@@samy-yamum I've never seen him play, but my father has told me many great things about him. It would be ignorant to say that players like Yashin, Pelé, Cruyff and Diego aren't all time greats, therefore I listen to the people that have seen them play and try to be as openminded as possible.

React to Jorge Campos, he was short as hell but a great keeper and he would run out the box taking players on and even giving assists, he also played as a striker sometimes. Some matches he even played 45 min as a keeper and 45 as a striker. His saves were outrages as well

To me the best keepers ever are: Neuer, Casillas, Buffon, Zoff, Oliver Kahn in no particular order. I would also put Yashin there but I never seen him play so I can't really make that judgment 🤷🏼♂️
I would drop Casillas from that list because longevity. I understand tho why he is in your list because his peak was arguably higher than anyone elses. You can blame Mourinho or his wife about end of his career. (I would blame himself)

Obviously every goalkeeper also has to have good ball control for any situation, but Neuer's going out almost to the middle of the field is cold blooded
There are some really chilling scenes where he almost stays at the middle line and even plays in the opposite teams half when Germany was about to loose a match in a World Cup or EURO.
If there is nothing to lose and Germany has to go on full attack, Neuer is pretty much another midfielder.
Can't remember a match where that worked out though - I even remember the opposite team (I believe it was Korea) making a goal into an keeperless goal because Neuer was still playing midfield...
But that drive to help the team is amazing.

Before neuer become a goalkeeper he was playing on field ! That’s why he knows much more then other goalkeepers
Here is a fact you might not know about Neuer, he was a midfielder and got injured, they inserted two metal bars in both his knees, he has been playing as a GK with 2 metal bars in his two knees up till now , and he said that it still hurts him after every game !

If your talking all time Neuer in my opinion is top 6 or 7 I would put Yashin,Buffon,Zoff,and Iker Casillas above him.Then Van Der Sar, Schmeichel,Kahn,and Cech around the same level as him.

De gea hasn’t been picked for his national for many years now. Plus he is a old school keeper not good with his feet and playing out the back and doesn’t really come out his box(sweeper keeper) but he is the best shot stopper. Ter Stegen has always been the #2 goalkeeper for the international team behind Neur.
