@serenity6415 There are a few videos out there of people asking Scottish youtubers to say "Purple burglar alarm" it's like asking someone with a strong English accent to say "Bottle of water" In both of those accents, it's a tongue twister, which is generally funny because without the accent, it is not. "Purple burglar alarm" though is extremely difficult to say for Scots. One youtuber did not think it would be and while trying to prove it he failed epicly and the video is quite popular because he was so shocked. He worked at it and made another video after practicing and nailed it. It was quite the redemption arc! I highly recommend it. I think just a search for those words yields it.
@beyondfubar That's funny. I'll look for it. One time a Danish actress said their favorite tongue twister, "red oatmeal".. it sounded like she'd been stabbed in the neck. Didn't even sound like words. I should try it in Google translate...
This wee, tiny purple choo-choo has a pedicure girl's bike, and a manicure with a clock. If it weren't for the Scottish, we'd have nothing. God bless them.
To be fair, Midwestern is THE accent to have if you want to be on national t.v. People with regional dialects have to work to sound like us if they want to be a news caster or sports reporter.
@@roems6396 California / Oregon / Washington are generally even more neutral, at least where I lived in all three. Midwest is a bit nasally (and I say that coming from Western NY, where if you were to plug their nose no sound would come out, lol)
@@caoimhemacnally6393 🤣🤣 I think it's true for all of us, but certain accents are more unique I suppose than others because of how they sound compared to the standardized English of whatever country people are from. That's my theory on it. We all have accents even though some of us feel like we don't.
@@geen-gekopieerde-naamSome accents aren't so heavy/thick. I'm cajun french so that's the accent I have, but I do not have a super thick accent (it does come out sometimes though) but I don't feel like people notice it much.
I love these tiny tykes❤ It's great to see these moms teaching the little ones so young. Talk to them using grown up words and phrases and they will learn to communicate intelligently
It’s so weird to hear these fully formed Scottish accents in toddlers! I am from London, and I must admit, I’ve mixed with more Irish than Scots. The terminology like “wee” for little, is so cute to hear on kids!
I love how they sound exactly like my kids in the U.S. but as they get older, they take on their parents' verbal mannerisms and speech patterns. It's so cute to see.
So cute! My eldest niece used to say "effant" for elephant & "pianio" for piano, & I miss those too. (She did laugh when I told her the Ukrainian word for piano is "pianino"). Her sister still starts telling us things with "You ever know..." instead of "Did you know...", & I'm never going to correct her 😂
Gotta get some American English children speaking interactions videos with the Scottish speaking children it would be so great but they would still understand each other 😂
She's all, "I've played this game before and I'm pretty sure one of the answers is purple."
Freaking LOVES purple!!
A toddler I nannied did this same thing with saying “blue” first every time. So funny 😂
But Mummy didn't actually give her a purple one in the end!
Shame there was no purple one. Was expecting it, and for her to say blue or red😂
Everything was purple. Training them at an early age to say purple burglar alarm.
😂🤣😂🤣😂😉
I came here to say that …glad I’m not the only one that was thinking that!🤣🍻
I don't get it sorry lol.. what's the joke? 🇨🇦

Someone get that little angel some purple chalks so she can be right at least one. Bless her little cotton socks. 💜
To that someone, please get the lad his “wee tiny clock” while you’re at it 😂
Came down to read the comments, and caught myself reading them with a Scottish accent.
Same 😂

Everyone saying she likes purple but I'm thinking she doesn't know which one even is purple. LoL. Love her
Proof that Scots CAN say purple 😂
Yes but can she say purple burglar alarm? 😂
That first girl is going to grow up to be the fist Scottish person ever to be able to say "purple burglar alarm" without any difficulty.
Time to make my (pretty Scottish-sounding) grandmother say it to test her 😈
"Wish i could have a wee, tiny clock" xD
"Mummee, I got muh toows dun, un muh neeils..." That one is a philologist in the making!!
That one got me, I was rolling
I can't get over how absolutely ADORABLE they all are! 😂
Buy the poor girl some purple chalk 😂
The Scottish accent is simply beautiful. I could listen to it all day. And here I sit with this lame ass nothing of an Ohio speech pattern.
How about the *Boston* speech pattern? We sound like human car horns! 😠😂
There's more than one Scottish accent, they're all brilliant though.

I don’t know what accent you’re thinking of. Every single news anchor sounds like everyone I know.
“Wee tiny clock” I can’t! I’m on the floor rolling🤣🤣
Well that the cutest thing I’ve ever seen
Scottish (english) accent is the BEST English in the world! Hands down!
Also, I learned that everything is purple!
“It’s absolewtle stinken!”
😂😂
She's in training to say purple burglar alarm😂😂😂😂

So wild that that kids pick up on and incorporate accents so early.
Well, everyone has an accent, human brain is wired for language learning

I need that baby saying pedicure as a message tone! So flipping adorable!!!
Oh this is way past adorable! I could watch and listen for hours. Thank you!
OMG just show her a purple one so she can get 1 right lol.
AWWWW my heart melted when she said *PURPLE!!?* . Aww so precious 😊. I only have sons but have little nieces and its a different vibe for sure 😊
So cute!
Not having a single piece of purple chalk for the first one has to be borderline psychological abuse lol.
Just beautiful, love hearing accents from all over the world , but I have to admit that the Scottish accent is one of my favourites ☺️
get that kid a wee tiny clock!!!
I had to play that again because I didn't hear "wee tiny cLock" at first.
I hear being color blind builds character 🤣
Scottish accent - most beautiful accent on the planet
Purple, the chicken of colors. It’s not in everything, but it could be.
I am very upset that the first baby was not shown a purple piece of chalk so at least she would have been right one time! Come on, Mom!
Somebody gives this baby a purple chalk.
She her the purple one already! 😊
I was a bit disappointed that none were purple. Give the girl a break!

She really, really likes purple. When my daughter was that age she said “per-pel”. About broke my heart when she started pronouncing it correctly.
