It's easy to get caught up with the Jones's. You don't need to spend thousands or go in debt to have fun off road or complete the Georgia Traverse. Does it makes things easier? Of course. With some smart driving and good line picking, you can do this in 2wd without a rear locker. Most times it's actually more dry than this, making it even easier. Enjoy the video and be sure to give it a thumbs 👍.
23 days? Thats a long ass time did you set the premier to the wrong date?
Man I got a 2019 Tacoma Off-Road 2WD, been getting tons of hate for it. But I’m making it work somehow. BTW love the videos I’m from FL too. Can’t wait to see this video!
A friend of mine has a F-150, do you think he will have a hard time with this and Sarah's Creek?
@Paladin 06 no, I've seen regular 4 door cars on this trail.
This is by far one of your best videos
I love your camping and cooking vids but this one takes the cake
Thank you! That means a lot.
glad you had a good time.. the creek looks awesome
Thanks. I love that area.
Seriously brother one of your best vids!!
Thank you so much!
Nice job Katie. Thanks for sharing sir. God bless. Love your channel.
She did great! Thanks for watching!
I love the outdoors and i spend as much time as i can in places with no seevice and.have benifited from buddies having big vechiles. Just never tickled my fancy
Beautiful scenery and awesome content thanks
Thank you Robert!
I really enjoyed this post! I did notice at some point when you or Katie were driving over the rocks and through the mud, I covered my face with my hands and peeked through my fingers. I was so nervous for you! Well done on the trail!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
We are planning to do the Traverse the first week of Nov. Will keep an eye out for this section. As always great video.
Have fun! There's so much to explore around there.
That is a fun way to spend the afternoon. The camping areas that you are probably talking about are National Forest camp grounds.
Can't wait till I get my tacoma... nice video Kevin.
Sick vid! For trails like this if your tires are deflated adequately and you have a decent diff with low gears and all terrain tires hell even MTs you can go lots of places. Throw a rear locker in there and you can go where most stock 4x4s can go. Throw in a winch like you have and oversized tires with maxtrax then you’re on your way. Plus 2WD is much more fun. Just gota rotate tires every 5k as those rears will wear quickly. Love it!
You are right and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I agree 💯. My taco is a 2wd TRD off road version with the factory elocker and I'm surprised by some of the things I can do and go. Eventually I'll have a classic or older 4x4 to play with
@@jkroemer2685 hell yeah nice one mate!
Dang that really looks way better than when I was there 3 months ago. They must have built some of the track up.
They haven't touched a thing. It's been getting worse over the last 9 months.
You sure don't mind beating up the truck. Haha.
Not one bit!
I know he is so inexperienced driving that fast over rocks and mud holes. Your suspension hates you. Also what idiot rides with full tire pressure. Lowering tire pressure makes for a smooth and less bumpy ride which helps make your suspension last longer. He buys all the fancy mods and thinks he’s an expert.
I have to admit I'm an off road poser. My OCD makes my Tacoma a 100% just for the off road look. I have no shame. I enjoy watching the videos all the same.
Thanks for watching! I don't off road as much as I used to.
I live near there we go up it all the time
That's awesome!! I have a R51 Pathfinder with a 3inch lift and 33s but it is a 2wd, do you recommend going through this trail?
You should have no issue if it's dry.
I really want to do this with my 03 Ford Expedition. It’s the Eddie Bauer model. I have good AT tires. my worry is after many winters driving in NY and driving on the beach on Long Island I’ve got a
Good amount of rust. Afraid something important will break and I will get stuck
Rust is a big issue unfortunately.
👍👍👍
it's more fun overlandig with 2wd, 2wd overlander here
It really is. It makes the simplest things challenging.
Where did you get on the trail and where did you exit for this section? Also, would a full size truck fit?
You can enter or exit off 76 or Persimmon road.
A full size truck will fit no problem.
When are you coming up I might do that trail with you I live right down the road from there. Are you bringing you’re wr
I won't be back up until December.
Think a lightly lifted 03 Aviator and locker with AWD can make it through?
Yes.
Great tacoma
Do you think a stock jku would make it through that?
Of course!
its a shame so many good trails become ridiculous due to RZRs and people not airing down. Thats hwy most people get stuck IMO and then make the next person even more likely
Man truck took some abuse on this one due to trying to do it in 2wd. Definitely an area I want to get to soon.
That poor truck, the 4x4 is still broken.
Did you end up figuring out the fix? im guessing you gotta take it to a mechanic
The lights on the dash went away. But I haven't taken it to a mechanic.
Wonder if your 4WD actuator just needs to be taken apart and resoldered
We took that apart and it wasn't the problem.
Time to sell the truck and buy a second gen then 😝
Never! I hate those interiors.
Too bad you can’t lock the rear in 2wd like you can in the non 4x4’s OR’s. Wow 2wd did great.
I love mudflaps on my Tacoma as well.
I haven't looked to see if there is a mod for that. There was one for my old Rubicon and I could lock the rear anytime.
Benefit of an air locker...lock any time
I've been through there a thousand times, I'm finding a hard time believing you did that side road in 2wd. I've seen several vehicles stuck in 4wd in there.
It was easier than I thought. But the road is getting worse.
Where did your instagram go?
It's gone for a little while. Had to go secret squirrel. I have another account that's Kamping_With_Kevin
Needs driver mod
🤣🤣🤣
What happen to your Instagram?

*honks horn with face*
I thought it was a jeep thing. Guess it's a toyota thing too!
Also, 2wd with fully inflated chinese off brand mud terrains. Be specific 🤣
Can't make too many people mad in one video lol
Toyota's arent made like they use to be
They are pretty close. Minus the computers and sensors.
Wow I thought Tacoma’s were reliabke
They are. Except mine. Lol
Just don't get them wet
@@OverlandFlorida hahaha okay man!
Why are you driving so fast? Slow down and enjoy the ride...
I'm driving fast because I only have 2wd and the road is very steep. I need the momentum.
Well I guess I'm going to sell my TJ Rubicon and buy a 2WD Toyota.
Haha!
I know he is so

But what was the end result? We had fun and made it.
It's scary to watch him going that fast...I mean just listen to all that creaking sound coming from his vehicle
