- This S2000 is still on its original engine with 43k miles. A bone stock F22 bottom with only InlinePro head studs and BC valve springs & steel retainers making over 900whp. You add this stout power plant to a Samsonas H-pattern 6speed, and a Ford 8.8 rear end and you have a set up that is ready to fly if it holds together. Talking about keeping it together, Jeff Evans has this tuned to perfection using Flashpro. The owner pushed the stock bottom end to a 9.2 besting the previous F22 record on 11/22/20 and went home happy. After sitting on some thoughts for a few days, he decided to go back on 11/28 and try again. Good thing he did because he ripped off an 8sec pass!

This is why I don't understand all the S2ks who would do a K swap when the F22C is vastly superior overall. The S2k F series engines are overbuilt and for a 4 cylinder can make great power without worrying too much about the bottom end.
The reason people use the k motors is for tracking and motorsports such as drifting. Because the f motors cost so dam much. 4-6k where a k motor is 800 bucks and has way more after market support . So if you blow a motor at track, it's a lot more affordable to buy another
k- motor and have your car ready for the next track event

We don't make enough tq to not keep it on the limiter. 🤣
I get messages all the time about limiter . I have no strain hooked up . I never take my foot off the gas . Just pump the clutch . The passes 9.6-9.23 I left on 8psi on 2 step . The 9.22 and 9.11 and 8.93 pass I left on 20 psi . This season I'm gonna leave on more psi and try for sub 1.40 60ft .

Man this f@ckin' car is a myth!With minor mods you do what ever you like and you a got a great looking,awsome roadster!With a stock motor-chassis-weight everyday car you can have a drag star,as we've seen here(8sec club is just a dream),a trackday car(competing with sport cars with double the power and way more expensive) or a cool roadster you can enjoy your ride anytime you want and still make heads turn after 21 years!!!

Impressive! Honda motors are the GOAT. Makes me want to get another S2K and boost it. I kept mine NA due to the weak transmission and rear end. Much better options now.

The motor might be stuck, but that’s the only thing everything else is a add-on Bolton to make a go faster therefore it is not completely stock. I hate it when people say it is stock when it is not stock.

Pro tip if you have a stock f22 or anything for that matter and you shoot the moon. Take the pistons out and gap the rings .007 per inch of diameter. Re assemble and send.

@@dsmcraig he is driver modding it. That is the limiter flat shifting with the clutch because stock ECU won't support any ignition cut other than 2 step
