Hi Cathy!! I poured half and half in my coffee!!! You are so right about that quilt. Thank you for a wonderful visit to QuiltCon. And thanks for reading every description. The sharecropper quilt made me gasp. Please thank the editor for capturing the quilts discussed so beautifully. ❤

I was there also. My sister joined me on Friday. We both would go up to a different quilt and say "Wow"! Each one was amazing. I read that over 2000 quilts were entered and 481 were chosen in this juried show. The talent is incredible. And I also read the information about each quilt. That brings it alive. I enjoyed seeing them again through your eyes.
That's so wonderful!❤️ Paul and I had a similar experience--some I loved, some he loved, and some we both loved! The talent and skill represented in the quilts there was staggering, and inspiring! 🤩 And thank you---we learned so much doing the video at QuiltCon; I think next year's video will be even better!
What a weird or random thing for me to comment on but I couldn't help but notice how many quilts you stood next to - complimented your outfit and vice-versa. Best in Show quilt, Miss Make's quilt, the 'purple shirt' quilt, coffee and cream quilt... and on and on. I think the fact that you wore solids - you didn't 'compete' with the quilts on display. Great video work, Paul. I was so tickled for you each time you saw a subscriber - I can just imagine how thrilled you each were for that experience. I'll be watching this again as I really enjoyed this.
Oh my goodness, thank you Mary Beth! ❤️ I WAS thrilled to meet viewers/my people! I didn't expect anyone to know me at all---each time I was excited and surprised! 😂😍 So glad you enjoyed the video!

Thank y'all so much for sharing your trip to Quiltcon! I loved seeing the quilts that y'all found the most interesting because I love your eye for color and texture. Thank you Paul for taking really nice close ups of the quilts. All of the handwork was so amazing! Cathy, I felt the same way when I first tried a long arm last fall at the Sewing Expo. I've picked out the one I want already, with a small footprint, and it's just a matter of time. The texture on the quilts from the quilting just inspires me even more! Have a great week!
Thank you, Michelle! 😘 There were so many that I just loved beyond words that we didn't even get on camera! 😱 And yes, I'll share you appreciation to Paul--he did a fantastic job. (he loves the quilting part too and it SHOWS.😂) I'm excited for you to get a longarm quilt machine--who knew it would be so much FUN?!
Wow! Couldn't believe when video was over. It was sooo captivating! I had to laugh because I was having my coffee watching this and when you got to the coffee and cream quilt I did laugh. I am not a lover of brown tones but that quilt was stunning! I bet it was sooo hard not to touch and stroke those beautiful quilts. I am such a tactile person that they would have had to tie my hands behind my back to keep me from doing just that! Lol. So happy you got to enjoy that experience. Bet you had a BLAST! ❤️🥰🤗

Oh wow, the best video from QuiltCon, really felt like we were there with you, loved the coffee and cream quilt, and loved your outfit too, love a well matched handbag 😂😂
Thank you for the tour!. I go to the one near my house, in Lakeland florida every year. I love to wander around. I spend the day all by myself. No kids no husband, and have such a good time. Thanks again, see you next time! Much love, Laura
Best quilt show video I've seen. I feel like I visited without the sore feet :). Typically I pass on these videos as theyare all walking and breeze by the quilts. While they leave you with an impression of the show, I have no sense that I have really appreciated the quilts. Thank you so much for the lovely camera work and thoughtful descriptions of what you saw and sharing it with the rest of us.
Oh I did enjoy that. Nice to see some recognisable RUclipsrs submitting their work. Possibly you next year? I'm really inspired by the ideas when mixing hand quilting with machine quilting on the same piece of work. And who wouldn't want to play on a long arm machine? Thanks for sharing this.

I loved that hand-quilting and machine-quilting mix too--it feels like it opens up possibilities for some creativity and freedom to explore! PS the longarm quilting machine was SO FUN! 🥰
What a thrill to wake up to a live quilt show! Here in NY we had about 6 inches of white stuff they call snow. Before I trudge outside to dig out I am sipping my Catbird Coffee “latte” as I dream of my own “Coffee and Cream” fabric blend. Wonderful and amazing quilts. Thank you for filming your trip there. … back to the snow now … ugh!!
I was going to skim through this, but your engaging personality and naturalism kept me for the entire video. I love how you do 'just do you'. As a (former?) performer, and budding artist, that's the most difficult skill to own. That's your superpower! So appreciated. PS. You should definitely challenge yourself to do the most negative space piece, you can design.
Kylie, it was just amazing---I would think, "This one is SOOOO beautiful" and then turn the corner and think, "No, THIS one is SOOO beautiful!" And it's because they all are!!
You met one of my favorite longarm quilters, Jodi Robinson from Gammill. She is so talented. Next time I see her, I'll say, "You met one favorite RUclipsrs, The Cat Bird Quilts!"
I am so glad that you and Paul got to attend Quilt Con 2023...love your teamwork. . I miss mine so much. I meant to comment on the last 2 videos (plaid experiment and your 10K subscribers) but... The plaid one..... My thought was "anchor" (pronounced on-core hoping spelling is accurate😜) ... Who thinks these ideas up but you and I love it! Congrats on reaching 10K....i found you when I needed to know how to put together a men's shirt quilt..... Must've been a God thing. I'm still working on my first shirt quilt.... Wish I had more time to quilt but.... Thank you for sharing about Quilt Con. The process of quilting is such a gift! I'm grateful to have found you and Paul.... You make beautiful videos together. ❤️👏❤️
Thank you, Meyrick! I'm so glad to have you with me here on YT--I am thankful for these meaningful connections, too! (and consider them very Providential!)
Thank you for doing this video! These quilts are inspirational and gets the creative process moving for me. (That does not always mean I get anything done!)
Oh, Cathy! I wasn’t ready for your video to be over. Can we have a part two? Really enjoyed going along with you to QuiltCon. Thank you for your thoughts! ❤
Dana, when we were there we really didn't keep track of the quilts that I commented on (on video) and had no idea how much footage we had---when we got home and reviewed the footage, Paul said, "Next time I'll just turn the camera on when we walk in the door and let it record everything!" 🤩 There was so much more I wanted everyone to see! 😱❤️
Many thanks to you and Paul, Cathy, for taking us along to QuiltCon! I loved every minute of your video -- so well done, and you covered so many different quilts. What a treat!
Wonderful video of QuiltCon. Thanks for sharing the fun with us. It was amazing to see so many beautiful quilts and to see you enjoy it so much. Loved the purple shirt booth. 👔
Oh oh ooooh awh oooh....wow....can you hear us all, as we admire the work?!! Thank you so very much for sharing this with us. Each piece of work had such a different soul. Beauty captured in fabric. Loved it!!
I recently discovered your channel and you're already one of my favorite quiltubers! Thank you so much to put all those efforts in sharing personal stories and experiences. I truly feel connected to your creative journey! 😊
99% of the quilts I would not even try to make. I just don't have the creative spark in my brain. It was sure fun to look at them, though. It was fun to watch you get so excited over the quilts and your turn at the quilting machine!! Thanks to you and Paul for sharing!
@@InMyQuietudeI have never been to one, but was thinking about it. Have you been to one before? It seems to be more sewing, will a quilter enjoy it? Hope your recovery is going well, I have a herniated disc and just saw the surgeon yesterday, he did not advise surgery for me at this point.
****Cathy, I follow many content creators and some of them went to Atlanta this year. They made videos and posted them on their channels. I have to say that I enjoyed yours the most. It wasn’t hurried or crazy and I felt like I was there with you just wandering around peacefully. These venues can be loud and hard to follow, but you made it not only enjoyable, but took your time to look at the stitching, quilting styles and magic of these creations. Thank you for taking me along and as usual I felt like your friend exploring together!! You are my muse.****
Thank you for sharing! WOW! I now have the QuiltCon bug! That is a trip I want to take. The beauty and talent to behold! I can imagine that if you are in a slump creatively this will get your Sew-Jo moving again! Again, thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you so much for the QuiltCon Tour. As a newbie, I’ve never heard of this. I’m thinking I need to start making plans to attend in the future. The quilt artworks are Amazing! Definitely got my creative juices flowing.
OMG!!! You were at QuiltCon??? I was there also. It would have been exciting to run into you. Such an exciting show to be at. Loved all the quilts and the vendors.
Oh I wish we had crossed paths---I was floored that anyone knew who I was, and was thrilled to meet the few wonderful women who introduced themselves!! The beauty and artistry of the quilts makes me speechless (a tough thing to do! LOL)🥰❤️
@@TheCatBirdQuilts they all had me in awe as well. As a really new quilter, it was wonderful to be inspired by it all. I am still try to find my quilt voice. So many beautiful examples presented!
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video, and I have to say that it is the best video that I have seen of a quilt show. I have gotten a ton of inspiration from your videos, and I just found your channel about a week ago. I guess that I have binged a bit! Thank you and Paul for doing what you do. I am a retired RN, but I have been a seamstress or sewist 🧵🪡😁since my mother and her mother introduced me to needle and thread at about the age of 8.
LOL! I DID have fun, but I will say crowds are not my thing---and even though the vendor booths were creative and had great products and examples for inspiration, that environment isn't conducive to shopping for me!! 😱 But, there was so much to see and I was shocked and amazed our whole time there---that part WAS fun! ❤️
Thank you, Laura!❤️ The description is a glimpse inside the mind of the quilter and their inspiration and decision-making--and THAT is as interesting as the quilt, in my opinion! 🥰
I so appreciate your tour. Steady camera work and your wonderful description and analysis is awesome! Thanks….one of these days I’ll go! (And maybe even enter!!!!) XO
You want to know what's great?! Your quilts aren't beside those quilts (and thank God neither are mine) so they don't look pitiful, and you don't have to feel like you are less than! Keep making your quilts---I promise you they are beautiful to the people who receive them, and that's all that matters. ❤️
Very happy to get the Quilt Con tour. I always have to read all the info in a display too. I have also been following Karen Brown of Just Get It Done Quilts trip to QuiltCon. I hope you have a chance to meet her and talk with her. Thanks for the video, Cathy!
Beth, I would LOVE to meet Karen and talk to her---in any context!! She has forgotten more about quilting than I have ever known! 🤓 So glad you enjoyed our little highlights tour---thanks for watching! ❤️
Thank you, Cathy! I think you make everything fun! It’s hard to imagine all the time and work that went into those quilts! I appreciate a tour of some of these beautiful quilts! Do I see a long arm quilt machine in your future?
I hope you saw Samuel Uzoma’s portrait quilt (I chipped in to sponsor his trip from Nigeria) and also the Social Justice Sewing Academy banners (I worked on one banner last year.) So fun! Thanks for taking us along!
I DID see the Social Justice Sewing Academy banners and I believe his portrait quilt! So amazing! (but I'll be honest, there were so many quilts that a lot of them are a blur!) Next time we'll stay longer, and film more!! ❤️
So many beautiful Quilts! Thanks for sharing your visit. Could you please share the name of the vendor you spoke with about the purple shirt. They had a vibrant HST quilt displayed and fabric packs to make it. Thanks Cathy and Paul ♥
@@TheCatBirdQuilts thank you Cathy ❤️ Crimson Tate are now in my favourites on IG! I just wish postage wasn't so expensive because their range of fabric is gorgeous! I realised too that the beautifully coloured quilt (in the solid colours) on display is a pattern I already had! It's the Postcards from Sweden quilt. I'm such a dill 😂
The pen microphone at the end cracked me up. I had you playing while I was attempting to sew but I kept having to turn my head to see all the beautiful quilts. Needless to say I did not get any sewing done during this video. Thanks for sharing.
...well this was the best thing I've seen all day. 😁 Y'all make a fanTAStic team, and it made this such a pleasure to watch. Thank you!! I'd love to see the entire Milky Opal quilt! My GoogleFu has failed me, but it is soooooo scrumptious. It's the poster child for why I voted for the linen-and-linen wedding quilt. Timeless! But then, ALL OF THEM were so good. Eeeeeeeeee! Cackling at the pen microphone because I know I would do the same!
Thank you, Steff! And yes, that Milky Opal quilt was amazing---and you would have loved it! ❤️ We learned so much this year---next year we'll get so much more on film! 🥰
I’ve never been to any kind of quilt expo other than the Kentucky State Fair. I’m seriously considering going to Paducah Quilt Show this year though. After watching your QuiltCon video, I really want to go.
Go to the Paducah Quilt Shooooow! One year I was coming home from a working "road trip," was so bummed and had a rough weekend. My route took me through there and I decided I needed that. It did not disappoint.
Thank you for this, I felt like it was a wonderful look inside some of the beautiful works of fiber art on display. Also great camera work, you were able to walk and talk while the camera focused on the art. Continued success!
Thank you for this video. I'm unable to go to see a Quilt Show like that and it's amazing. Our Quilt Exhibition here in Germany are so much different just the way the quilts are presented and we have no ribbons. Many greetings 😃
Thank you for sharing your favorite quilts! So nice to get a peek at quilt con when attendance ourselves isn't possible. My total favorites were the quilts you showed by Audrey Esarely, Caroline Hadley, and Lorena Uriarte. I guess what this means is that I'm getting really into curved quilt designs which - sighhh poor meeee, guess I have to learn a new technique!
I must admit I’m a little bit jelly of you right now😂. What an amazing experience!!! Thanks for sharing your experience with us. So many amazing quilts! I’m glad you got to experience the long arm quilting. I am patiently waiting for my husband to give me a green light for one, or I should say I am slowly working on him to agree 😅!!! 6:03 I was happy to see the “Swedish Postcards” quilt on the left. I made one of those and gave it to my German “sister “ last year. It’s so vibrant and stunning. It reminded me of the store Pylones which are located throughout Europe. She loves their colorful kitsch-y (sp?) items so it reminded me of her. The creativity in quilting is amazing, I am so proud to be a part of this community ❤!
Oh I loved that quilt SO much---SO vibrant and happy! ❤️ Don't be jelly--it was also crowded and loud and overwhelming. 😉 Just think of that instead and you'll immediately be glad that you got to stay home and sew. 😂 The longarm quilting was surprisingly fun! I see why people get into it now!
I watched your thrift store shirts video from last week and then my Mom and I went to goodwill Saturday. I found 3 XXL men's shirt for half off. Two purple and one blue for $2.25 each. My goodwill is $4.49 regular price. Your right I could never have bought fabric for that cheap. Oh and this video what beautiful quilts. What fun!!!
You totally scored at your Goodwill! How wonderful! 🤩 Gorgeous fabric for $2.25? Yes please! 🤓😊 The quilts at QuiltCon were just so stunning and inspirational---next year we'll stay longer and film more!
Wow! Looks like fun. Thanks for showing some of the beautiful works of art. I had no idea there was such a thing as Quiltcon. Next year it's in Raleigh. I may just have to plan to attend.
Impressive modern quilt collection. I enjoyed your closeups and commentary. A steady camera is a "thing of beauty." Please talk in another video about how that quilt was designed which had squares you put on a design wall and pulled off, got other squares from a basket and kept redesigning. Great wall art in home or for kids. What is it called? Pattern? Thanks.
Hi Cathy, I’ve been mulling this idea for about a week and I need to share it with you. You asked in your 10k Thank You what was our favorite show, I couldn’t come up with just one at the time but one “blooper” does stand out. I’ve decided you & Paul need to copyright Seam Reaper, develop a spooky seam ripper & market it. I figure within a year you could make your million dollars, retire from pharmacy and quilt full-time. Except you’ll have to go on tour for your book, “I Have a Lot to Say”😊
Wow! So many stunning pieces! Also, I love your outfit, Cathy, especially the little black & red bag! I wanted to let you know I have started making videos here on RUclips of my 1:4 scale Porcelain Doll Village. It's on my Siennaflower channel. I can post a link, but I didn't know if you would want that in your comments section. BTW, my grandmother lived in Atlanta and my mother grew up there. Then she moved to New Mexico, where I was born and raised, and live now. ❤️

Oh my goodness, high praise!! I'm humbled and pleased...thank you so much!!
Wow, how beautiful they are, all of them!
Aww! Thank you, Mary!! That's so cool!
Sooo fun and inspirational! Thank you so much for sharing! Nothing is more motivating than going to quilt shows! 👏🏼👏🏼
Shannon, I know that's right!! So much skill and talent and inspiration to be found there---I was blown away! 🤩
Wonderful wonderful wonderful!!! description of some BEAUTIFUL QUILTS. Thank you su much
Thank you, Brenda! ❤️
Thank you Cathy and Paul for bringing this to us … great camera work and commentary ❤
Thanks, Monica! ❤️ We learned so much---next year we'll film even more!
Thanks Monica!
Oh Meyrick! You have know idea how much that means. Thank you so much!
My coffee and I appreciate your wonderful thoughts on these amazing quilts! I hope the two of you had a great experience during your visit.
Thank you, Ginger! It was a great experience, and a learning one too!
Wow, so many beautiful quilts! Thanks for sharing
You're welcome! The sheer number of quilts there was breath-taking!
Thank you for doing this video! These quilts are inspirational and gets the creative process moving for me. (That does not always mean I get anything done!)
Preach that! I get all inspired but I'm not sure it translates to quilts made in my sewing room! 😂🥰🤓
Thank you so much, you are very much appreciated...... Because of you I felt I was there!
Oh yay! I'm so glad!! ❤️
Wow! B-E-A-UTIFUL QUILTS. Thanks for doing this. I wish I was there!
I wish you were, too! and they ARE!!! Just breathtaking! ❤️
Thank you so much for sharing a little of your time at QuiltCon with us Cathy. I really appreciate it!
You're welcome! Now that we've been once (and learned so much,) now we'll know how to show even more next year!! ❤️
Many thanks to you and Paul, Cathy, for taking us along to QuiltCon! I loved every minute of your video -- so well done, and you covered so many different quilts. What a treat!
You're welcome! So glad you enjoyed the video--thanks for watching! ❤️
So fun to watch you meet so many wonderful people and get to visit Crimson Tate via Atlanta. I just loved seeing your tour of this show. Thank you!
Thank you so much, Michelle! So glad you enjoyed it! ❤️
❤❤ Thank you for sharing. So many beautiful quilts! Such intricate work, amazing!
You're welcome, Mary! Thanks for watching! ❤️
Wonderful video of QuiltCon. Thanks for sharing the fun with us. It was amazing to see so many beautiful quilts and to see you enjoy it so much. Loved the purple shirt booth. 👔
Thanks, Renea! Did you go? I was wondering if you went since you're so close!
No, I didn’t get to go. 😢
Really enjoyed your visit to Quiltcon. Amazing quilts! Thank you. Karen.
Thank you, Karen! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! ❤️
Oh oh ooooh awh oooh....wow....can you hear us all, as we admire the work?!! Thank you so very much for sharing this with us. Each piece of work had such a different soul. Beauty captured in fabric. Loved it!!
You're welcome, Jean!! I'm so glad you liked it!!
I recently discovered your channel and you're already one of my favorite quiltubers! Thank you so much to put all those efforts in sharing personal stories and experiences. I truly feel connected to your creative journey! 😊
WOW! So wonderful. Thank you for taking us with you.
You're welcome! ❤️ So glad you enjoyed it!
99% of the quilts I would not even try to make. I just don't have the creative spark in my brain. It was sure fun to look at them, though. It was fun to watch you get so excited over the quilts and your turn at the quilting machine!! Thanks to you and Paul for sharing!
Thank you so much! (And me, either, to all the quilts I wouldn't even attempt!) But it was very inspirational and very beautiful! ❤️
Thank YOU for watching!
OH MY... thank you so much for taking us along with you to this great event.
You're welcome, Veronica! I'm STILL blown away by the talent and skill and beauty on display there. Just breath-taking!
Thank you, I live just 30 minutes north of Atlanta, I had company, so I couldn’t go. I enjoyed seeing all the lovely quilts.
Oh I wish you could have been there! But I'm glad you enjoyed the video--thanks for watching!
22:23 I really enjoyed this, thank you for sharing.
Oh I'm so glad!! Thank you for watching!! ❤️
Thank you, Jane! ❤️ That is high praise! 🥰
Thank you for sharing! WOW! I now have the QuiltCon bug! That is a trip I want to take. The beauty and talent to behold! I can imagine that if you are in a slump creatively this will get your Sew-Jo moving again! Again, thank you so much for sharing.
You're welcome, Christina! It is something you just have to see for yourself---and yes, so inspirational!!
Thank you so much for the QuiltCon Tour. As a newbie, I’ve never heard of this. I’m thinking I need to start making plans to attend in the future. The quilt artworks are Amazing! Definitely got my creative juices flowing.
It was such an inspiration! I would round the corner and see something and just hitch in my breath in amazement! ❤️
Wow! Amazing quilts! So much work put into them. Thanks for sharing. This was awesome! ❤
So glad you enjoyed watching...and our video only scratched the surface!
Thank you, Teddie! ❤️ We learned a lot making this video and will be going again in 2024!
What a wonderful tour! I enjoyed it so much. It’s in my saved videos for a re-watch, as so many of your episodes are! Thank you.
Thank you, Pamela! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video---next year we'll know to film so much more! ❤️
Watching you again at 1:30am and Wow!! I want to go to QuiltCon with you. You are having so much fun
LOL! I DID have fun, but I will say crowds are not my thing---and even though the vendor booths were creative and had great products and examples for inspiration, that environment isn't conducive to shopping for me!! 😱 But, there was so much to see and I was shocked and amazed our whole time there---that part WAS fun! ❤️
Thanks for bringing me to QuiltCon! What inspiration the quilts bring and enjoyed your thoughts and descriptions. Loved them all!! ❤
Thank so much! ❤️I'm glad you came along to QuiltCon with me! 🥰
I too read the description and I appreciate your explanation of the intricacies of each quilt. Magnificent!
You're welcome! I hope you do (to both!)
Thank you Anne!
Thanks for taking us along. My quilts look pitiful beside those. So much talent. Thanks
Thank you for bringing me along with you...when you said " holy mackeral"" l just laughed and said 😄 "soul sister" lol
Lol! Right?! I felt like you all were with me! ❤️
Cathy, thank you to you and Paul. You both did such a great job. I really enjoyed myself.
Thank you, Trish! So glad you enjoyed the video--thank you for watching! ❤️
Thanks Trish!
Thank you, Cathy! I think you make everything fun! It’s hard to imagine all the time and work that went into those quilts! I appreciate a tour of some of these beautiful quilts! Do I see a long arm quilt machine in your future?
You're welcome, Sherry, and thank you! 🥰 I loved the longarm quilt machine, but I'll have to leave that to the good quilters of the world out there!
Thanks for sharing. Great inspiration! Also, loved your face when you started to long arm quilt! I think you need one of those. :)
You're welcome! She had me at "write your name in cursive"---I had no idea it would be so much fun! 😳🤩😍
@@TheCatBirdQuilts Probably more fun than "write your name in cursive" on a check for one of those! :)
Thank you for the tour!!
Thank you for this sharing! This was the best! Your timing and reading of the descriptions and close up was perfect for me!😊
You're welcome, Sharon! And thank you for watching! ❤️
So many beautiful Quilts! Thanks for sharing your visit. Could you please share the name of the vendor you spoke with about the purple shirt. They had a vibrant HST quilt displayed and fabric packs to make it. Thanks Cathy and Paul ♥
The shop name is "Crimson Tate"---they have some of the most vibrant fabrics i've ever seen! 😍 www.crimsontate.com/shop/Fabric.htm
Lol, Nicole, I can totally envision this scenario playing out. Sorry not sorry! 😂🤓🥰
Thank you! I didn't want to fight Atlanta and what a treat to get close ups from my couch with my cup of coffee!
...well this was the best thing I've seen all day.
@@TheCatBirdQuilts Oh, not complaining--I just figured it had to be on her Instagram or SOMEthing, SOMEwhere. 'Tis a puzzlement! I'll keep looking.
Thank you for such a lovely tour and descriptions of each quilt. It was almost like being there.
Aww, thank you Angela!! I'm glad you enjoyed it! 🥰
I’ve never been to any kind of quilt expo other than the Kentucky State Fair. I’m seriously considering going to Paducah Quilt Show this year though. After watching your QuiltCon video, I really want to go.
Gina, you gotta go! ❤️ Just seeing all the talent and skill and beauty will fill you up! 🤩
Go to the Paducah Quilt Shooooow! One year I was coming home from a working "road trip," was so bummed and had a rough weekend. My route took me through there and I decided I needed that. It did not disappoint.
Thanks for taking us along! And thanks to your camera person... great work!
You're welcome! and thank you! I'll pass along the appreciation to my husband who does all the video work! 🥰
Thank you so much!
Lovely tour guide, Thank you both
Thanks, Cynthia! ❤️
Thanks for showing the detail of the quilts. That was amazing. 😊
You're welcome. All credit goes to Paul who did our camera work. He does a great job! ❤️
Wow so amazing! Thank you for sharing your trip there! 🥰👏🏻
You're welcome! ❤️ I wish you all could have been there too---I would love to have seen you! 🥰
Thank you for this, I felt like it was a wonderful look inside some of the beautiful works of fiber art on display. Also great camera work, you were able to walk and talk while the camera focused on the art. Continued success!
Thank you, Cassandra! ❤️
Oh how we love you! Thank you for sharing. It looked amazing! ❤
Thank you, Veronica! You are too sweet!
Thanks so much for the great tour!
You're welcome! Thanks for watching! ❤️
Wish I could have been there but maybe someday. Thanks so much for the tour. So much inspiration.
You're welcome! And I wish you could have been there too! ❤️
Thank you for this video. I'm unable to go to see a Quilt Show like that and it's amazing. Our Quilt Exhibition here in Germany are so much different just the way the quilts are presented and we have no ribbons. Many greetings 😃
Thank you, Peggy! ❤️ I would love to see a Quilt Exhibition in Germany, and I think maybe having no ribbons is a good thing. 🤓 Vielen Dank!🥰
Cassie, I thought the same! 😱 I've only done one quilt with curves---so I could use some learning myself! 🤓
She loves their colorful
kitsch-y (sp?) items so it reminded me of her.
Thank you for this video. It was wonderful to be able to see some of the entries.
Thank you, Marlyn! ❤️ It was my first time to QuiltCon and I learned so much---next year we'll get so much more on video!
Cathy this is an awesome video. Thank you for sharing ❤
Thanks, Diana! I'm glad you enjoyed it! ❤️
What a fun experience!
Thanks, Angela! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for giving us the highlights , they all are real pieces of art. It boggles my mind to see the level of dificulty!
Debi, they ARE. And me too---the talent and skill on display there was just unbelievable!! 🤩
You're welcome, Jennifer! It was fun! I'm planning to be there next year (Lord willing)---I hope to see you there! ❤️
That was lovely. I am happy you went!
Thank you, Penny! ❤️
Thank you. This was so much fun to watch.
You're welcome! Thank you for watching!
Talented artist!
Thank you for sharing. You did a fabulous job. Very professional, like a reporter
Thank you, Teresa! ❤️
Pattern? Thanks.
Thank you Rose! I agree about the steady camera shots!😉
Thank you, Rose! ❤️ Paul did do a great job with his camera work!
Thank you for the tour 🧵🌹🤗
You're so welcome, Elizabeth! ❤️
I. LIKE. THIS. PLAN. ❤️
Oh that's so cool, my friend! I'll come check out your videos!! ❤️ I hope you enjoy making them and have great success on YT!! Also neat that you have a connection to Atlanta! (it's a fun place!)
@@TheCatBirdQuilts Thank you! I am having fun, and my main goal is just to document the work I've done and all the creative ideas I've had, and to share that with whoever is interested.
So fun. Thank you for sharing.
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!! ❤️
Wow! Wow! Wow! Such inspiration!
The quilting was jaw-dropping. My friend, you would have died! ❤️ And now I want you to show me how to really use the longarm machine! SO. FUN.
