While there are a lot of young bands out there that get more publicity, there are none that are better musicians than the Strypes. None. I bet they could have ditched their passion and switched to be an arena-filling teen band, but they didn't. It seems their art is important to them. Thank goodness. No flash in the pan. They will be around a long time.
Keith Gaspar I listened to this again after taking a few weeks off. I like it even more. It seems simple because of the uncomplicated guitar riff and the bass line that echoes it, but there is so much communication (and call and response) between the guitar, bass and drums. Then Ross's vocals ties it all together. I have watched bands twice the age of these guys not be able to make all the pieces fit together like this.
+Keith Gaspar I was thinking the same thing basically comparing these lads to a band like 5 Seconds of Summer who are massively huge right now buts really only because they have a huge teen girl fan base. Musically and sheer talent wise 5sos is no comparison to the Strypes but yet they have 10 times the audience. Sadly this is the world we live in now.
I love this song! It's so groovy! I'm glad to be alive at a time where I actually have the opportunity to see them live while they are still very young, this is usually not the case when one is only listening to 60s music.
Man, they are fucking my age. Do you know what I'm doing right now? Studying for the finals and looking forward for an acceptance letter in an university. Do you know what this guys are doing? They're doing FUCKING FINE MUSIC. I haven't heard songs like these in like, 10 years? They're fucking awesome.
I can't get over how amazing these guys are! I know someone that went to see them a few weeks or so ago AND I REALLY REGRET NOT GOING. I NEED TO SEE THEM LIVE. THEY'RE BRINGING THE 60'S TO ME!
Best young band in the world and nobody fucking knows them, I'm sure if people just heard them they'd love them, they need more coverage. BBC didn't even show some of their songs from their Glasto gig, what a joke.
It's been 6 days since you leave Argentina and I feel like it's been a year, come back soon please!! It was amazing, no words to describe how talented you are. Come back soon boys♥
What we love most about The Strypes (besides their clearly obvious heroes (The Beatles and related), is that they're all great musicians (and singer). It's an even slice between 4 talented dudes. Lots of times, we'll see an overpowering voice with average musicians around it. Or a group focused around the amazing lead guitar or drums. Not here. The Strypes are a well-rounded power group of 4 with a sound that takes us back yet, has the ability to bring rock BACK to the forefront of the music world. #thestrypes #360degreesmusic #throwbacks
and I also tell you this: if they can manage growing success going straight on their road, the world will be rocking well again another time, for another of his best messiah is sent to us to believe in it forever. ^_^ (rock to many people is like religion, even if most of them still don't recognize it. because it recreates the world new to us all the times it sounds his truth, trough his riffs. think about it, and you'll find this in you too) ^_^
I've heard voices about the Devil being around Ireland countryside, more precisely in Cavan, quite many times during last years. this is the proof. as we all know none else could make rock miracles like this possible. ^_^ Robert Johnson Jimi Hendrix The Ramones and some others that said to me they prefer no to be mentioned (you know, God is quite envious about it, he's not that good in music, and tend to vindicate. but I know you know who) were with him too. we'll always be thankful to them all, and these smart guys have learned all their great and deep lessons so well and so fast. but as you can hear, from here on, now it's gonna be their time (you can tell this also finally for the drummer proper haircut). here (and the world around, soon), it's written. and you'll remember that I told you. ^_^

This is fucking hilarious XD
途中のブレイクの挟み方とか、センス良すぎて笑ってしまう。素晴らしきロックンロールの申し子たち。こりゃセカンドアルバムはロック史に残る名盤となりそうな予感。。。
Best young band in the world and nobody fucking knows them, I'm sure if people just heard them they'd love them, they need more coverage. BBC didn't even show some of their songs from their Glasto gig, what a joke.

Definitely taken some inspiration from Royal Blood here, it's great.
