Great video. I've been suggesting you institute a buffer for a couple of years now and how it's changed my life and TBM is who told me about it years ago. Glad you're going to add that change. I think you'll love it. A cushion is added peace of mind in the immediate present. Emergency Funds are that for the future unknown. Love my buffer. Kept it going with over $1K month over month for 2 years now. Hope the 100 number challenge works out for you the way you want it to. Very cool that you're ahead on all of your utilities. 🙂 Have a great rest of the week.
I have savings with Ally. Any possible expense has a sinking fund, which grows. My car fund, always has extra, if an unexpected expense comes up I just pull it from there. Each paycheck, all the funds get money.
I am excited to use my new budget book in 2025. It is wise to have a buffer. HOA and Pest Control might be better categorized under a sinking fund rather than a fixed expense since the actual expense is not monthly, but yearly and quarterly.
@ Hey Kay, I have the current workbook I’ve used all 2024 so i don’t want to waste any of it. I ordered the smaller size because the big can be a bit much sometimes.

Love the cows and Christmas trees!
I like how you zoom in ❤❤❤. Great for my old eyes thanks. Tell Carol Ann I sure miss her videos.
Love your videos. My recommendation would change the buffer to a misc/unbudgeted and use a buffer for your checking acct for role over month to month.
That's awesome you pay a MORTGAGE now! So proud of you!

Great breakdown on your money/outgoing bills. Is your emergency fund still intact?

Hey Lisa.... so nice to see yet another video.
Good morning! ☀️
As someone with an hoa I would suggest at least $5 a month because they typically increase every year.

We contribute monthly into a joint account.
Good morning. Isn’t the buffer for if a bill comes unexpectedly early or high? Your example sounds more like a ‘miscellaneous’ category.
Good morning Lisa!

Good Morning, Lisa! I can’t wait to start my new budget workbook.
I’m loving the smaller size!
Hi Gina, I couldn’t wait. I started using mine with December ,and also ordered these same stickers Lisa has. I write big so I got the large size. 😊😊

Hi Lisa. Regina here. Just an observation. Why not leave out the $ since we know the numbers are money. It would make fora less cluttered look. 😊
