A watermelon under the compost pile ?
That’s a great sweet bonus !!!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I had no idea it was there and cut the vine away and there it was. Since I had cut the vine I had to get it out. Could have waited a bit more but it we gobbled it up.
Muy buen video
Thank you.
That watermelon is a surprise 😮 😋
Yes it was.
Thx for sharing
Thank you.
Good job sir. Thank you
So nice of you. Thank you for visiting my story.
That was a fun video! Thanks for sharing!
You bet!
Wayland I’m sorry these scammers are posting on your videos. I wish I could report them to RUclips for you. On another note: I grew sweet potatoes for the first time. Mostly because of your videos o er the last few years. I love watching you dig for sweet potatoes! I only planted a few slips and the ground was very compacted. Wasn’t sure how they would do. I never used any fertilizer. But they did great!!! And I also harvested all of the leaves. Got four gallon bags crammed full! I love to just sauté in a little olive oil and a bit of salt. Sooo yummy and greens for all winter to go along with my other veggies.
I put the sautéed leaves in quiche too...delish.😋
@@valoriegriego5212 great idea!! I find them much milder than your regular greens.
Excellent thank you. I do patrol for the scammers and get them off as soon as I can. This is a new batch. RUclips actually tries to catch that sort of thing. Thank you for looking out for me and for visiting my garden.
@@Sparkysings2 I really like the new ends of the vines.
@@valoriegriego5212 We toss most of the harvested greens in everything we cook.
Tanah nya sangat subur.menjadi sahabat bumi buleh mendapat hati yang senang dan terhibur.
Thanks for stopping by my garden for a visit.
I planted sweet potato slips into composted leaves mixed with my guinea pigs old bedding. I am hoping to get some sweet potatoes since this is my first time planting the slips.
Sounds right. Please let me know how they do. Thank you for visiting my deep mulch garden story.
How did they do in the leaves?
@Born_From_Above no great. They did not grow. At least it was me learning...lol. Next spring, I will plant them in a different soil.
@@thelizfamilyvlogs6187, great thanks for sharing your experience
Yeah! My fav food...Sandia! 💃Y'all got another nice looking melon. 😋
I think sometime we forget that a compost pile doesn't have to be turned...the turning simply speeds up the process. If you aren't able to turn a pile let it go and eventually you'll have your compost.😃
That melon started on the side in a small space and seemed to do just fine. Great surprise. Thank you for visiting.
I got 19 pumpkins from my compost pile, thanks to Halloween pumpkin.
That is awesome. I had a zucchini do well my first year of composting.
Veerly interesting, I was hoping for sweet taters for you!
Well we hoped but since we didn't plant slips I was pretty sure there weren't going to be many.
I cannot believe that a watermelon grew in your compost pile…lol.
It was a surprise. It was on the side of the second cell and really didn't have a lot of material. But still It did start growing sort of under cover.
