If some people have a family like mine that doesn't like Sagrada, try Azul instead. My parents like Azul enough to replay. The problem with Sagrada, is the dice placement rules on the board. I have to tell mom every single turn why she can't place that dice in that spot (rules police(, because she can't understand and remember the rules turn to turn. Dad won every game, but found following the the diceplacement rules, tool use, and bonus objectives, too much to track and overwhelming. So I got them into Azul, and they like Ticket to Ride. Otherwise it's Qwixx, Sequence, Qwirkle, and Canasta. And than I go play Mage Knight and Clans of Caledonia by myself another day.
I just found your channel. Just trying to get into board gaming, started from Catan but really like cute animal/nature/ food themes. Nice to find a women’s opinion! Just ordered Honey Buzz. Can’t wait to play it! Also didn’t even know I could play solo. Thanks!
Same! It's an easy one to adjust for ages. I play with my almost 4yr old with no objectives, just the dice placement aspect, my 7yr old plays with objectives and he is learning the tool aspect at the moment. Hoping my kids continue to love board games! For Christmas, my kids are getting Barenpark, Planet, Dragon's Breath and Dragomino... might also get Machi Koro as well after my son and I played it at our local shop 😂
I immediately paused the video and went and ordered Downtown Farmer's Market! I looooove "Lost Seas" on BGA and its been out of print IRL for a long time. Looove this re-skin. 💖🥚🍞🥛🥕🌽
Fun Facts is a great party game. Our extended family game group - who play primarily party games when there are six of us at the table - enjoyed it so much that we played it several times over the course of a weekend to the exclusion of other party games. And therein lies the problem: we exhausted the deck after just those several plays. In fairness, we set aside about a quarter of the deck whose questions we felt were a little hokey or awkward. And due to the nature of the game - comparing individual preferences and priorities - there’s little point in replaying a card if you have the same group of participants. This is one of the few games that I feel would be much better served if there were a companion digital app that regularly offered new cards to try.
Great video looking forward to the rest of the series. A game I just picked up last month that’s solo or multiplayer is Skoventyr. It’s a fun cooperative push your luck game.
Great video! If you are into tetris shape drawing games, you should try Take a Seat, which is more a multiplayer game but it also has a solo mode! For the next videos in the series, I'd like some recommendations on narrative/exploration games if you have played any worth to recommend it!
I actually bring tinderblox with me and funny thing last month i actually went to a birthday dinner and i got a bunch of non gamer having fun with the game before the food arrived. While very light game is a good game for some fun. I also just received Diced veggies this week and it's a fun game but very dangerous to play before you ate something. The food looks very yummy on the cards
Hi! I thought my setting was bad, all details are blurry when you show the games. No, settings are fine. Is it my eyes then?? no again, phew... Then I discovered that apparently the damn YT lowered the quality of normal 1080hd for non premium users and added an enhanced bitrate options and geez, I hate it, on boardgame videos it's particularly important when the creator show cards, pieces and bits and see all the details! Anyone else noticed it? There are long threads on reddit and elsewhere. Ok giving better performances for paying users, but why annoy all the others?? P.s. nice video and content as always btw, it's entirely not your fault.

Great list! A few other very fun games under $30 that I would add are Sea Salt and Paper, Sobek 2 Players, and Mountain Goats.

If you like that type of game (I recognize the random output isn't for everybody), then it is VERY replayable! Just like Jenna, I've played it a ton since picking it up a few weeks ago. It has been a hit solo, with my wife, dad, and our kids! Only negative is I wish there were even more scenarios included! But it's also fun to replay scenarios
