Danny I was first introduced to Asian sweets back in the 60s. I have never forget them and how nice they tasted. Fantastic 😊 we have a Asian sweet shop in town and I do tend to treat myself over Christmas. Absolutely 👌 🤗 brilliant. I bet you will get a taste for them👍
When me and my mates go to Mughals we end up paying around £12 each and we are absolutely stuffed! Phenomenal food and exceptional value for 💰 money! Love Danny what a LEGEND!
By far my favourite rate my takeaway video. Looks absolutely incredible. My mouth watered especially after seeing the sweets 😋. The staff look really courteous and friendly. I love the waitresses pronunciation of "coconut".
Dear Danny appitizing episode 😊. It's not only indian food and sweets it's Pakistani restaurant too. Food is the same. Onions bhaji is called Pakoras and sweets were Chamchum and Gulab Jamun. 😊😊
I moved from Leeds to Blackpool when I was 10 years old. The teachers used to get me to read in the class so that the rest of the students could have a good laugh at my accent. I've lost that accent now that's why I love Danny so much. Great story teller
Before First Direct set up in Leeds, they carried out extensive studies on reginal accents and Leeds was judged to be the best as people said it could be understood easier than some really strong regional accents and it was also judged to be an honest and believeable accent - so there you go :)

i think the term spices is a misnomer , because most of the so called 'spices'used are not spicey at all, but they have different flavours and aroma. For example star anise, cardamon, asafoetida , lemon seeds, etc.
@@scottbrandon9390 Utter nonsense. There was no 'India' as we know it when these foods were created, it was just a mass of land inhabited by various tribes who were ruled by Kings.

Danny-Indian sweets are delicious. There is one that looks like an orange pretzel. It is made with gee, corn syrup and corn flakes. There is another one with a coconut cake and served in milk (burfee?) . Another one (Gulab Jamon?) is a donut ball steeped in syrup.
The orange pretzel one is Jalebi (one of the best). If the one served in milk is a white round ball its Ras malai its made of milk as well and some times has pistachio n maybe coconut shavings. Barfi is the one thats dry and can be coconut flavour as well as other flavours too.
Wow. I love that you know the good sweets! Barfi is amazing but I wish you could try it from pakistan, the milk used their is 100% better it just makes the levels so much higher in terms of anything using fruits dairy meat
Food looks fabulous and the shop / cafe / restaurant looks really professional. When I went to Manchester my wife and I tried some of the sweets for the first time from the curry mile area , really sweet as you say but lovely.
I bet your hooked now and go and watch all his vids, its amazing how he get more and more professional throughout the year. If Danny does miss a day my day isnt complete.
My fave Indian sweet is the green one, pistachio.. Gulab jamen is made with beef dripping, rarely for an Indian dish. I recommended ras malai, which is little sweet whitish slippery things, beautiful with mild spices, cinnamon &c. It means "rice milk". Great review Dan!
The gulab jamun cutlets are my fave! Made me laugh when you put the whole thing in your mouth coz they're soaked in syrup and are super sweet! Great vid, Danny 😁

Great review Danny! As always! I do feel, the Mughals restaurant should have done a better job of explaining the traditional Indian Sweets to you, perhaps even letting you do some testing. Instead, of just selling you a box which they pretty much filled up with the same desserts, (Kala jamuns and gulab jamuns). Basically fried balls of dough made from milk solids and semolina and soaked in sweet syrup.
Love the video as always Danny, if you're looking for somewhere new to review can I suggest Bombay Sweet Centre in Nottingham? Top food and great staff in there, I think you'd enjoy it 🙂

Indian food is some of the best in the world. It is spicy but not overly hot. The spice helps bring out the flavor of the meat and vegetables.
