This was the ultimate Rave experience before we had music festivals, this event was the first of its kind and groundbreaking with the mix of different genre’s into different marquees was the first time you had the best DJs in the world playing at the same event from Danny Rampling Sasha, Oakenfold & Nick warren which was called the house tent to the techno tent with, Tanith Producer Trevor Rockcliffe Cj bolland’ Dave Angel, Sven Vath, Daz Saund, Laurent Garnier. Colin Favour & Dale & Mark Spoon. Then in the main marquee as it was called we had all the finest uk DJs such as Jack Frost Kenny Ken Carl Cox, Topp Buzz Grooverider Slipmatt and Pilgrim Fabio Ratty Clarkee & Ramos to many to mention but the techno marquee was absolutely fantastic and a incredible wonderful experience with the finest European DJs and I traveled from Edinburgh on a bus for 15 hours to get there and straight back at 9am for another 13 hours it was such a pleasure and everyone was so happy to witness this Awesome event we all realised how groundbreaking this event was. Universe Crew were the best promoter’s in the scene at that time and there lineup was always exactly what was advertised on the flyers No bull shit. They honestly where the most professional organisations I’d ever had the pleasure to attend their parties & this huge moment In that time which is still historical to each person who went to the first Tribal Gathering which was the best rave experience I’d ever been to. Nothing came close to this night as soon after the criminal justice bill took effect & everything changed from summer 93 into faster and faster music or all the big uk DJs where playing jungleistic Breakbeat which was the beginning of the end of the old school scene as we original raver’s new it to be. Wonderful Night and anyone who was there knows exactly what i mean. The atmosphere was so uplifting and the mist in the early hours made the atmosphere so Mysterious & Trippy it felt uniquely beautiful & special, it all added to the music And the whole experience, great great event. All the DJs played there ultimate set’s & Mc Ribbz was especially unbelievable that night. 👍👊👍. 🎛🎚🎛. 🤩 🕊✊🕊️
One of the best nights of my life and this guy set the bar, amazing memories in a time of amazing nights,Universe, Fantasia, Perception, Pandamoniom, World Party Sterns.and all the others that played host to the Raving Massive I thank you for the memories. x
Bollard and easy groove techno dred were setting the standard of acid techno back then. This and the Lauren garnier sets were the best of the night. Although I think every DJ played out their skin that night.

We came down from Edinburgh also what a journey there 15 hours on DJ Kids bus, and the night was perfect In the techno tent all night mostly as the main arena was playing all the jungle stuff and no one seemed to be dancing like they were in the marquee where Colin Dale and Favour Mark Spoon Daz Saund Dave Angel Cj bolland Sven vath Laurent Garnier Etc. Thanks for the music & the best rave I ever attended & I witnessed most of the huge famous ones from late 91 onwards. This though was by far the best organised & the whole atmosphere production was immense. Mc Ribbz & Jack Horner also awesome. The main marquee had every Top Uk Dj you could imagine. Universe was like the first music dance festival creating this event 25,000🤩🕊️🤩
Reply to andy maguire , this is a live mix using vinyl in front of about 5000 people even the likes of sasha etc etc would have the odd mix out needing a push , the mix at 25.45 to 26.00 is pure techno perfection . All djs do now is press sync then play .
Hold on a min, his mixing was shoddy at Obsession World systems 93 I don't quite understand why because most of the other DJs had no problems with the 1210s back then. No doubt he's a great DJ its just some of his sets are scruffy and some transitions are way out.
Remember hearing this sat in cinema tent watching Dune. Major snowball shit. Could not move listening to this. One rave to do again would be this! It will always be with me
The snowballs were made in Latvia and not Amsterdam. You took the equivalent of say 2 doves. They weren't mdma they were mda and lab made that's why thet were smack. Trippy. Then rushes in that order. I have took a few extc in my 46 yrs and nothing will touch the snowballs m8. Look it up bud.
