I’ve used nocis and found the same, wasn’t that keen on the liquids either. I’ve got quite a few colours but haven’t tried them all. Good thing with this brand I found was that you could order the colours without the liquids although they are normally in sets of 6 x
Those sets of 6 colours (that I’m sure we’ve talked about before 😂) have always been really good. The pastels, the brights, a green set I got…. Lovely powders. Liquids are poop tho 😂
Glitter can be a funny one 🤔 it can be good to use as a beginner because it doesn’t always have to be as neat, but it can be harder to remove. With glitter you want to add a layer of clear dipping powder on top, this makes it more even and the top coat sits nicer on it.
Dear hayley, i love the idea doing my owen nails but IT is a disaster, i did gel to start With , took 6 month to grow off to ‘ healthy nail’ du ring these Time i used every magic opi nail envy vitamin this and that. I watching you for month and thought I start with a cheaper powder set as o n gels I spent over £250 thing one is better than the other, so I bought a cheap one, from SAVIland beautiful powder , top coat is 2:1 base coat too - but bloody hell it is superglue! My fingers glued together, my nails ruined ( only… 5 on one hand) I am thinking to buy another cheaper liquid set as o- or should I just go for the expensive sassy saint? I watched 1000s videos, used to teach art so understand pressure, markmaking etc . I might be mean not to go first for the best you can afford! Just wondering would you recommend any liquid sets only ( no powder) for a beginner as you have such an extensive collection of powders or you still buy sassy saints liquids with other powders ? Thank you
Lavender violets liquids are great, they’re cheap and good to use. Never had a bad experience with them. My 2 favourite top coats are from Glowdip and Dipped Uk, they are more glossy…. But if you’re just trying to get a decent affordable set, get lavender violets. I would still always recommend total beginners get a more expensive brand starter kit but that is mainly for the good level of customer service they will provide for you.
At the risk of sounding too eager for a recent fan I think we’d all like an update on your journey. You said 3 months ago that you lost 3 stone and I am curious 🧐 about how and where you are now. Thanks 🙏
i will probably do a proper update in spring, as it will have been a year since i started my channel 😻 tbh i got bored of making content about weight loss, i didnt take a magic pill, i had therapy to find out why i was overeating in the first place - bit boring but it worked lol
I love your content honest quick and to the point no nonsense! Go Halley 🥳🎉
Glad you enjoyed the video 🥰

I am new to the powder dips. Done two sets of nails so far, 1 went fine then I tried glitter....found it so hard to get it even with the top coat
