Been playing and enjoying this build a bunch. One optimization that you didn’t mention in the video is any time you make a tangle you can throw it and grapple to it without consuming your grapple charge so you get a free grapple melee in every 15 seconds.
Or you can jump backwards a bit, grapple to the stationary tangle and punch enemies close to it repeatedly until there is nothing left to punch. THEN throw the tangle and latch onto it.
Missed a chance to mention dual siphon mods. You can run a void-strand siphon mod so you can proc both the tangle perks and the void perks from seasonal artifact while maintaining a large output of orbs. You have 2 un-used energy in the helmet so with dual siphon you're also maximizing slot use.
I've been using a similar build, but I instead use 1 grenade kickstart, charged up to have 4 stacks of armor charges, and stacks on stacks. Each melee kill will get you 4 charges and the kickstart will then give you like 1/3 of your grenade back instantly. I'm also running 3x bomber to finish off the grapple charge if I need it faster. All bout them grapple punches
@@NickTew Grenade Kickstart is the way to go. You want to grapple melee constantly as it does far more damage to crowds of adds than a 10 percent surge increase to your weapon. If you aren't going double surge for 17 percent increase, it's mostly negligible. With Kickstart you get your Grenade grapple back after every single Grenade grapple.

Tie that with absolution, innervation, and the fact that you create unraveling damage which benefits the grenade fragment hugely, you will get your nade back just as fast while also creating tons of orbs to get your super back.
@@NickTew I only run strand outside of endgame content. So surges aren't really needed. Now if I was in a raid or some higher lvl content, I'd be running void or solar. Strand is a really fun ad clear subclass tho

Great build I've used this brill. In place of wavesplitter I opted for 'Ruinous Effigy' on kills it spawns an energy sphere which you can pickup and slam into the ground causing an explosion, or what I've found keep a hold of the sphere and use it to melee with , watch the timer on the sphere and just before it runs out then slam the sphere into a bunch of ads or boss. Also while you have the sphere I've found you are invunerable to damage. So you can do a ton of damage. I test out all my builds and weapons in the cosmodrome . Good place to farm. I'm Baldy-one Titan main. But will use both Hunter and Warlock good fun.
Except don't use it in the Avalon mission. I hadn't brought up Wavesplitter yet so was like yeah, this'll work... Any adds that get debuffed by Ruinous have a huge chance to not drop motes. Found this out when I was on a killing spree and like 4 motes dropped out of the 12 I needed.... And Ava eats another guardian. 😆
@@justanobody3219 I've not noticed that about Ruinous. When I'm on I'll check it out I just have a ton of fun wacking everything in sight. Also checkout the Fighting lion grenade launcher. Never used this because the grenades bounce all over the place but I brought it out of my vault to do the catalyst. To my surprise I was getting hits of 250k + Downside was even at point blank range the grenade would bounce off. You need to be very accurate and use the sights, once you've figured out how to use the sights and the bounce then it gets insane. The range is pretty much the length of the Cosmodrome. And you don't need to look for ammo it's like a primary but a kinetic. Cheers.
Yeah, 500K melees is absolutely ridiculous. I'm absolutely setting this up later. I know I have Synthoceps in my vault, and I can mod everything as needed. I just need a shotgun with One-Two Punch.
I tried this build and it’s amazing although I found that sometimes I ran out of melee and fully because of the tangle cooldown or I am fighting a tanky enemy so I tried a new auto rifle which makes this build incredibly good with constant melee uptime the auto rifle is called Monte Carlo
I managed to set up pretty much the entire build with what I had except for the Shotgun! I didn’t pay attention to the 1 two punch perk and was playing with a shotgun of choice from dares. I played 1 dares match for pinnacle and got the shotgun with the perk 😂 Having a lot of fun with it!
it counts as unpowered melee so that while grappling you wont use your powered melee. i also bind the grapple melee to unpowered melee sometimes it uses nnormal melee
Also if you use directional inputs while while grappling...like, left or right, you can swing around the adds and hit em when they may be too close to slam into. 😊
I’ve been running something similar but using Shackle Grenade for crowd control and running in to use my charge melee if it’s up. I also did a even split between strength and discipline after maxing resilience.

Honestly I was using something jerry rigged together to be this but I followed yours a bit closer, not sure that I'm seeing the drastic damage numbers even with the one two punch shotgun though so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, sure not enough to one shot champs. That said your tip about grappling at the air rather than at the target and not to be too close to said target was very helpful, I couldn't quite get it to work for me because I couldn't get the shot then melee off but I'm starting to do it more reliably.
Great build. But can you explain with no buffs active how at 12:16 you got 50% of your grande back just by swinging? U hadn’t even made contact with the enemy yet? Thank you
Synthoceps are still preferred I think, the melee damage it provides not only affects grenades, but the melee, super and possibly any glaive you might be using such as the new winter bite
You need syncotheps for this melee build to be worth it. So armanterium defeats the purpose of the grapple as you do so much less damage without synco. Synco makes this an ad clearing and single target beast

@@justanobody3219 hoil is definitely still one of the best ones, especially in void builds. There are a couple of build videos on youtube with hoil. Next best option would probably be the new abeyant leap that you can get from the legendary campaign.
I had actually given up on trying to onetwo punch with the grapple. I had no idea you could actually do it, i guess you just have to not touch the ground
@@NickTew ya you have 3 melee charges to take care of that. A 10 percent boost t weapon damage is a fart in the wind compared to what Grenade Kickstart does for this build. You can keep the mod that procs orbs on void weap kills but you're better off going Kickstart if you want your grapple back after every grapple kill
i do like the new titan it feels super tank and titan can string up everything easy the super feels super fun and it does a ton of dmg the hunter one feels weird the warlock one is great one and done
love the set up! for my weapon loadout, I run monte carlo for tons of ability regen (intrinsic perk plus Thread of Generation), a Hollow Denial with Lead From Gold and Repulsor Brace, with Fire and Forget with Field Prep/Chill Clip.
I fail to understand why you wouldn't use Grenade Kickstart on your arms over impact induction. Grenade Kickstart gives me my Grenade back immediately because I have two orbs from innervation on top of the Kickstart proc. And 2 orbs always give me x4 armor charge.
Nice build, but me personally I prefer builds that work on both regular content en GMs. Try flying around and punching things in GM and you're gonna get wrecked.
Does anybody else have the probem where your regular melee completely whiffs every time? Like, you have an enemy standing right in front of you, you hit your melee button, and then you watch as your titan leaps in a random direction, punching the air like he's totally fucking blind and wasting your melee charge. This is why I hate strand titan.
I see you point but in an environment with other players it’s a whole different situation. There you have more tangles than opponents to use them. In a way it makes you more powerful when playing with others, which is a good feature in a mmo/ls
@iESCAP1SM when playing with others but a suspend build is viable alone or with other and has no cooldown. A titan can have infinite suspend paired with hatchling and unravel
Pretty good. I'd make some tweaks here and there but that gets the main things over very well. Close to my melee build (tried hard to get a glaive pun in there). You've scope for a little extra polish depending on the guns available.

@@dvb8637 gonna have to go with get good. 😂 Just soloed the 1830 avalon with a Slam Dancing (grapple melee) Titan. No issues whatsoever. If it still feels a little hurry, sub a leg mod for better already, on top of recuperation. I do for higher end content. Makes slam dancing end game adds fun. 😅
How is your firepower mod in your gloved only requiring 1 energy? Mine requires 3 and my Impact reduction requires 2, yours is 1. I can't replicate this build.
It’s the seasonal perk which reduces the energy cost of grenade mods. Second row. You need to re-equip the version w lower cost after unlocking it. Doesn’t update automatically
If you want infinite suspend, run necrotic grips, osteo striga, and consume the shackle grenade. Be careful tho, the suspend build can crash your game because of all the shit on screen

I like having weapon surges personally which is why I stay away from kickstart mods

You can use the grapple closer or point blank, but have to adjust the timing on the melee.

That isn’t similar, the grapple melee is buffed so the build is there to enhance that even further, which means it’s a grapple melee focused build.

Strand titan is the closest thing to roleplaying a Protoss Zealot from Starcraft.
Maybe drop the firepower mods for nadekickstart mods. Ashes and hands on should be more than enough for super regen honestly

warlocks have the best. it was so good they disable one of the pieces of the build
