I used to watch Rat Patrol. LOVED IT. I have been watching Eric since about the time he joined Y&R. It's amaaaazing that all these years later, he and several others are STILL on that show. As of today, 6-22-2018, he is still on the show but not as often as he was earlier this year. Nikki isn't on as much either, and I noticed a few have jumped ship. Too bad because they do have a good cast.

I love Eric in young and restless. I have watched you for at least 40 years. The years I worked, I taped the show. You are a fantastic actor and I will miss you, but even the magnificent Victor for a beautiful retirement.. Thank you for all the great years you entertainment all of your fans.

I also have watched Y&R since day one. PEOPLE.... Let the man retire!!! My Husband passed away 6 weeks ago at age 47, he loved life and enjoyed his life and people. He didn't have the chance to enjoy retirement so please let the ones that can retire enjoy their (hopefully) long time left. I like Hans also.

I too used to watch Mr Eric when he played the German Captain in the 60’s show, “Rat Patrol”.
One day at work, I stopped to get a snack and there were a bunch of girls watching a soap opera on the tv . I sat down for a few minutes and that’s when I got hooked thereafter, watching “Y&R”. The TGVN, that he is. “I’ll be damned” ;) I will be looking for the audio cd of this book, especially if Eric Braeden is the listed narrator.

I have watched this fellow ever since I was a small girl watching reruns of 'Rat Patrol'. That he is still 'stepping to the mark' for Y&R is surprising given his age. I could wish a step back into some sort of retirement. If only so that he might be better able to enjoy time with his family and grandchildren than cater to a show that has taken over thirty years of his life. His choice, I know. Still, I would wish him continued life and health. Hopefully, i will see him again.

Chancellor and The Fosters and David Hasselhoff the brook sisters. I mean I go way back and I have been a fan of Young and Restless all my life until 2018 sad to see you go I do remember when you were mean and you had your ex wife hidden in the basement you were a bad person I remember all that sad to see you go you were good on Titanic so many years I spent with you your a great actor best of luck in your retirement. you will be very missed what are they going to do without the great Victor Newman I can't even imagine how the show is going to be without you the feud between you and Jack your children you got children on that show oh wow and your long-time wife she was there when she was a teen a stripper. Really surprise Stephanie wood go for Bill after all he's done to her but she's mad about Hope and William right now better think better of it and get over her Madness before she makes a really big mistake.
