All that he said about Pastor Chris was good but people will see the title and think otherwise because they won't bother to listen to it. I'm saying this because of how some people are too quick to insinuate that there's some conflicts among men of God when there's none.

When I was there, we didn't speak in tongues much because of prayer points.
But when I I joined Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris said your prayer point comes from the tongues you speak as you pray the Holy Spirit drop things you should deal with. Our authority is the tongues we speak. Sinach Frank Edward, Ada, Eben, Joe praise, moses Bliss, testimony jaga, and many more are all berthed out of Christ Embassy.
So my dear, pray about it.

The Scripture is Godly but you've misapplied it. There's a difference between honor and what you're insinuating. You honor a man of God because of who he represents. A genuinely anointed man or woman of God ministers in the Name and Power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That's why we honor them - we don't worship them. The motivation behind honor is Love and Accurate Knowledge of the Scriptures.
Like Jesus I say, " Do what they teach from the scriptures and not what they do."
God's Word comes first.
What Apostle Suleiman is addressing is very needful in the body of Christ.

Paul corrected Peter in Love. Is there anywhere that it's written that Martha or Lazarus or the centurion soldier or even the Samaritan woman corrected any of the apostles? That was Paul a servant of the Most High God who's grounded and rooted in the wisdom and knowledge of God putting his fellow labourer in the vineyard aright. You can't be correcting a general from a place of ignorance thinking you're right. Even in God's Kingdom there's respect for elders. Even though Paul came late, he was still ranked highly among the apostles. Peter was the rock only because Christ chose Him to lead his flock, it was simply grace. But in labouring Paul laboured more than them all. Imagine a toddler who has not learnt to walk nor to talk correcting his father. LoL

I agree to an extent. To attack the personality of a man of God is WRONG! Even the scriptures condemn that. But to make corrections about an assertion that may have derailed from the scripture, is absolutely allowed! That he's a man of God does not mean he can't make mistakes. We know in part, and we prophesy in part.
The balance is, ATTACK THE MESSAGE, NOT THE MESSENGER. Don't leave wrong knowledge circulating just because it came from a powerful man of God. Anybody can make mistakes, including the man of God, and it's okay to correct the mistake, but not to the extent of insulting the man of God!

Exactly, lemme add that deal with the message but you don't have to attack the man, learn from David and Saul. Despite what Saul had done, David never laid his hands on him because he was God's anointed and David feared the Lord. Yes, these men are great Ministers of the Gospel however, they are men not God. There is possiblity of men falling from grace (May God hold us ) hence they are not immune to mistakes 1 Cor 10:12. You can only continue praying for them.

The scriptures (not these ones I shared) show us who corrects who. Everyone shouldn't correct everyone. There's order in the House: "Let all things be done decently and in order" (1 Corinthians 14:40).
He is not saying they can't be corrected but the one that God allows to correct who. Remember Moses sinned by marrying a foreign woman. But when Miriam and Aaron spoke against him, what did GOD do?

@@michaeladebayo4644people don't even read the Bible anymore they just blindly listen and follow the words of pastors who I consider to be nobody compared to the true apostles of Christ who were the perfect model to show us that your status matter less as long as your teachings do not sync with the scriptures .Did apostle Paul not criticized Peter the man that saw Jesus transfiguration, Peter walked on water alongside Jesus Himself, Christ gave Peter key as a foundation to the church by all indication we could say Peter was greater than apostle Paul if not more experienced than Paul yet Paul had the audacity to challenge his approach to the gospel.Peter also did not respond by boasting about how he got into the ministry before Paul.

That Someone has become an institution doesn't means he knows everything and doesn't mean he can't be corrected.
When it has to done with the gospel many things need to be corrected because many teaching that they have tought us before are wrong. Because of many pasters, many revelations with confusing teaching.
If Bishop Mike Okonkwo, Benny Hinm and many others can say it publicly to their congregation that many things they tought before are not correct thereby asking for forgiveness. With due respect Sir, let's come together and correct our selves.

Everyone can be corrected, but not everyone can correct everyone. Go ask Miriam who tried to correct Moses. It takes a Paul to correct a Peter, not a Timothy. Honoring those who are ahead of you is a biblical ingredient for growth in grace. It does not mean you accept or agree with all they say and do. If you disagree with them on an issue, simply teach the truth you think you know about it. No need to mention their name. None of the people who try to openly correct those fathers has done one tenth of what they have done with God. God lifts the humble. And these men themselves know they make mistakes and have never claimed otherwise. To reach the level they have reached, they have been more open to correction than 99% of us have. God will not support anyone throwing dishonor at men who have walked in such dimensions. Let's simply learn from what we think their mistakes are, and be faithful in delivering our supposedly better version of the message.
@@kgothatsomatsimela4158 The scriptures permit us to judge one another as Christians( 1 Corinthians 5:12). Paul said he had no business judging those outside rather he would do it with insiders. Can you share where the scriptures spell out who corrects who? How do you explain a 12-year-old boy arguing with the scribes? do you realize that he probably was going against very strong beliefs during that session?

Some years back kumuyi did not allow his members to own and watch television but today he himself preach via satalite and his members now own televisions and even use smart phones that are more sophisticated than the televisions he condemned years ago. Didn't Paul correct Peter for hypocrisy? I'm sure we can all agree Peter was certainly his senior having walked with Jesus in the flesh and one of His very disciples. Is everyone then absolved from correction because of position or longevity? Isn't this the same lack of accountability that is a major problem to churches today irrespective of denomination? I'm only 40 seconds in so I have no idea who he may be referring to or his justifications, but no one is above correction. Age just means there's a way and manner in which it is best done as detailed in 1 Timothy 5.

This is why error seats comfortably in the church and the truth of God is hardly prevailing and the enemies of our God mock us and Him boldly in the open - hero worship.
Making people see their mistake isn't out of place as long as it is done politely.
If this preacher were on earth in the days of the Lord Jesus in the flesh, or in the day of Apostle Paul he would have condemned them.
Everyone can be corrected, but not everyone can correct everyone. Go ask Miriam who tried to correct Moses. It takes a Paul to correct a Peter, not a Timothy. Honoring those who are ahead of you is a biblical ingredient for growth in grace. It does not mean you accept or agree with all they say and do. If you disagree with them on an issue, simply teach the truth you think you know about it. No need to mention their name. None of the people who try to openly correct those fathers has done one tenth of what they have done with God. God lifts the humble. And these men themselves know they make mistakes and have never claimed otherwise. To reach the level they have reached, they have been more open to correction than 99% of us have. God will not support anyone throwing dishonor at men who have walked in such dimensions. Let's simply learn from what we think their mistakes are, and be faithful in delivering our supposedly better version of the message.
@@yvanamatagana your view is quite honourable. You are not saying it's out of place altogether to address error like the preacher in this particular video is claiming but to be nonconfrontational. The position of the preacher in this video is disservice to the preservation of the truth of our God, particularly in these times of much deception.
@@zionarise7165 Thanks for getting my point, but I don't think your conclusion about the position of the preacher is fair. He didn't in any way insinuate that truth should not be upheld above human personalities. I have no connection with his ministry but one thing I think I know about him is that he believes in honouring the Word of God more than anything and anybody. In the clip he simply frowns at a behaviour that is clearly wrong: presuming to "correct" people who are far bigger, far more fruitful for the kingdom, and in many cases far more faithful than us, just because we think they are wrong about a thing. I don't think he is altogether against addressing faulty teachings. He is just against the disrespect, the pride and the presumptuousness that have become so rampant. Anyway, may we be instruments of truth and sanity among God's people, and let us approach the errors of others with profound humility.

@@zionarise7165 Well, meekness sometimes looks naive to those looking from outside. I've been a believer for 24 years and a Bible teacher for 15, plus a keen observer of church issues. I can't be right about everything, but trust me my eyes can see clearly and I generally know what I talk about. I will also allow myself to be convinced when someone brings strong biblical arguments. Finally, my agreeing with the statement of the video doesn't mean I agree with every single word spoken in it. But I wonder if all those picking on every single detail will themselves have a flawless speech and delivery of the gospel if we watch their own sermons online too. We can only scrutinize these ones because we see them. This generation is too proud and presumptuous, unaccommodating of anybody's imperfections except their own. The Lord help us all.
