I am so grateful from L V Beethoven and to now all of you who made it possible for me to have the experience of this exquisite music.
I didn't know this peace... I do need to learn more about classical music.. I feel that the Alto has a central place
I love the criticism that this quartet isn't as personal as the other late Quartets because of the awkward Lydian mode. Beethoven transforns that F Major A section with each reappearance, and it almost sounds like the violins are actually crying in its final incarnation.
Meraviglioso Attacca quartet nella più sublime musica mai composta da Beethoven!
I dunno. Needs more cowbell. Just kidding!!!! :P Lovely to have you back on youtube. Thanks for sharing your performance with us!
This piece is truly a spiritual journey. I have been in love with this movement since I first heard you play it at Holy Trinity. Thank you so much for this beautiful video, I will cherish it ❤️ (ps it helped me remember M6 interval haha)
Lily Koslow I’m glad I broke my rule of “never read the comments”. We loved having you there! Thanks for writing!

16:15. If you listen to no other part, listen starting here. Then listen again. And again. And again.
Soon you may have the desire to see how the music got to this realm. So then listen from the beginning. And listen again. And again. And again.
There is no rush. This music has all the time you will ever need.
Oh, one more thing. Listen with your eyes closed. And your mind as free as possible. You may be surprised what you find. ~
Oh and if you wondered about the tempo of the music. Yes it's slow, and that's one thing I love about this performance. It might be the slowest I've come across. But for this music, "slow" just means more time to absorb it. And besides, I once read someone describe this movement as existing "outside of time" which I think is a good way of saying it.
well said
Bello bello....
0:04-0:08 ‘Tristan’? 😰
Is this available to own on DVD/Bluray or other?
