beautiful on video - but they said it was one of the most difficult and uncomfortable shoots they'd ever done.
It was in the dessert - extremely hot with little shelter, the winds were so strong at times, sand and dust got everywhere (mouth, eyes etc). They also mentioned the flies. Then there were the fire scenes - as if it wasn't hot enough! Dani particularly, when she had to shoot the guitar solo in the middle of that ring of fire said that was really uncomfortable as it was multiple takes. 😂
Plus their shade structure immediately shredded. Makes for amazing visuals. You can see fabric getting caught on Pau's drums and her arm! ;)
@@mykemech Hahaha, yes - never noticed Pau with the fabric before till you mentioned it! 👍
Thank you!
Not only flies, but in one interview they said they were also being constantly bothered by hornets
@@glennelfmann3143 Ouch! Lol. 😁
The only official live they have on the streamers so far is ‘Qué Más Quieres’ live from New York. (People have ripped the concerts and added them for themselves). Live albums is something people are always asking for but none so far. (But Auditorio Nacional is tomorrow & they’re gonna perform KMF in its entirety so, once again, hope against hope, maybe this time?🤞)
They take the opportunity live to enhance various instruments. It feels different as you mention. And live you can feel the POWER !! 🤟🏼🎸🥁🎸🤟🏼
Just love Pau’s work on this track. The drum & cymbal pattern in the 2nd verse is killer & the ending tom work is also on point. Great video!
Nobody told you yet? Live performance is their super power! Yes, the live version is the same at the end. Hiwever, the Teatro Metropolitan is a bit better at the end than the Pepsi Center.
This is one of my favorites and I don't speak Spanish much.. Absolutely amazing song.. 🌍✌️
Every element of this song is beautifully crafted, it’s a true masterpiece. There’s good reason for it to be the usual closer live, before the encore.
As others have said, their OMVs all tend to be clever, often funny and full of “Easter eggs”.
Disciple is a great OMV. I also recommend the omv for ERROR.
The Pepsi Center performance of error is phenomenal! The emotion on Dany's face and in her voice builds to such a crescendo!
Ale's bass really fills up the live venues. Another difference between studio and live versions of songs, in general, is that the studio version may have multiple Dany vocal tracks vs the live version will have Ale and/or Pau's vocals. And The Warning does mod their songs for live performances at times, their remake of Enter Sandman has evolved over time for example.
that is with all songs .. the studio version is the 1.0 version. .. songs grows over time live
Just a fun fact, one of the characters dressed in black is their mom, Monica. Epic song. Great reaction. Hope you feel better soon.
An absolute masterpiece.
and still my favorite TW song of all time
Yes, that line is buried pretty deep. It's far more prominent when Dany plays it live.
FANTASTIC!
⚡️⚡️🤘🏼⚡️⚡️
!!!GOODISM¡¡¡ The Warning is 100% 🔥 !!!🎵Ole Ole Ole Oleeee Warning Warning🎵¡¡¡. Greetings from Argentina.
I told you…
LIVE is better!! Video is very cool though
Ok, I want you to go listen to this song from Teatro Metropolitan. It is so much better than the Pepsi Center. Not that Pepsi is bad, but the bombastic nature of that mix does a bit of a disservice to this song.
Even if you don't do a reaction, do it just to compare for yourself.
Also, I am not sure why your OMV sounded so flat in this. Sounds much more dynamic when I watch it on my own. You do have 'stable volume' turned off, right?
All that said, this was a great reaction.
IMO, Dany’s huge belts in Martirio and Choke from Error and HYCAD from KMF are less dynamic in the studio versions.
Live is always better...when it comes from The Warning. 😉
Too clear is not always better.
Studio versions of them are usually too smooth and trimmed to “zero line” for my ears.
I miss the vocal variations and the liveliness of a live version.
Great song ! Thank you. If you like Dany ( guitar/vocals ), check this out ! Great reaction ! If you want to see Dany sing Sweet Leaf by Black Sabbath and Back and Black by AC/DC at PRS 40th anniversary celebration this month and maybe react. ruclips.net/video/eWOWCSGPzsA/видео.html. Dany does that guitar part quiet loud live. They are only 3 girls.
In The Warning's case, live is usually better, and TWA will EMPHATICALLY let you know it. Everyone's got their own opinion on live vs studio, though. For example, I think the studio version of their cover of Enter Sandman w/ Alessia Cara is better than the Teatro Metropolitan CDMX, which is better than the Pepsi Center CDMX. Even on live versions, there are split opinions. I happen to think the Theatro Metropolitan CDMX version of Martirio is more passionate than the Pepsi Center CDMX version. Bottom line, give the music videos and studio versions a chance. They may surprise you.
Live is better but I think you may have a speaker issue.
🤘👍🤘
