    For all our non Aussie viewers, I'd like to tell you that this coastline, where our favorite cliff swinging fisherman brings us these great clips from, is unlike any other coastline in Oz. The big rounded and smooth granite boulders and cliffs are unlike anywhere else here.(we get some similar terrain here in South Oz, which is next door to Western Oz, but nothing to the extent WA has)) it's a unique style fishing he brings us, I don't know of anyone else bringing us these types of glorious fishing clips. Great stuff champ

      I only know of a few places in the US that are similar but theyre not as dramatic as the 100+ foot rock faces Gido repells down, or the caverns he shelters in, or the wilderness. I subscribed because as far as I can tell this type of adventure fishing isnt being done. This dynamic between rock climbing, big game fishing, camping, travel, and sometimes kayak fishing I find extremely interesting as a casual angler. It's truly inspiring.

    Hey legends this was my last fishing trip for 2022. Happy New Year everyone and bring on 2023 and hopefully some more successful fishing 😆
    Also just a heads up, scammers often come through and reply to comments saying you have won a prize and to contact them, they use my profile picture but they don't use my exact account name because they cant. Anyways if I'm doing a giveaway it wont come as a surprise like that it will be announced properly so just ignore the scammers and I block them once I notice 👍

    As someone who spent months camping in a hammock, I highly recommend using the same anker points for the moskitonet, maybe with some rubber bands for tension. You can even put a tarp over it to protect from rain o sun and you will be fine. In case of heavy rain you're also save from flood...

    Good job on the hammock. The ground is always level and smooth when you're in a hammock. I run a light weight bivy with an air mattress and sleeping bag inside which I deflate and roll up all together. Then if I can't find a place to set up I can just throw the bivy on the ground. Also, if you set up a bit tighter you can sleep flatter.

    • @gidosfishingadventures
      @gidosfishingadventures  Год назад

      I’ve been wanting to get a bivy for some time now. Nice and easy to lay in small areas especially on the coastline around here where flat spots are small and rarer, probably get one later this year, should be good for longer hikes when I don’t want to spend long finding and setting up camp
