40mbs only in PH. Telco ripping off Filipinos by charging more but giving less speed. If no third telco, they wont upgrade their system. Why does it take 30 seconds for the failover to take affect
I wish i knew. Maybe it will improve on the latest firmware? I still havent updated yet.
Hello Spliffy TV, I have connected 2 WAN, Globe and Converge but the Converge is a static IP. The Globe is Dynamic. It shows that both are connected but switching to converge, does not give me connection. Is it possible to connect a dynamic and static Wan? or this only works with both are dynamic?
yes as long as the ip is correct. can you try dynamic with converge? dont plug globe yet.
Is it seamless?
it would take a few seconds (see vid)
what is the default password and username for TL-ER605, PLEASE SHARE!!
i dont think it has one. from factory or from a hardware reset, it prompts you to make your username/password. you can reset it using my guide in the video. :D
Can I use this for gaming lag switching?
if your isp is unstable, probably yes.
hi can you give me How to block mobile apps using tp link omada vpn router | Block any app or website on TP-LINK ER605
noted bro. :)
@@SpliffyTV OK, thanks
Can this be used on a ps5?
for fail-safe connection? yes
Can you have multiple ip for one wan ?
public ip?
@@SpliffyTV yes
I want the one that has username and password for ip, is it possible?
13:04 I can tell that you have a dog based on the fibers on your ethernet cable.
it's so sad I have to keep them away from my room these days. it's really hard to keep up with the cleaning. :D
Don't worry. I have those too. Cat fibers too.
How about the pppoe function
sad news bro. globe wont give the pppoe password to home fiber users anymore :(

I have 300mbps PLDT internet. Using speedtest by google, fast, ookla, it can achieve up to 300mbps. however, if Im downloading files, it can go to only 10MB/s which is equivalent to only 80mbps. when im connected directly to PLDT modem, no problem i can have 27MB/s download. do you also notice using this router? i use standalone and omada controller but same behavior.
are you connected using the LAN port of er605 to your unit directly?
@@SpliffyTV yes i do
im assuming you're using the same LAN cable right? what exactly are you downloading? torrent? ftp? browser? multiple files/single file? what size of the file/files? just curious. there are so many factors to consider.
@@SpliffyTV yes im using same lan cable. im downloading video card driver from nvidia website directly as a sample download file test. when using pldt, 27MB/s. when using tp link router er605,it can only do 10MB/s. however if im downloading games using Steam, er605 can do 27MB/s.
@@linoemmanuels that's weird. can you try changing your DNS. use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Multiwan nga pero isa ang gumagana dapat maging duble ang speed
im still trying to contact globe po. need po kasi pppoe pass para mag aggregate. :( napakahirap contakin kahit personal account ko pa.
WAN B
WAN Bonding?
you need pppoe from isp
Will this work with nord vpn?
nord discontinued L2TP/IPsec and PPTP protocols in 2018. no clue since I don't have a nord account yet.
don't put the cable. just disable the internet on the router and see fail over.
40mbs only in PH. Telco ripping off Filipinos by charging more but giving less speed. If no third telco, they wont upgrade their system. The cost of home internet in the Philippines is almost the same in our place but there is totally slow. Normal speed for landline in our place is 700 to ~1000 mbps. Can go ~2000mbs if you upgrade higher.
hey bro, thanks for the visit. yes... philippine ISPs are totally behind compared to other countries.
my Globe Telco actually upgraded my account without me knowing. lol, and i just found out about it when doing this video ruclips.net/video/bU4WSGv0noI/видео.html... i have 150mbps now, can go higher sometimes. but also throttles down on some occasions. my bandwidth can handle all my IoT devices including my smart TVs and gadgets so i dont have issues for now. the only gripe i have is that the ISPs support centers here are very hard to contact and can waste your time if you want to go to their physical store.
Mine not connected
what did you do?
i see double nat
It sucks to know
This omada can't handle 500+ mbps connection.😂
it L E D ( ELL EEEE DEEE) NOT LEAD !!!
It's not it (iiitttssss) !!!
Too damn slow to boot up :-( I had to replace it with Asus router with dual wan
that's true bro. what's the name of your asus router?
@@SpliffyTV Asus RT AC68U V3, seems much reliable for me but not cheap unlike TPLINK ER605. TPLink is bang for buck if boot time is not an issue
@@SolidSnakeAce thanks... way too much for my budget. T_T but with the fast boot time and wifi capabilities, it's worth looking into.
God bless President Trump and Israel.
