I sell cookbooks here in Australia. Have not seen most of those titles here, although Julia Childs is definitely popular here. I agree it’s often the cookbooks from high-end chefs with recipes from their own restaurants which sell well. I did sell one cookbook for $350.00 which cost me $2.00 at a library sale. (I had never even heard of this chef but he is obviously an expert in his field!)

The Australian book market is so interesting to me. Very different from here in the United States.

I sell cookbooks every single week. There are lots of worthless cookbooks out there, but also lots of paper gold.

Josh I sold the The Judds cookbook for about 55$. I found it at a dollar store about 20 years ago. It was new!
