They have videos on math, physics, biology, statistics and more. They have lots of good stuff there so check them out!!
This video gives an introduction to random variables in statistics / probability. In this video I only look at discrete random variables but am hoping to give you a taste of what they are about. In the follow up video I will look at expected value of a random variable.

Darn it. I mess up at the very end. I say the probability of having x = 2 is 1/2 when it is clearly 1/3! sorry for the mistake. do the arithmetic on your own and my apologies :)

The arithmetic will be 1/2 (the probability of x being greater 1 and less than 4) thanks again!

You're back! I'd love more discrete math videos. I'm struggling through my course now. You really helped in my high school calc class!

Wow I remember this channel from many years ago, I use spend sooo many hours watching your videos back in the day as an undergraduate. Man time flies it’s sad I miss those days.

You're my youtube professor when I was in college 12 years ago and again when I took my masters 5 years ago. I was able to pass my calculus classes because of you. Now that I have been a teacher myself for almost 10 years, I still watch your videos for reference. Thank you very much and God bless you.🤗

You helped me a lot during my undergrad studies the last few years. Thanks for that and keep on making this great content. I managed to pass prob stat in my undergrad without your help but video’s like this sure would’ve come in handy. Cheers dude

Thanks for explaining this topic so well. I'm a math major, but probability and statistics is just one of those topics that I've always avoided. Also, your channel was really helpful back when I was taking Calculus, so it's really good to see that you're back to making videos(IMO the sharpie on paper for doing problems was original; but definitely liking this new format)

Man back in 2013 thanks to you I managed to pass 3 courses calculus vector algebra and multi variable and lately I decided to take a course in statistics and probability I guess the Time repeats itself...

I literally wanted a video covering this topic from you. I have a test this Tuesday, and our teacher is honestly just bad at explaining stuff.

I hope my intro is ok for you! I take a second at one point as I sort of second guess my stuff but it is correct all except for a mistake at the end. Let me know how you like it! There will be some follow ups with some sample questions too.

patrickJMT Intro actually introduced me to another channel I might look into now, and yeah I look forward to the upcoming videos. Thanks! 😄
