As someone who lives in Newcastle Australia, these spots are completely unskateable to the average skater. Almost everything in this part is close to impossible! Absolutely epic part

Yep as a fellow Novocastrian I wouldn't even consider most of the spots skateable at all. Rowan's ability to see things other skaters can't is one of his many strengths. And the footage doesn't really give credit to how gnarly and impossible these spots are. My mind is constantly blown by this young legend.

It’s amazing to see the progression over the last 10-15 years, everyone is just so talented and technical. The speed, size and trick variety has been so elevated it’s amazing.
Man I had to rewind 0:35 about ten times! So insane! A little bummed on the filming of the ender though. Only because you can't see how insane it really is.

You really can’t appreciate how gnarly most these spots are until you go to Newcastle...cracked and bumpy ground and ledges and rails well over a hundred years old. So good to see this!

Well done on going pro! I remember around 6-7 years ago seeing a young Rowan skate a little skatepark at Toukley on the Central Coast. He was ripping so good.

Rad trick selection. Unfortunately most of the filming made it difficult to get much of a feel for his style/spots he was skating. Girl use to be the gold standard for video production. This looked like some Strobec bullshit
It's crazy to me how Strobeck ever got popular. A lot of the guy's filming sucks for skating. I also get a creep vibe from him because he's always recording teen boys shirtless.

People forget Strobeck has a strong resume starting from early 00s. I guess you can consider him "popular" since he switched to supreme but the lad can do anything behind a camera but choses to push the boundary with a new style. As much as I personally don't like his new filming style as much, its still way more enjoyable than fken skate vids with 8mm b roll lol.
As an artist I can appreciate his artistry even though its not my cuppa tea

Great style. Hit everything with tons of speed and you can just see his mastery with how he greases the tricks after the trick and powerslides n shit. Also looks like a bogen who drives a ute. Love it.

Im gna start a new filming trend, "The Reverse Stroebeck"! You start off filming thier feet, soon as they go to pop u quickly pan to thier face, hold that til after they land an roll away about 5-6 feet and pan back down to the feet! Comin in hot for 2038!
