Im 14, i discovered River Flows In You at 11. Tried to learn the Piano. Still failed. So naive that i made River Flows In You as my First Song, i dont even know the Basics. But guess what, I suceed it took me almost 1 Year to Perfect it cuz i got no Teacher. Now im learning new songs including his. I could play May Be but from Middle C. Hehe. Anyway, those who wants to play the piano, just do it. Just DO IT!
I learned piano only 1 half year with teacher , I just took basic level and decided to quit. After that I continue to play at home all by myself year by year and now I can play many of yiruma song like kiss the rain, fairy tale, spring time, I and other pop song. Just learn and never give up, you will be able to play piano beautifully.

Many experiences I've had from past, from losing mother, experienced no father at the time he didn't support us, and being now working student. It's really hard, when I heard and watch this on youtube , I ask my self "All problems will disappear ,even if it's hard to stand out ,it will going to be fine" This piano music really touches my heart 🙂
I’m 23. At 17 I left my country to another where I knew literally no one. It was very hard ! I went to university and after my 18th birthday I found a student job too 😅 now I got my bachelors degree and on my final masters year and with a better job in the same field that I study in university! And also I traveled to 7 countries alone !! I hope that will motivate you to study and work and live your life in a full way !! Ofc many days depression and anxiety hit me but I got up each time !!! 상처나 굳었던 마음을 MAY BE 로 살살 녹여 편안히 녹여 열어주고 KISS THE RAIN 으로 상처를 소독해주고 RIVER FLOWS IN YOU 로 따뜻하게 덮어주는 미친 선곡... ㅜㅜ 9분이 이렇게 짧았나 싶었는데 어느새 가슴은 롤러 코스터를 탄거 마냥 그러네요.. 존경합니다.
역시 이루마님 피아노 악보만 구입해서 연습할땐 뭐 죄다 쉬운곡들뿐이라고 생각했는데 몇해 전 어느 초겨울 세종문화회관 콘서트에 직접 가서 음악 들었을때 엄청난 배신감..... 악보는 초보자용처럼 만들어두시고 모든 곡을 라이브를 포스 폭발하는 편곡으로... 입이 떡 벌어졌습니다...

초딩때 자주듣고 나선 나이먹곤 클래식을 잘 들안들었는데 어느덧 30대 40대가 되니 어릴쩍 생각에 클래식이 자꾸 귓가에 맴돌곤 햇습니다 그래서 일부로 클래식을 다운받아 듣게 됐는데 이루마님 음악도 우연히 다운받아 들었는데 너무 좋고 왠지 눈물도 나고 그러더군요 그냥 감사합니다 오늘도 잘 듣겠습니다. 일본의 유키쿠라모토님보다 훨 좋습니다 훨씬 감동적입니다 사랑합니당
I've been listening to a neighbour playing piano for years. I just tried using Shazam on the balcony and finally found out that they play "River Flows in You". I absolutely love listening to it.
귀에 편안하게 다가오는 이루마님의 곡들로 코로나-19로 지친 마음을 달래는 분들이 현재 전 세계적으로 아주 많은가 봅니다. 뉴에이지 음악이 원래 동양적이고 미니멀리스틱하다는 평가를 자주 듣는 장르이긴 하지만, 한옥에서 연주하리란 생각은 못했는데요! 잔잔하고 부드러운 선율이 한옥 특유의 여유롭고 느린 호흡과 너무나 잘 어울리네요!

Most composers rely on complexity of their pieces, yet yiruma does something more simple and easy to learn YET his pieces can really touch your heart and speak a thousand more than words. Now I know why the call it a masterpiece.

Some people says it's a blessing if you can woke up the next morning. I just received a very sad news that my friend had passed on in his sleep. With no illness I know of and just gone like this. Please cherish your love ones. Take sme time from your busy schedule to visit someone who you may have neglected for a very long time. Do it, do not wait. Reflect while you listen to this beautiful music.
I'm 14 , I've been playing the violin since I was 11 To tell the truth, I learned the violin as an obligation since it was the only instrument available to me. I have a teacher who taught me the violin for 3 years. When I heard Yiruma, I was delighted! i fell in love with the piano, i still like the violin but not as much as the piano, its sound is so relaxing and moving. I wanted to change my instrument but they told me no, if you like an instrument please don't give up and learn to play it! Now I play the piano for 4 months, I still need it since it is without a teacher. cheer up, don't give up!

Dear Yiruma, sometimes I dream you were my piano teacher. I am right now stuck with composing poems. But through all of your music, it has always been my inspiration to become like you. Ever since I've heard of you for my first time, I fell in love on your music. You will always be my inspiration, Mr. Yiruma.
This is magical music. I often found myself sitting around listening to music like this. Then, one day I asked myself "Perhaps I can play the piano and make a song?" I didn't know but I decided to get a piano and try. I started pressing the keys until I came up with around 3 minutes of what sounded good to me. I am happy to say I just uploaded my first piano song to youtube. It is called "Two Moons Apart." I hope someone enjoys my song as much as I enjoy this song :)

When he was playing River Flows in You...gust of wind indicates the rain is coming but the rain stops at its path as it do not want to disturb music of souls... yiruma is probably the best modern piano composer in my opinion he's so underrated!!!
2002년 루마을 팬클럽 가입했을 때 이렇게 유명해질 줄은 생각지도 못했네요. 동시에 이렇게 세계적으로 유명해지다니 왠지 내가 성공한 것처럼 뿌듯하네요. 이제는 세월이 흐른 만큼 예전 20대 때와는 달리 연륜도 느껴지네요

Im 14, i discovered River Flows In You at 11. Tried to learn the Piano. Still failed. So naive that i made River Flows In You as my First Song, i dont even know the Basics. But guess what, I suceed it took me almost 1 Year to Perfect it cuz i got no Teacher. Now im learning new songs including his. I could play May Be but from Middle C. Hehe. Anyway, those who wants to play the piano, just do it. Just DO IT!
I learned piano only 1 half year with teacher , I just took basic level and decided to quit. After that I continue to play at home all by myself year by year and now I can play many of yiruma song like kiss the rain, fairy tale, spring time, I and other pop song.
Just learn and never give up, you will be able to play piano beautifully.

I'm just 17 years old, relating this meaningful piano song. Many experiences I've had from past, from losing mother, experienced no father at the time he didn't support us, and being now working student. It's really hard, when I heard and watch this on youtube , I ask my self "All problems will disappear ,even if it's hard to stand out ,it will going to be fine" This piano music really touches my heart 🙂
I’m 23. At 17 I left my country to another where I knew literally no one. It was very hard ! I went to university and after my 18th birthday I found a student job too 😅 now I got my bachelors degree and on my final masters year and with a better job in the same field that I study in university! And also I traveled to 7 countries alone !! I hope that will motivate you to study and work and live your life in a full way !! Ofc many days depression and anxiety hit me but I got up each time !!! A😅❤

모든 곡을 라이브를 포스 폭발하는 편곡으로... 입이 떡 벌어졌습니다...
그쳐.. 그리고 멜로디도 계속 반복되는데, 그걸 잘 안 살리면 지루해지는데, 그 피아노 치는 능력이 이루마씨 능력인 듯 ㅠㅠ

I love your music, I had your "kiss the rain" played at my husband's funeral showing his life in photo's of him, he loved this tune too. It is beautiful, thank you for such a lovely tune.
Most composers rely on complexity of their pieces, yet yiruma does something more simple and easy to learn YET his pieces can really touch your heart and speak a thousand more than words. Now I know why the call it a masterpiece.

Some people says it's a blessing if you can woke up the next morning. I just received a very sad news that my friend had passed on in his sleep. With no illness I know of and just gone like this. Please cherish your love ones. Take sme time from your busy schedule to visit someone who you may have neglected for a very long time. Do it, do not wait. Reflect while you listen to this beautiful music.
I'm 14 , I've been playing the violin since I was 11 To tell the truth, I learned the violin as an obligation since it was the only instrument available to me. I have a teacher who taught me the violin for 3 years. When I heard Yiruma, I was delighted! i fell in love with the piano, i still like the violin but not as much as the piano, its sound is so relaxing and moving. I wanted to change my instrument but they told me no, if you like an instrument please don't give up and learn to play it! Now I play the piano for 4 months, I still need it since it is without a teacher. cheer up, don't give up!

Dear Yiruma, sometimes I dream you were my piano teacher. I am right now stuck with composing poems. But through all of your music, it has always been my inspiration to become like you. Ever since I've heard of you for my first time, I fell in love on your music. You will always be my inspiration, Mr. Yiruma.
This is magical music. I often found myself sitting around listening to music like this. Then, one day I asked myself "Perhaps I can play the piano and make a song?" I didn't know but I decided to get a piano and try. I started pressing the keys until I came up with around 3 minutes of what sounded good to me. I am happy to say I just uploaded my first piano song to youtube. It is called "Two Moons Apart." I hope someone enjoys my song as much as I enjoy this song :)

군대때 피아노를 정말 잘 치던 선임이 있었습니다 그 선임이 말씀하시던게 생각나네요 음 하나하나 감정을 실어서 처야 한다고 그 선임이 poem 시를 정말 좋아 하시고 전 옆에서 다른 선임이랑 탁구를!!! 어찌보면 절대 다시 못올 추억....

I discovered Mr Yiruma through RUclips. Soulful music, it touches the spirit. No lyrics but something in it is magical.
I first heard him after Twilight came out on cinemas. 12 years later, I still get goosebumps. I always listen to him when I travel. His music helps me sleep especially on a long haul flight. I wish I continued my piano lessons. 😔
The first time i've heard him playing these songs, expecially River Flows, they got me chills immediately. Now listening to them plenty of years later, they bring tears down from my eyes. He plays so good.

When he was playing Kiss the Rain...wind starts a gentle blow and leaves starts dancing...
When he was playing River Flows in You...gust of wind indicates the rain is coming but the rain stops at its path as it do not want to disturb music of souls...
This Music is beyond words till nature behaves amazingly...

When I saw his hair blow in the breeze I realized it was real scenery. He looked like he was starring in his own melodrama! Only his
