Thank you so much for your kind response. I look forward to your identifying forest birds video if you finally decided to do it. Have a nice weekend, Paul.
As I am new to Britain this was so helpful in identifying local birds. The vocals are an added bonus. Just what I was looking for Thank You. Well done!!!!!
Yes, it was well put together as a learning exercise, showing the bird then after a delay giving the name, then repeating. After a couple of views, you can name them on sight. Well done.
Thanks so so much! I was going crazy trying to identify birds I'd seen in a YT video for cats. Went all through my Sibley's Guide, and realized that the birds are not in the U.S. (I live in southern New Jersey, USA). Thank you! Now I know the names of these very lovely birds.
Thanks for this video. My kitty loves all your videos and watches them for at least an hour every day.. Appreciate the identification as we don't have these in Canada (I don't think) except for the sparrow.
This was really helpful considering I'm not an expert on birds in the UK. Stunning footage as always Paul and thanks very much for sharing this great video with us! =)
Hi Paul, have only just discovered your channel and it is an inspiration! The footage is truly fantastic! Managed to get some footage of some rather plump blackbird teenagers feeding from their rather tired parents last year as they visited the patio! Could watch them for ages, what a privilege! Thanks again, you have a new subscriber! Paul B
I feel a little smug that I IDed the robin already, but I've seen photos of them before. Most of the rest of these were a complete mystery to me. You read about them in books but it's different seeing them. Thanks!
Wow Paul you have become sort of a savior to me 🙂. I've recently gotten into drawing birds and having come across your channel has helped immensely. Of course I had to subscribe. I love all your videos but especially the ones that you name. Hope to see more, some more if the horses would be nice also, hint, hint. Lol Again love your vids. P.S. There is nowhere that is close to where I live.
This was really helpful. I wish there was something like this for North American birds. I am having trouble identifying a cute little bird that visits our home every spring.
I am SO GRATEFUL. I knew these videos were meant for cats so I hoped one day you might add bird identification. Now you made a video for birders too. Especially for us American birders who wish to know "what bird are you?" and enjoy them...along with you, and the kitties. THANK YOU MR DINING. BRILLIANT!!!!!! Just brilliant!!! I'm so very pleased. Btw, your sparrows look so much more defined (or refined perhaps) than ours. Wow.
I was struggling when using book and real Time.. you made my day. Good work 👍 enjoying UK Birds now . love from India.. anybody interested book "Bird sense'
This is exactly what I've been wishing for! My cat and I are both mesmerised by your videos :) I live in New Zealand and we have different birds, so I was wondering what they are called. Your filming locations are beautiful.
Hi paul. My whole family on Dads side are from Cornwall UK. Wish I could go live there!! I think I still have relatives alive there and possibly in Devon.TOO old to start over now. I'm a Theravada Buddhist so maybe in next life I can go home.
Is it possible to get all these birds in your garden. I live about 50m from a old church yard and about 200m from a nature reserve (couple of roads In between) but only ever see bluetits magpies and wood pigeons
It is definitely possible. Try feeding sunflower hearts to the birds...all of the birds in this video prefer them to anything else. The only bird in the video that doesn't appear all year round is the blackcap which only visits my garden during winter.
Paul Dinning thanks for the reply I'm just completely changing my garden in hope of making it more wildlife friendly. I have gone from zero trees and plants (turf from fence to fence) to three 8ft trees bushes logs stack etc so fingers crossed
We have a wide variety of birds visit us daily in our garden but what as happens to the thrush haven't seen one for a long time and the startling to seems to have become a rarity .
Very beautiful and helpful video -- assisting us to identify so many variety of birds in just 10 minutes is great! Thank you Paul.
Thank you very much Kwee Eng. I may do another with forest birds. Have a great week ~ Paul

My pleasure Pam. Thanks for watching ~ Paul
Great job, thank you for creating and sharing your video. It is a great tool for teaching children bird identification.
Beautiful birds 😀👍👍
Lovely to identify these birds and have them repeated, so much so that we can identify even before the name comes up.
Second this!
And I third this! 👌

i realize I'm quite randomly asking but do anyone know a good place to stream newly released tv shows online ?
@Mustafa Kace Lately I have been using Flixzone. Just search on google for it :)

Dana Seilhan Well many of us know the English Robin as it is the counterpart to our American Robin. :)
Great video, well done 🐦📹

I love your videos and so does my cat. 😊💝
Hi Paul, do you know how to distinguish between blackbirds and starlings in a video from around 20 metres?
I think watching how they move on the ground can help. Blackbirds usually hop whereas starlings walk
Male Blackbirds have a really obvious orange beak. Starlings have an irredescent sheen.
Very Helpful Thanks.
DAT WAS YOU WHO STOLE MY BREAD...
PIGEON!!
Seagullson Lol. Replied (12:23pm).
Thanks, many are new to me as I live in Ohio. My cat loves the videos, doesn't care what kind of bird though ;-)
The only reason I watched this video is because I have to do homework but still nice video
Is the bird call heard at 4:25 a Jackdaw?
Yeah
@@ibm3302 sweet thank you

Bit of a late reaponse, but those birds love berries. Since I've planted berry bushes in the garden they're swarming there in the summers
