Definitely seems like you need to put the Barbican on a sacred site in this matchup. The second TC could have been used to cover the front wall instead. Getting down a couple of outposts with handcannon slits covering the sacred site during that fight over the central sacred site might have worked, too.
I’ve just come back to AoE4 after a long hiatus (played it pretty casually and still do, no ranked/competitive play) The sultans ascend DLC drew me back in and I’m having loads of fun. I just started getting into the Delhi Sultanate to unlock the masteries and I’m still getting used to how the civ plays. From what I understand, elephants and Ghazi Raiders are the big unit focuses of the DS, so I’m not understanding why the DS player is going for lancers. They’re not bad of course but they’re just regular heavy cavalry that every other civ gets except the one tech from the age 3 landmark that gives +3 melee attack. Am I missing something?
Your army composition depends on the type of game you are playing & the map and what resources it provides. Fast castle, fast Imperial, fighting in the feudal age, quick sacred site victory, late imperial etc. Each strategy combined with the map can make different army compositions effective or ineffective.
because they are castle age units up against feudal age zhu ge nu's, lancers and men at arms own chinese feudal armies of course, men at arms arent countered by any chinese units at feudal, no need to make elephants when you already have control, elephants are great at taking space even though they are slow
They are also a lot more mobile, which allows quicker map control and response to whatever your enemy is up to. The cost of the elephants is not worth it in this scenario here. As long as he could outnumber MarineLord, Lucifron was absolutely fine.
Another great Delhi cast, Drongo. The Delhi civ is very powerful, yet under appreciated.
True true true
man that triple sacred site at the same time is wicked ! Thanks for casting such great games lately Drongo.
Absolutely flawless game played by Lucifron
Thanks for immediately spoiling it
@@Deathskull0001 lol why go to the comments before watching the video?
