- The Blagdon Inpond All-in-One pump has everything you need for a clear and healthy pond, combined in an efficient pump and filtration package.
This low voltage pump/filter includes three attractive fountain feature heads (Daisy jet, super daisy jet and bell jet), mechanical and biological filtration, a UV clarifier and automatic night time pivoting feature LED spotlight. The inpond 3000 is suitable for a pond with dimensions: 1.4 (L) x 1.2 (W) x 0.45 (D) m. The maximum flow rate is 700 L per hour (154 gallons/hour) and has a maximum pumping height of 1.25 m. It also features a 230 V, 5 W, 50 Hz UV clarifier with a 13 m cable. For a larger pond, choose Blagdon inpond five-in-one 6000 pump 9 W.
Trouble-shoot steps:
1. Ensure that the pre-filter foam, if there is one, is clean.
2. Ensure that the bearings are free from debris. Soak in kettle descaler, if limescale may be present.
3. Ensure that the motor surface is thoroughly clean.
4. Vacuum debris from the pond on a regular basis.
5. Use Pond Sludge Buster to reduce sludge level in the pond.
6. Check impeller for wear and tear. Is a replacement required?
7. Check fuse.
8. Ensure there is no damage to the cable.
Note : Firstly please make sure that the UVC is checked properly as it has a sensor which turns the unit off when it is taken out of the filter base. In order to check that the UVC lamp is operating, open the filter unit, remove filter foams and cartridge, positioned on top of the yellow contact chamber will be a round viewing window where you should be able to see a faint blue light. This operation should be carried out at dusk. Turning the lamp on and off may aid visual identification.

Hi is the correct way for the foams in the pump as your video shows, white followed by green and then the blue on top, ive seen it the other way round with the green on top ....thanks for any help

Hi should both switches be on continuously or can the fountains be turned off over night, I’m not sure which wires does Which with the filter and the lights
I understand it’s against the law to provide pond electrical equipment with plugs these day ( having said this “I don’t bloody understand why!”) nice vid mate thanks for the pointers. The adapters (power brick things) did you keep them out of the water ? Or they waterproof too.? ...just filling the Octagon model now.
no the power brick is not waterproof.only the pump unit is if going outside you could use a plastic cover for the power unit.
Hi, we set ours up and the led light doesn't come on. Tried a new bulb just in case but no luck. Any ideas?

Hi mate. I've just bought the half moon version andjust setting everything up. Should the pump be making a noise though as I've turned mine on and nothing seems to be happening and should the light be on all the time. cheers for any advice mate.
It does make some noise but you don't here it when in water over the fountain. Light should be on

Ive had 3 of these filters now, they keep breaking, cleaned every 2 weeks 😑 is it just me? I find them rubbish 500l pond , used the same filter that come with the pond each time. Every time its broke, different reasons each time.

ok after 1 year its working fine i cleaned out the filter recently still going on fine its a lovely pond.
Technologyadvisor1 hi....great vid...i got the half moon 3 days ago and planted some plants in the baskets that come with the affinity, the water has gone cloudy as the soil has made it go off colour, still not clear after 24 hours, when you think it will be clear again?
@@peterohare4706 my advice is empty the water would you like me to do a new video with an update on planting plants ? I have been running it 12 months with plants being very successful
Technologyadvisor1 if i empty out the water and just fill the pond again will it be crystal clear again or will the soil see pinto the water again? I took my plants out the pots and put them directly into the basket that are provided but the pool was already filled up and you could see dirty water deep into the pond. It’s been cloudy ever since, I put the plants in 48hours ago now and it’s still cloudy, is that normal? I surrounded the plants soil base with decorative aquatic stone, this is so frustrating. What about using ‘clear pond’ from blagdon, would this work....please help
@@Technologyadvisor1 probably a dumb question, but I can't find the answer. Do both wires need to be plugged in or is 1 for indoor and the other for outdoor? What does the transformer wire do? NEVERMIND GOT IT

have you wired the plug properly ? their is 2 plugs needed.

Its against health and safety for the manufacturers to put a plug because some idiots will use indoor plugs outdoors which aren't good for your safety lol
In the UK it is illegal for manufacturers to supply an indoor use 3-pin plug with a fixed outdoor product for safety reasons. Please see Blagdon Powersafe Switch Boxes or Outdoor Connectors for safe and easy-to-use outdoor power solutions.
WARNING - All Inpond models must be used with an RCD
A Residual Current Device (RCD), also know as the Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB), with a tripping current not exceeding 30mA must be installed
in the supply circuit.
A means of disconnection from the supply having a contact separation of at least 3mm in all poles must be incorporated in the fixed wiring. For permanent installations to the mains supply, it is necessary to conform to the regulations of the local electricity authority and this would include the use of a metal or
plastic conduit to protect the cable.
Attention has been drawn to the fact that special rules may exist concerning the installation
of your pond pump (i.e. local building regulations).
These pumps must not be used in swimming pools, or areas where people are in contact
with the water.
Always disconnect the mains electricity supply whilst the equipment is being installed,
repaired, maintained or handled. Consult a qualified electrician if in any doubt about wiring this product to the main supply.
How do you turn the led light on and off
its on all the time
