As a musically knowledgeable person, I think you would appreciate PENTATONIX THE RECORDING OF EVERGREEN. It shows them in the studio working on their Grammy nominated album Evergreen. You will see the kind of attention and detail they put into their work.
I agree. I mean, they were trying to keep it to 4 minutes, but they sort of glossed over the first couple centuries, there. 🙂I would love a 20 minute version of this, but then, I'd probably want it to go for an hour, and then where would we be? They could do it, though, if anyone can.
Was surprised they went all the way back to Gregorian Chants when I heard it the first time. They do know their musical history and they appreciate it. Their evolutions are just amazing. One take all the way through and very minimal post production. They do a few takes and just post the best one. They are probably the best in the business at transitioning from one song to another. They are just seamless.
Such a great recommendation and acknowledgement of the group's hard work!! Apparently they do about 4 or 5 of the medley...all in one take, and then choose which one they want to publish. You're right...they're very hardworking. They used to do recordings while on tour. There was a traveling recording studio they attached to their tour bus. Some recommendations: Be My Eyes ( an original), Imagine, Bohemian Rhapsody, or check out some of their Christmas stuff such as: Carol of the Bells, Little Drummer Boy, O Holy Night, Silent Night, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy ( that won a Grammy), God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.
Hi! It's so evident their hard work! Which makes the ending result beyond amazing! I will definitely have a look at your recommendations. I can see already some titles I would love to listen to, so thank you very much! 😊 I already reacted to Bohemian Rapsody. Is in the channel, somewhere close. If you like to check it out!
I hear you on wanting to hear a bit more from the classical side. But I imagine they honed in on who their overall fan base is. But I like classical music as well.
Love the reaction! You’re so cute! PTX is the best, when it comes to Christmas music. You might want to look into their catalog of easily a hundred songs.
Thanks for the reaction. I hope you continue to react and enjoy their music. I personally don’t like the phrase “I’m going to be honest…” it implies that other reactors aren’t honest. You might like the video “What makes Pentatonix’s “Angels we have heard on high” so great?” From the Kojo Nnamdi Show.

Very nice video reaction. Give their live videos a try. Their "Daft Punk" or "Hallelujah" great.
New subscriber, here in the hope you will continue to explore Pentatonix. Peace from Ohio …
