Hi Elise from NC! I'm Lise from Quebec! I'm so happy to have found your channel! You have given me the amigurumi bug again after watching your beautiful crochet and knitted animals and dolls. About 5 years ago I crocheted Sharon Ojala's Dress Me Up Bunnies (boy, girl and clothing) for my granddaughters and had really enjoyed making them. I'm more into knitting these last few years but, now that I have received books 1 and 2 of Pica Pau, I will choose one of these delightful animals to crochet once I finish the shawl I'm knitting right now. Thanks again Elise!

I bought one of the Green Frog patterns a few weeks ago, the sweet girl in the pink dress with the bunny ears! I learned to crochet a variety of afghans with my roommate back in college (like 15-18 years ago 😅), but only started making amigurumi in January, so I'm still pretty new. I've made about 5 projects so far and have been happy with how they have all turned out so far. I've had to do reading and RUclips videos to refresh my general skills, which has been helpful. I am going to make a few more projects to continue developing my skills and knowledge and then I'm gonna tackle the green frog doll pattern! Yours turned out so well!
I just found your channel today, but already found some helpful information in just a few videos! 😊

    Hi Elise
Thank you for sharing this was a fabulous video... I loved them all! I thought the mia doll had kitty Kat ears 😂 she is so cute though, so is the Tommy doll.
I also love AmigurumiToday they have wonderful patterns too. The others are very new to me. But those worry dolls are so cute I think I’ll make some as I have lots of scrap yarn to use in 2023, goal is to use and not buy until I’ve use most of it. 🙏🏼🤞🏼
That dressmakers mannequin is so inspired, I definitely want to start with making that it would definitely be handy for my budding doll clothes designs.

Hello Elise, my name is Melinda and I live in New Bedford, MA a whaling city. Your RUclips channel showed up in my feed, and I have been binge watching all of your videos since 2/20 which came at a great time for me b/c I sew handbags and have an etsy store, and frankly I'm a little burned out. Your toys are just so classy and detail oriented and watching your channel is so informative. I have looked at toy patterns a while ago, but to me they were just so so. But the patterns you suggest are just so beautiful! I purchased the Mia Doll pattern and ordered the listed yarn but it's coming from Wool Warehouse in the UK b/c Lovecrafts didn't have all of the colors. I am having a hard time waiting for the yarn, but have recently started studying hand embroidery and working on my first project, which will come in handy with this Amigarumi doll. I do crochet, last project was a Schweepjes (sp?) blanket CAL from 2021. and I also knit, currently working on Berocco's Summer Sesame yarn, etta pattern. Your wool suggestions I may try in the future only b/c I know cotton yarn has no give to it and it may be a strain which I know you talked about. I just love your channel. Please keep up the beautiful work and designing!

Late to comment because I was snowtubing with friends earlier today, but I love that little fox girl! She's adorable! I may just have to wing making one myself, though I'd probably not to detachable clothes, because while they're great, they're a pain to make.
The Waldorf-style ones, I looked up at the screen as you had the bit of scrolling through their stuff, and I saw they have a hedgehog pattern! That made me so happy because hedgehogs are my favorite animal. I may have to attempt a pattern again. (Maybe.)
Favorite doll I've made . . . That's a tough one. But definitely up there is the Van Gogh doll I made that's based on a Doctor Who episode when the Doctor and Amy go back and meet Van Gogh.

I recently found your videos. I am obsessed! I have been watching all your tips with crocheting. I came across this video and saw the Mia doll. My son lost his daughter and her name is Mia. I want to make this doll for him. I asked him what colors he wanted the baby blanket to be. He wanted the colors that were in his baby quilt that his grandmother (my mom) made for him. (He called his blanket “Heartbeat Blanket”. He was in and out of the hospital as a baby and a toddler. He had a wonderful pediatrician that actually let him use his stethoscope to hear his own heartbeat. The blanket he carried everywhere had little hearts on it. So he called it heartbeat.)I would love to use those colors in the doll’s outfit. Is there a way to get a free pattern or a video? I know this doll would really mean a lot to him.

Just 3 days ago I purchased a pattern, and after I received it, I saw a note from the designer that you are not allowed to sell the finished product. Etsy sent a note to rate the pattern, and I said it is well written and all that, but the designer must put that not selling the finished product in her notes before purchase.
