  • My buddy Matt from Michigan came down to hang out for a few days so of course we had to go have some fun pushing out trucks to see what they are capable of.

I’ve got a stock expedition. Has 4 high and 4 low. Stock Besides some falken wildpeak at3 tires. I used to driver her all the time on the beach. Between that and the northern winters she’s picked up some rust. I’m afraid the flex from the holes would break something haha. As much as I’d like to go there I might pass for now. Maybe do some of the other sections.

I don’t think you’d have any problems now. They graded the worst of it. It’s now just a beautiful drive with a couple fun creek crossings!

I liked did you have the coordinates of the second camping spot ??

Well done! I just did a small portion of the GA Traverse last week on the back end of it (south of the Cherokee Nat'l Forest as part of the TAT) but plan on hitting more of the Traverse this summer in my 4Runner. Where are those waterfalls at 11:25? Those trails running alongside the creeks are the best!

This was a great vid! My two year old has been watching camping videos and just keeps saying, “papa, camping!” That second spot looks awesome. Where was that?

That’s cute! Hopefully you’ll be able to get out there with them soon.
So, that’s a great question. I usually mark my campsites on Gaia, but apparently I didn’t mark this one. It was after we completed Charlie’s Creek RD, but before we hit Alabama. I’ve been looking over the maps trying to remember exactly where it was so we could go back. So far, I’m not sure.

Looking good! I noticed the vent panel for the jackery isn't on. Did you take it off for better ventilation? I was wondering if you had enough during your build video. Any other upgrades to the starboard/acm panel cabinets? I'm planning my design now and it's similar.

Noticed that huh? We actually had to shorten the boxes just a bit to have the vent panel in place. So far no problems with heat.
Nothing major has changed. We did add a 16 gallon water tank and propane hot water heater to the front of the bed. When I finish the box around the tank I’ll do an update video.

@@ScenicCityAdventures I can't wait to see it! And good to know on the ventilation. You have a great build :) Thanks

Is the orange taco automatic? We’re you in low gear when flexed?

Yep and I don’t recall. I think I was in low when I had it flexed out.

Sucks Charlies creek is nothing but a rough dirt road now. So sad used to be a fun trail.
