One thing that I'm finding in these videos (not just this one) is that if you use Concepts for note taking / journaling, you're going to run into vector-based issues with the erase tool. If you use the erase tool on your notes, the erased vector data goes into some kind of magical hole (hidden layer or something), when you go to select them to replicate, move, etc you will pick up all of the erased vector data as well. You need to use the slice tool in order to actually erase vector data, since this isn't a traditional "writing" application. Maybe you cover that in another video, but just an FYI.
La opcion de borrado es una mascara solamente, a mi solo me gustaria que tuviese la opcion de texto y el zoom infinito como opcion o editable. Pero en si la aplicación es increíble.
Hey Dough, thanks so much for the great video which made me start using Concepts as well. What I was wondering: With software/program do you use in order to have yourself speaking in the bubble on the side and still show the concepts suface while working on it live. Kind regards, Nikki
Tap on the Layers icon, make sure you're on Automatic Sorting, then tap and hold to drag the Highlighter layer below the pen layer. concepts.app/en/ios/manual/layers
As a painting software, clipping masks and layer blending modes should be the most basic functions. But the software still hasn’t improved after so many years. How do developers think about it?
Hi. I made a ONE-time purchase only. I'm a student and I can't afford to make a monthly nor yearly subscription. I mainly want to use concepts for note taking in school coz I love the infinite canvas. However, I don't have the highlighter and other tools that you have. Would you please give me ideas, tips, video tutorials on how I would be able to use the features for NOTE TAKING that is available for the one time purchase only. Thank you
I've personally used Microsoft whiteboard for notetaking which has MUCH less features than Concepts, and I can tell you pretty confidently that while what this guy does is really visually nice and great for presenting information, you can absolutely make effective notes without the features he uses. Simply switching to a different colour to differentiate topics and underlining or increasing pen size instead of highlighting will be effective in making something stand out. When it comes to these features, focus less on the features themselves and more on their purpose, and then you can find a way to achieve that purpose with a different feature or method.
Fantastic informative video! Please consider less frequent use of that thing you do at the end of many of your sentences where you over emphasize the final few syllables

This was a really helpful video. Useful detail for setting up Concepts.

Thank you for this video much appreciated, you clearly explain thank you, GOD BLESS
Really helpful video sir. Thank you
Does anyone know how to change the setting so that the highlighter goes under the pen? Mine goes over and the color drowns out the pen. Thanks.

”So here you can edit your brush"
Cries in Android version..
and I didn't realize that till just now... 😢😭
Interesting video. I have to say though, Concepts has the least comfortable and natural ink system i've ever used in an app with stylus support yet.
Hi, I’m looking for an app that can smooth out my writing and drawing due to issues with my hands, do you have anything you can suggest?
