And if you say something like I should’ve known better and I shouldn’t be on there anyways, that’s not an excuse for predatory behavior. And I by no means am the only person my age on the site. Almost all high schooler and middle schoolers have used a site like that. Most times I would lie about my age but the few times I decided to tell the truth, most of the guys were still interested in nudes. Keep in mind the youngest I was using site like that was at 11-12. It’s disgusting how many are secret pedos.

When I was younger, there was a social networking site just for middle school and high school students. You could only get in by being invited by a friend, and you had to list your exact school and what year you're in. It was pretty safe, never heard of any incidents.

Personally I think he should just edit out the parts of the video and description with MamaMax and make it a standalone video about KidsChat if he's able to do so; the site did (and still does) exist and the issues with poor moderation seemed to be pretty legitimate, considering Ryan was able to go on and see it for himself. I checked the WayBack Machine and KidsChat has indeed existed since 1999 and there's multiple captures of the site throughout the 2000s and 2010s, with the same basic rules and guidelines each time. Had Max fabricated it, he would've had to have done so decades in advance, which I find hard to believe. While we know for a fact that Max has fabricated the stories behind many of his videos, KidsChat is very real, even if Max just used its misdeeds for clout.

It will also expose children to content which you basically want them to avoid, which I can understand is a bit of an ethical question. You can educate children on paedophilia and internet safety without showing them excerpts of actual paedophiles.
i think most of these sorts of videos calling out these sorts of harmful websites and sneaky methods predators use to get at kids who dont know better should not be age-restricted simply because i dont think enough parents go out of there way to find content like this and then effectively convey the information to their children. sure videos like this might frighten some kids to some degree, but id much rather a kid be afraid of the internet than end up ignorantly giving away their address to a kidnapper because they werent properly warned about the danger they're putting themselves into just because the most popular video hosting website on Earth age-restricts (or straight-up bans) every video that does any work towards spreading awareness of the issue.

Posing as a 13 year old girl, I received direct chats from no fewer than 4 guys within less than 5 minutes of logging in as a guest. One of them directly asked within 2 messages if I wanted to meet. I am disgusted and appalled that this site is still up as of 21 July 2022.

I grew up with the internet in the early 2000's and "asl" was a common greeting everyone used when you first met someone new online. I don't think it's a term used much at all these days except by predators apparently.

When I was 13-14, many years ago, I thought adults acting like this toward me was normal and I had to be super polite to them so they wouldn't get mad if I outright said "no" so I'm glad someone is actually doing something about this. I could've ended up in a horrible position as a kid, I was not aware of this at the time and I'm 26 now, finally know this was grooming behavior toward me.
This is a KIDS chatting room, there’s an adult chatting room that I was in and sometimes when the admins suspect someone to be underage they pretend to also be 15-16 and chat with them, get friendly get a confession from the user who is probably underage and Ban them from the app. If an adult app can do this, a kids app should take necessary actions first.

Not doing any research, vetting, screening and due diligence on a friend is one thing, but Max was frequently a business collaborator and Nexpo vouchrd for Max’s ability as a pred hunter. I’m not sure how to view Nexpo’s conclusions on say, Lake City Quiet Pills if behind the scenes Nexpo admits to not really reading or scrutinizing any claims he recieves

Sadly I was one of those kids starting in 2002 when my family gave me my first computer. The moderation back then wasn't really something anyone tried to do or talked about from what I remember. It was very open and made you very prone to the wrong stuff as a kid with no parental involvement. I was preyed on multiple times by people who knew my age and I knew theirs. I was in a neglectful abusive home so the attention I received from these people made me feel better. They gave me something I was lacking and made me feel wanted. I never met them in person but almost did a few times.. The things these people told me is sickening. I think back and feel sick to my stomach and so grateful that I came out of it safer than others. One of the predators stalked me for years online even into my early twenties. He originally told me he was 20ish when I was 14 but he was 70 married with grand kids. He often talked about rescuing me from my home and having me stay with him and doing things to me when his wife wasn't home. It was pretty terrifying tbh but he felt like the only person who cared for me at the time.

I went to the site pretty much right after watching this video out of a sort of morbid curiosity and 1) its pretty much still a cesspool in 2022 they have bots "monitoring" things but I got hit up by two separate people in seconds under my guest account where I said I was 14 and female 2) I noticed at 5:38 when Nexpo was making his guest account that the youngest you could say you were was 13 and I thought that was bad - guess what?? Now the age limit is fucking nine. Nine years old. I literally cannot believe it. I know this video is two years old and probably doesn't receive much traffic anymore, but this is ridiculous. Clearly nothing was really done about this site, despite multiple well-documented accounts of pedophilia and harassment. It hurts my very soul to know things like this go on right under our noses.

I actually have a relative that works for a three letter agency-I wasn’t told much when I brought this up, but this website is 100% a honeypot. Bringing attention to it is actually doing more harm than good. The predators should feel like it was created by someone like them and that they’re safe. By just reading over some of the response post just shown in this video you can tell they were extremely salty anybody even called them out on it. They repeatedly said Mamamax's videos were "fake news" and "click bait" along with hoping that his channel is permanently banned. Obviously they are trying to hide that they know or have fostered such insidious behavior or else they would have been completely transparent about actions to address the issues.

I found this website when I was 14. Being someone who had zero confidence in myself or really anything, I happily excepted these freaks as “friends” because they called my “beautiful” or “pretty”. I attracted all kinds of wrong, and still have these men leaching off me like parasites. I’m 17 now, but despite growing some sense I’m still harassed but them every day. I’ve never found the confidence to admit I had done stupid shit, shared pictures, said gross things, so here I am. Hopefully nobody makes the mistakes I have, because I surely have waited too long for help now.

It would start out with comments, and then it would be active grooming. I'd get scared and angry and call them out, and they'd say vile, disgusting things that are still seared in my psyche. Some would even weaponize my isolation and loneliness, and try to make it hard to say no. I'm sure every person who was young and on the internet has had this experience. When I was younger, there was a social networking site just for middle school and high school students. You could only get in by being invited by a friend, and you had to list your exact school and what year you're in. It was pretty safe, never heard of any incidents.

I checked the WayBack Machine and KidsChat has indeed existed since 1999 and there's multiple captures of the site throughout the 2000s and 2010s, with the same basic rules and guidelines each time. Had Max fabricated it, he would've had to have done so decades in advance, which I find hard to believe. While we know for a fact that Max has fabricated the stories behind many of his videos, KidsChat is very real, even if Max just used its misdeeds for clout.

I just went to check out to see if the website is still active, and it absolutely is. Posing as a 13 year old girl, I received direct chats from no fewer than 4 guys within less than 5 minutes of logging in as a guest. One of them directly asked within 2 messages if I wanted to meet. I am disgusted and appalled that this site is still up as of 21 July 2022.

Sadly I was one of those kids starting in 2002 when my family gave me my first computer. The moderation back then wasn't really something anyone tried to do or talked about from what I remember. It was very open and made you very prone to the wrong stuff as a kid with no parental involvement. I was preyed on multiple times by people who knew my age and I knew theirs. I was in a neglectful abusive home so the attention I received from these people made me feel better. They gave me something I was lacking and made me feel wanted. I never met them in person but almost did a few times.. The things these people told me is sickening. I think back and feel sick to my stomach and so grateful that I came out of it safer than others. One of the predators stalked me for years online even into my early twenties. He originally told me he was 20ish when I was 14 but he was 70 married with grand kids. He often talked about rescuing me from my home and having me stay with him and doing things to me when his wife wasn't home. It was pretty terrifying tbh but he felt like the only person who cared for me at the time.

The FBI *runs* predator websites and rings, and not just for honeypots or undercover investigations. The Finders is one such example of federal involvement with such things. Asking the FBI to investigate is asking them to investigate themselves. They never will.
Its funny how RUclips kills this and makes it so nothing is found but when you search up Logan Paul's suicide forest video it could still be found. They'd rather show (AND KEEP ONLINE) a man mocking a suicide victim than a man calling out pedophiles. disgusting. disgusting on both parts.

I'm tremendously disappointed in RUclips. They took down something that needed to be said. Pedophiles should not be allowed to walk.
I found out the hard way my ex was a predator. I was caught in the middle of a very bad, abusive relationship. I got to see the dark sides of this person. I experienced a predator first hand and it makes me absolutely disgusted. Report every predator you can. Don't let them get off scotch free like RUclips did.

Some of them are actually aware they have a problem and will allow themselves to be locked up and put on medications that completely dissolve any sex drive. It's a sad way to live but it's better than being an actual child molester or dead. I'm seeing a shift in RUclips's stance on predators, I watch 'AnxietyWar' whenever he uploads and he has had to reupload his most recent video 3 times, and 'PredatorsPoachers Bay City' has had one of their recent videos removed for the same reason "Harassment and Cyberbullying".

Honestly it seems like the site itself was created by predators. Their response to the video shows that either they haven't spent a single second actually checking their own platform, or they don't care/support it. There's absolutely no possible way that they don't see the problems with it
By just reading over some of the response post just shown in this video you can tell they were extremely salty anybody even called them out on it.
They repeatedly said Mamamax's videos were "fake news" and "click bait" along with hoping that his channel is permanently banned.
Obviously they are trying to hide that they know or have fostered such insidious behavior or else they would have been completely transparent about actions to address the issues.

I found this website when I was 14. Being someone who had zero confidence in myself or really anything, I happily excepted these freaks as “friends” because they called my “beautiful” or “pretty”. I attracted all kinds of wrong, and still have these men leaching off me like parasites. I’m 17 now, but despite growing some sense I’m still harassed but them every day. I’ve never found the confidence to admit I had done stupid shit, shared pictures, said gross things, so here I am. Hopefully nobody makes the mistakes I have, because I surely have waited too long for help now.

Just got banned for “spamming troll” when all I was doing was saying that the site is a hub for predators. They know what they’re doing, keep hitting them.
I'm glad people make videos like these now! When I was a teen on the Internet, it happened a lot (adults chatting and grooming young kids) on forums. And when it happened, nobody spoke about it, so I was sure to be an isolated incident. Thank you, all of you who raise awareness and help stop those people.

actually i’ve been there and they ban people for trying to trade links. they can only ban people from what they say in the main chat tho they can’t see dms. and there are a lot of real kids there. mostly young kids. young kids and old guys :/ but anyway yeah it’s very toxic and infiltrated by pedos ranging from teens to 60s. i even went on a rampage once and started calling them out and telling them to duck off and not only did the kids defend the pedos, i got banned for being rude or sum.

I've met people, older than myself on chatrooms. We'd become fast friends, and then they'd quickly learn that I was born with a vagina. It would start out with comments, and then it would be active grooming. I'd get scared and angry and call them out, and they'd say vile, disgusting things that are still seared in my psyche. Some would even weaponize my isolation and loneliness, and try to make it hard to say no.
I'm sure every person who was young and on the internet has had this experience. It's not new, and it's disgusting. The fact that the website wasn't immediately taken down and that mamamax's video was taken down, is awful.
