- The FBI is working with the Navajo Police Department to investigate reports of Indigenous people getting picked up in cars and driven to Phoenix treatment centers
I worked at a "non-profit" recovery center in 2021 and they gave priority placement to indigenous folks because the facility could charge $7,500 a month to government subsidized healthcare. This has been a problem for years and is a result of relying on the private sector to provide services while monetizing a national health crisis.

Being addicted to drugs living in Phoenix, that's hell enough... I've a pension and worked at the Arizona country Club, and the Saint Joseph's hospital, my wife worked at the same hospital, those are 3 incomes and still wasn't enough way before COVID ... I love ❤AZ but to visit the stadiums things of that nature, to live there, out of the question.

Medicaid scammers. One of the rehabs they mentioned is called “Graceland”. They have a RUclips page. “Patrick Ridge”. He recruits and scams so many people for his rehab centers. Him and his wife Veronica run it.
Why are they covering the plate number and covering up for these criminals? I had the police handcuff me and throw me in a mental institution. They had me diagnosed with something I didn't have. I belive these psychiatrists and institutions are criminals working with the state to prey on vulnerable people. There needs to be a body to hold them accountable and punish them for crimes.
Heres what my experience as an Indigenous dude with a mental disorder.
One day i decided my experiences were enough and building on eachother. I went to my nearest counseling center. I explained to them what I felt and what i am dealing with. The woman councilor i was talking to leaves and comes back 5 minutes later saying
*YOU ARE ON CRISIS* (I verbally rejected that statement) then she presented 2 choices to me. I can either go willingly into a mental health facility or I can go to jail against my will and be charged with attempted suicide. I chose the former as she stated me leaving the premises will make her call the police. Since i filled out papers she knew where i lived and thus was trapped.
My experience inside the facility i was *COERCED* into being was one filled with self indulgence. Not listening to simple commands will extend your stay (I remember wearing my slippers and a female attendee told me to take them off. I joked and said whatever its okay im leaving today. She got angry and said "I will extend your stay until next week if you dont *COOPERATE* ." Not to mention they had no room for new residents and forced me who had no reason for being there to share my space with people who had REAL PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEMS. The ONLY SINGLE LICENSED therapist who comes by ONCE A WEEK was my only saving grace. Without him the people there would've kept me long
I am never seeking mental health assistance in Arizona ever again. Despite my sufferings, I'd rather be free than experience the abuse of power these facilities have.
You were trafficked. These organizations are trafficking natives for funding. You're worth more than the average bear, and because your beliefs are different you can easily be manipulated. This is what they do in every state to syphon government funding.

Welcome to the mental health clinics. They did the same exact thing to my daughter "not native American" this is how they make money. I tried to remove my child and they said if I did they would call cps on me. She was forced to stay then they billed my insurance and her father's

Years ago I remember working the front desk at a plasma center. A van full of Navajos approx 8 asked to sign up but none of them had the material needed to sign up and their zip code was outside of our acceptable zone. It felt weird and I didn't know how to approach it. Now seeing this, I hope those people are ok.
Edit: Most plasma centers need a suitable ID, Social Secruity Card and proof of address ( mail or electronic bill) to register

My daughter has been missing and no word even with all the filed reports.
It has had my attention and not in a good way.Having to check morgues of unidentified woman is a parents nightmare I don't wish on anyone .There are many women in those places that parents or family need to bring home for burial.If I could I would claim them all as my daughters but I can't their families need to know.
These agency's too picked up my daughter and we haven't seen her since today is her birthday .

Oh my...this is absolutely heartbreaking. This is a HUGE problem - I don't understand WHY this isn't being talked about more. I want to share this video and comment with a channel I watch. They are my favorite podcast and they cover missing persons and strange phenomenon or circumstances etc. Search on RUclips, "Mile Higher Podcast"....They're husband and wife, Kendall Rae [wife] also has her own channel with millions of subscribers and she too covers missing people only on her channel. They live in Colorado but they cover cases all over America and more. I am in recovery so the fact that she was thinking she could finally get help and this happens! Makes me nauseous. I hope and pray you are reunited with one another ♡ If you want to possibly share your story, look those channels up and tell them your experience. They even have family members on the podcast sometimes who advocate for their missing family member ♡ It really helps get that person's story out there since mainstream media here in America doesn't help with much if anything because they don't tall about the things they SHOULD often enough or at all.

It's true. My friend went through this. They basically kidnapped him and jailed him for 2 weeks. After watching that I never talk to any councilor or police officer if they ask any serious questions. They aren't there to help you. Hard but valuable lesson.

My dad is a member of the Navajo nation ,he was born on the reservation in Arizona. He left the reservation decades ago but from time to time we go back to visit relatives. I am disgusted and appalled by the living conditions on the reservation. When the whyte man stole our land and then "gave us back" reservations, they deliberately surrendered the least desirable (and most rural) land to keep us out of sight out of mind. The soil is dust you can not grow food, the areas are so remote there are no jobs to sustain the people, bad weather conditions. And corruption within the tribal leadership is beyond rampant as many of them (though not all) only care about casino revenue.
The reservation is a trap, it is a cycle of addiction and poverty for most indigenous people. I am glad my dad left and made a better life for us.
White man didn't steal your land. It wasn't your land to begin with. Your people immigrated here like everyone else has. They came from Asia. This land was occupied long before your people immigrated here. Did they also steal the land from the prehistoric man, and the cave dwellers?
History can't be taken in snippets. It's all or nothing. We're lied to about everything in history because they choose to just teach little snippets of history. Like Christopher Columbus. He didn't discover anything. For one, your people were already here. For two the Vikings visited before he did. And for three, he landed in the Bahamas, not the mainland US.

This happened to my daughter in Gallup NM 2 months ago, she ended up at a behavioral health place in Las Cruces NM and the people who took her had no insignia and she said they were some sort of cops.

Well I'm in a sober living house been here 14mo clean and sober from what I know and see the Navajo come to the sober houses they find out they can't drink anymore period and have to attend group every day have to find a job because they want you to be able to take care of yourself when you leave I'm full blooded native American and this is the best decision I made in my life I got my dream job I'm sucrity for gateway college so what I see is they don't like the rules take off drink get lost or call family and blame the sober house when it was them leaveing to drink I saw this first hand so just letting ya know I'm in a good sober living house you just gotta do the work plaine and simple

I feel like the media is trying to vilify sober living because the government is required to make payout for Indigenous health in order to comply with treaties made between the US government and Indigenous Peoples. The fear mongering media will never talk about the facilities that are SAVING Indigenous families, because the government doesn't want to dish out funds to the people they made promises to. 😢 They gave your people alcohol & food low in nutritional value as they forced you off YOUR land. Very sad and fishy. The amount of natives that go missing throughout North America already is astonishing so this doesn’t surprise me but the method in which it’s being done is a little surprising.
Tribal sovereignty, our rights on our own land get violated on almost a daily basis. One peek into the Khadijah Britton story and that is actually highlighted throughout Indian country. We do it to ourselves first and foremost, stories like this mean absolutely nothing.
History repeats itself is all I can say. Hoping one day we can all live in harmony and peace regardless of all differences.

I stayed in this motel in Phoenix once, and a buddy of mine found a black wallet with at least 30 different IDs, hidden behind a TV of native women of many different ages. It seemed creepy and turned it in to the cops.

There's a movie based on crap like this which stars "Frank Grillo" it's about these rehab centers that were making millions if not billions off the government from taking in addicts of all sorts around the U.S and they were based in California and help the addicts get clean push them out and actually sell them drugs all over again just to reinstate them like a cycle. They even had ex addicts who knew how to lure the fresh ones in and played them like a merry go round, it's all based on a true story. Which is really sad because these businesses were just using these poor addicts to stay on drugs and eventually overdose and die. Great movie, sad reality!

Twice I saw these same type of vans approach bus stops in Flagstaff on Rt 66 and again on Hwy 89. I saw individuals of native descent who were resting at the bus stops. I could see from my vehicle that the white vans drove up to these bus stops and someone got out of the van in each instance, approached the individuals resting there. In one of the instances I saw the native person being assisted into the van. One of the small vans was unmarked, the other simply had a sign on it that read “SUPERVISOR”. I have seen similar/identical vans near bus stops and in different locations around town only since the COViD events/not prior. Something inside told me this was not any kind of *normal* activity. I felt an unsettling type of questioning inside at what I witnessed, but couldn’t identify any reason to alert authorities at the time. This happened the first time in 2020, the second instance was 2021. At the time i was seeing quite a few of these types of vans driving around. I haven’t seen them in a while... maybe 6 months or so since I have seen any. Very sad and disturbing.
Tried to make me go to a rehab but hell no . Some of my cousins went to a rehab like that nd they left worst than when they came went in.

10-1 it's a rehab center with funding from the government. They get a payment immediately upon registration. Then they keep billing the government as if the people are in the center. 100-1 says the rehab crooks are not your average white doctor.

This is sad because there are people all over the USA who would love to get into a rehab. I'm from California and have been on the waiting list for a rehab in the Island Empire under IEHP healthcare and it's been 6 months and they still have no open beds. Which is crazy because IEHP only pays for inpatient rehab for 6 months so technically there should be tons of open beds but I guess the waiting list is sooo backed up right now. Thank God for the methadone clinic that is open till 4 everyday because being homeless I need medicated detox because it would be unsafe to go through withdrawals on the street not being able to walk, eat, drink and think would make me a target for sure.
The obvious answer is the rehab centers that intake the missing persons. Those vans have license plates. Trace and track them.
Nothing is being done because nobody cares. FBI agencies need to partner with Navajo Intelligence agents and DRIVE directly to the rehab facilities, get a search warrant, conduct impromptu investigations.
If civil servants refuse to help you they are not complicit, but guilty. They need to start a petition and get the awareness of the state's AG. If the people are asked to get inside the van and willingly go, that's not a crime that's cooperation.

This is happening in other cities too. They need to look at these missions and sober living group homes tied to "Christian" churches. They get Fed money as recovery programs but they are not medical facilities.

"Treating" people's addiction is much more profitable than delivering them from addiction, so some politician can boast about how much they spend on treatment.

Why do people think this type of crap just started? I lost an aunt in the 50's before I was born, her husband died at work and she got his retirement and payment by the company, gypsies befriended her and fed her alcohol all the way to complete alcoholism to numb her loss, but completely took her over, she died and they never told anyone, but had her put in a potters field and forged and cashed her checks for 11 months before anyone caught on! Her own daughter doesn't even know where she was buried! People have been screwing others for centuries, it will never stop! The victims Change and crimes Change over the years but it continues!
