- Seed ball making machine developed by my team in Bangalore. It can produce 9,000 seed balls. A seed ball is a clay ball made with soil and compost and a tree or shrub seed ball. When water touches the seed balls they will break open and the plant will sprout. 10% will survive. We plan to make a million seedballs and scatter in them in catchment areas near Mumbai. Wish us luck.

Please invest into a proper cable plug. Also decrease the speed somehow. It seems that your seedballs are not growing due to the rotational speed.

At first glance, I thought this was a video demonstrating how to make Expanded Clay balls (for use in Aquaponics/Hydroponics), and I was asking myself how you'd plan on baking the balls while they spun, but then after you picked one out and I read the description, I realized that these were clay balls with a seed inside. Great innovation, mate! Kinda disappointed in myself for not reading the description and title beforehand, but that one's on me! Keep up the good work!
Haha! So was i! but actually im thinking of using the same method to make clay balls and transport them , and hire a kiln at a local factory where they sieve iron tools, Hope that gets the job done real cheapest, than i can think of!

Great idea, I saw this video when I was looking for easy method to make clay balls ..
The inner walls of the drum could be made a bit rough by sanding, this might actually make it more effective.. 👍🏻

Any update for 2018??????? Very smart! We'll be in Native seeds bomb production hopefully by Valentine Day.. ,making our machine from recycle parts now... Got my hands really muddy today!! Fun, then got cold hands....need better gloves. Love to hear updates on your process.. Happy New Year!
i have planted thousands of trees using seed balls made by hand, your machine dont seem to do the job, so i''ll share with you an idea that you can apply to make them prior to let them into the barrel, you start in a high place with clay and let a smal trickle of water run trough down a half pipe of pvc or bambo, the balls start forming. after a while you let them run trough seeds and continue downhill till the get into the barrel that is sloped to let them out onto a drying mat, of course you'll have to perfect the idea happy trees!! excuse me if i am wrong and your barrel does the job...

Collect dates seeds and directly throw on sides of roads, they will grow into date palm trees. You know dates seeds have high germination rate, all the seeds will grow into palm trees .Please spread this idea on your channel.Thank you.
Dimensions of machine, belt diameter, is that adjustable? Belt have 2 wheels in side, drum supported by 5 wheels I think.... Motor capacity,?

Corey Green hello i mix different kinds of seeds in potting soil wet it slightly and press into numerous old ice cude trays to freeze..when im driving to town i empty trays of frozen soil in a big stainless bowl and put beside me when driving to town..if i see a safe place that wont be mowed by the state..i will toss a frozen dirt cube on it.. ive seen my efforts growing along the roads etc...very lil effort and no problem especially when its your own HomeGrown seeds..Johnny Apple Seed did it ..stay safe
