I feel like this addon doesn't deserve the poor rating. It's description clearly states that you need the 787-10, so everything really comes down to people not reading the description before purchasing

Talk about the 787-9, it was in fact one of the most popular widebody aircraft in the world due to it's very perfect passenger capacity, and also range for long haul flights. I did actually spotting a 787-9 takeoff from Jakarta and it is amazing.

Why a low rating isn't the same as 787x?
Worst rated marketplace add-ons doesn't mean it's bad, it's just that the number of players who rate the add-on is still small ❤

PMDG planes have a fairly mediocre rating, worse often than Captain Sim products. Clearly ratings for planes shouldn't be taken at face value. I'd trust a layman's rating of a scenery product far more than of an airplane as an ATP myself

Usually the only people who rate things are the ones who dislike it.
Horizon sim has a freeware 787-9 coming out soon
you should try the a330 I don't know if the computer has it or not cause i just saw it on the xbox.
There are usually more add-ons a available on PC than in XBox. If you see it on the Xbox, it's most likely also on PC.
(And yes. There are A330 add-ons on PC)

Well the 787-10 isn't free as you need the deluxe version, even the Kuro 788 needs that to work.

The reason the 787-9 is low rated is because you need the 787-10 for the it to work which the 787-10 can only be obtaine if you have the premium version of the game
Its kinda poorly done. They should make upgrading your version much easier.

@Swiss01, I don't know if you will answer this question, but this is a legit question. You use both X-Plane and MSFS. Which do you prefer? I ask because I have used both and still have not decided. I know you are close to the X-Plane owner. I'm a Microsoft Alumni from the 90s. So, you can appreciate my connection to the company. Compare to X-Plane 11, I think 12 is great. There is a lot of discussion on the scenery and I'm interested in your thoughts. I think the MSFS scenery is better, sometimes, worse others. As far as flying, which do you prefer? Love to see a video on this now that X-Plane 12 is approaching 1 year. Perhaps when 12.08 releases as it will have a lot more fixes.
Well, i would say for videos, he’ll usually use msfs because in general the scenery and all is better but in terms of actual flight physics, X-Plane 12 is DEFINITELY the choice to go for but that might change because msfs 2024 has an update where the physics got A LOT more realistic so it depends in which context you’re talking about. (Sorry for the EXTREMELY late response 😅)
@@ThatOneGuyNoah and if you want security choose X-PLANE 12 . Microsoft's security sucks. I lost my 2 year old minecraft account because of an Unauthorized access to my account and lost 30.00$ Which is a lot in a 3rd world country.

Grüezi Swiss ! Personally I have the MSFS Standard, but I will upgrade it to Premium Deluxe after I got 100 hours (I got 36 now). As a Swiss with half-Polish blood, I would then like to fly the 787 from LOT. They have the 787-8 (I'll get the one from Kuro) and the 787-9 (I'll get that one).

So the plane is good but the low stars are from people who couldn't read the disclaimer. Whilst it is weird how you have to pay from the deluxe version to use this, people should read the fine print then the plane won't get as low ratings.
The great thing about X-Plane is, that the aircraft with very little tweaking, can be made backwards compatible.

The reason it sounds like the 787-10, is because the whole DreamLiner family all use the Trent 1000’s which is used on the 787-10. This plane is a full fledged 787-9, it just sound the the -10, because it pretty much is irl

You should do a comparison of this thing to the freeware Horizon Simulations 787-9.
the new 787-9 (not this one) is really not that bad. it comes in GE and RR engines and has custom soudns and decent physics

At that point of just using the 787-10, horizon simulations have the exact same thing but for free, more liveries due to opensource and has the same features but slightly better.
I can just see how the bad landing was.. Was like ryanair landing but for plane its 10/10 rating. In My hometown in India as i see there are vistara B787-9 planes takeoff the sky.. These planes are btw good for conducitng butter landing but it might land after touchdown zone..

I have the 787-10 and it is pretty good. But you can’t get it normally you have to get the upgrade
It's just a skin, it isn't good but It should and higher rating. the price is ok tho IG. I was disappointed that it flies exactly the same as the 787 10, when in reality they fly a bit differently. An example is like the PMDG 737, where each one has different physics

If anything, the plane deserves a 4.1 to a 4.5 out of 5 stars. People need to learn to read the instructions and improve their attention span...
