I love this song, but it is bitter sweet. Right after it came out, my daughter got engaged to a wonderful man. He had a rough life, his mom left when he was a little boy and later on he took care of his father who he lost to cancer and many other things. He committed suicide in 2006. I always felt this song was about my daughter and her love. He told me a was more of a mom to him than his real mom ever was. I loved him like a son, and cry everytime I hear this song. We miss him so much. ❤
