  • Sky News host Sharri Markson says the “conflict” between the Reserve Bank of Australia and the Albanese government is “historic”.
“We are seeing what is quite a historic conflict, between the RBA and the Albanese government,” Ms Markson said.
“The RBA seeks to take money out of the economy through rate rises, while the government insists on injecting money back into the economy through big spending.”

The RBA are also to blame they deceived Australian public with rates. Stimulus from liberals also contributed to high rates. Rents are also included in inflation which high rates courtesy of the RBA contributes to it. RBA are useless, they are public servants and are not independent bthey work for the good of the country yet 100% of the nation are affected by rent or mortgages they are not truthful in the way to they operate , they don't think a new thought or implement a new idea.

Labor put a policy on their own party members that makes it near impossible to replace the Prime Minister without him resigning himself. As for the Governor sacking the Prime Minister, can't really be done until the Labor Party have no power to run the country. Maybe some smart person could organise a Russian submarine to pick up Albanese off of Sorrento.

It does not reduce the amount in each pay it is an additional amount employers pay on top of wages. So if you increase that amount, where do you think employers will try to recoup that additional expense? Increasing the cost of goods and services?

I have mentioned using the superannuation rate to control inflation because it affects everyone who works. But that was a couple of years ago. I have a new idea now, and banks won't like it.
Make the RBA interest rate pay off the PRINCIPAL of the home loan instead of going to the banks as profits. A loan's interest rate of 6.99% is made up from 2.49% is banks interest and 4.5% is RBA interest. The banks create the money for a home loan out of thin air. The only people who can print money are the banks. The mint prints physical money, but the banks create money using the fractional reserve system. When interest rates are low, it floods the economy with created money from cheap loans, which grows the economy, but causes inflation. When you pay off the principal of a loan, that money disappears to the thin air it came from. If the RBA interest rate loan repayment went to the principal it would remove money from the economy quicker and lower inflation better.

Current government in Australia is in duspute with RBA about state if economy, rightly so, thay have to show leadership and reduce all unnecessary spanding whithin government on all levels including speach writers, PR, etc.
Also , cutting GST a little bit and increse super contribution a little bit could be helpfull to all Australians, especially households with morggiges, definitely.
But major help is energy policy, change target of net zero, go much slow like LNP energy policy, including nuclear as well.
The people of Australia need some form of relief to make ends meat otherwise many negative impications might arise including society disfunction, anymosities, unrest etc, unfortunately.
