I know that this is only a movie. But this move hits me so deep .I had to pause the movie for a while because the tears were just coming so fast. My aunt died because of domestic violence. This move brings back so many painful memories. I pray that anyone who's going through domestic violence gets out and get help before it's too late. Thanks to everyone who make it possible putting this movie together. All of the actors did an amazing job.
I hAve been there. And I use to hide it from every one. Thank god I am fine now.

I hope the message gets delivered to every abusive woman that is in an abusive and toxic relationship/marriage especially when there are children involved; because at the end when you are dead the man will continue living his life like nothing ever happened and the children would be left without a mother. It started when she had her promotion and one thing every married woman should learn in this movie is to know how to balance both home and work schedules
You can’t say because of work you can’t cook for your husband and he should be eating outside everyday. So both of them are at fault so we shouldn’t blame only the man

This movie was very well acted and one would think it's real. Many homes are like this and are broken . The children become wild coz of what they see. Maurice you scared me 😮 my friend, but its a movie thank God. This goes to the ladies,, some times you don't start a fight when you know your going to be beaten. The fight started coz of lack of breakfast..... so we need to study our men.❤❤❤ love you all ant the entire crew.
I liked this movie so much, i cant stop watching it, i even repeat it because they acted as in real life seriously

Several Times we pleaded her to run away from that mariage but no she Said she Will stayed for her Children😢 Where are you now aunty and where are your Children 😭😭 you finally died and abandoned Them . Six years now and it still fresh in my Mind. May God drag us away from violent men😭🙏

Watching this movie, I thought the red flags were everywhere.
Initially the two were friends, then they stopped talking, they lost each other, everything became a contest...As a marriage counselor, Lola would know that communication is key. Addressing hot issues in a safe environment. Listening to each other...even the violent husband. Being willing to take action to stop the violence escalating, if necessary moving away for a time.
I feel that it is important for both parties to take responsibility for their choices and realize the importance of those choices and the consequences. Somebody said...we must learn to face our life with the strength of a woman and not the grief of a child. Very difficult lessons here for us.
The simple thing that caused it was that se got promoted and started earning more than him. Realistically, most men cannot handle a wife who earns more than them. They see that as emasculation. The reason most men want their wives to be pepper and tomatoe sellers even thogh they are graduates or a stay at home mum in the guise of managing the family which the two of them are supposed to manage equally. Egocentrism.
