I was going to test dual 2070 Supers with NVlink, but I just realized my second x16 slot is only x4 from the chipset. OOPS! I also want to test the two 3060s I have, as well as 3070s in a triple card rig if I can get ahold of an older Threadripper system.
A2000. I was also thinking of swapping out my E5 2650 v4 out for the 2650L v4 to try and make the lowest power PoUW I can. Just from the point of view of minimising power usage when mining, but providing a very useful machine when being utilised. I have 32Gb of memory which leaves me with 2 available slots. Not sure what to do with storage. My 2 options are getting a much larger nvme with a HDD, using the NVME for i just for booting and using a PCIe NVME Decisions decisions. What are your thoughts?
Awesome, been waiting for this video, have the same workstation sitting around, had bought to mine chia. Will be duplicating your build, what did the upgrade cost?
I am wondering a lot if 3070 or A4000 would be better for PoUW. Because that 16GB mem on A4000 can be a huge deal for "non mining" part. Do you have any details about this idea?
Can you make a video or refer to how much a rig like this can make in flux ?

Nice video on the pouw for flux, got a question (maybe a noob-one) but - how (and if its possible) do I change the directory of the fluxcore data-storage location? Im on windows and currently fluxcore is filling up my C: drive as it stores it all in appdata directory. Need some tips if someone managed to change the directory on fluxcore ;)
hey mate, just thought should let you know, your video just played ad from that dirty ripple scam with the ia video saying to send ripple to recieve double. just thought you should know as you most likely do not want to be resposible for someone losing money.
"Useful" work is just a new buzz word, sounds to me like a new masternode system, the customizability of these servers will simply allow for new functionality, indepedant from the original network. If its not for security, you'll probably end up hosting cloud services like VPNs and rendering. While that market is expected to grow, the existing market is saturated since there's already a lot hardware, particularly gpus laying around.
PoUW is a consensus mechanism designed to replace the extensive use of hash functions with tasks that offer tangible real-world benefits. In PoUW, the network's computational power is harnessed to solve complex real-world issues, such as optimizing company logistics or event scheduling. This approach results in PoWs whose completion not only avoids energy wastage but also proves beneficial in solving practical computational problems.
This would have been very useful if you showed the software install. Just skipping to its up and running didn’t help. I already know how to build a computer ;-)
Power use is problem again… and Flux does not pay very much we all know. So I like to know haw many coins this thing will make me and if the 12 days kick you back in the line is also active like on the Flux Nodes? Or maybe some other penalty because it’s more like proof of work…
It’s a coin that can be centrally manipulated by the party that created it. Its an unregistered security. It drops 90% on dips because large holders dump on the little guy. They get rich, holders get wrecked. Thats a scam shipcoin. You’ll figure it out in time. Buy whatever you like.
What GPU are you thinking of using in your First Flux POUW Rig?
RTX 5090 lol 😂

All I have are amd cards...
I'm thinking 🤔 about using my 4090 or 2 4090. Concern I don't have enough memory. I only have 128GB ram

Hi why did you remove the original 10 pin? Curious why you needed the replacement
Hey some content that isn't copy pasta! And flux is great, so I appreciate this
Glad you enjoy it!
@TheHobbyistMiner
Did you do any video on using unminable in hive OS?
Awesome, been waiting for this video, have the same workstation sitting around, had bought to mine chia. Will be duplicating your build, what did the upgrade cost?
Man Thanks for this amazing flux PoUW video 🙏🙌❤️... soon make my first PoUW rig with RTX 3060ti...

Is VRAM that important? I've seen better benchmarks on 3070s than 3060s with very similar hardware
Is Xeon is better than Ryzen or Epyc ?
I don't understand this thing. what is the difference with flux pow ? efficiency ?

I am using a pci x16 to 4x nvme adapter in my second x16 slot now.. this machine supports nvme boot but doesn’t come with any slots 😉
Thank you, waiting Fluks new.
You're welcome 😊
D9 vs L7 which is best to buy today

Hey man, do you know if pouw will be available on hiveos?
I believe when they hit Beta I'd what I am hearing
The blue TVM cables look great in there!
Lots of compute!

How much did that rig cost to build ?
You can get them to 256 gb ram
How much money can you make a day doing this?
Hello can you give me the motherboard support so that I can print it thank you
flux 10$ 30$ 🌋🌋 2025 sure
Two cards run wayyyy too hot in that machine… I tried it with two 3060 v1s
these thumbnails...😂
Idk. I dont think Flux is the answer.
Kaspa is the real deal.
POUW makes no sense to me.

Good choice!
You could've used Linux and you went for Windows? good grief man. Why?
Wanted to show Windows as I know several other content Creators doing Linux guides.
first
Second!
Wasting time on this….😊 just opinion
0.001/hr ? really ? so what is a point of mining with this
Flux is a scam
Please elaborate
Agreed.. or bullishness… past time
please elaborate, I would love to know as well
