Hello, I was wondering if this would work for women who has traction alopecia?
I am suffering from years or wig wearing which damaged my front hair line and after a year of being wig free and trying topicals I don't see vans results. Thank you and stay absolutely beautiful❤️
Hi April! So sorry to hear about your traction alopecia! Yes. I have used the laser for traction alopecia. But before you make that investment, I want you to google 'derma roller for hair loss' -- this is a little tool you can use that will also help with growth and its much cheaper than the laser. You would use the roller then apply whatever topical products you have. Now keep in mind, traction alopecia is temporary but can become permanent. If the hair follicle is completely closed (or has miniaturized) and there is no more blood supply, then hair won't grow (usually scalp skin in that looks very shiny or slick). By no means am I trying to discourage you, but wanted to share. With TA, sometimes you recover all hair, sometimes partial hair.

When it comes to hair lost I know in some cases the truth can be a hard pill to swallow and I wish I had listened when I was warned about the wigs around my hair line before this all took place.
So thank you so much for your professional advice.
When I look at the area I can't tell the difference between my skin being shiny or if that shine is actually the part of the hair lost. but, next time I wash I'll inspect before adding products.
Either way I'm going to purchase the tool you have recommended if it doesn't work at least I didn't waist over $400.

Hey Tova! Yes it’s does! I’ve used it on clients with CCCA - it works where they are still active hair follicles.

Hi Janet! Yes you can. It wasn't necessarily designed for inflammatory types of hair loss but many of my clients, have used it.
Also, make sure you are treating CCCA holistically as well. Have you joined my waitlist for the Health and Hair program I'm launching this spring?
@@KarenofCurlHouse Currently my dermatologist has me on a topical mixture with tretinoin, Minoxidil and Triamcinolone mixed with vitamin E so I don't want to try too many things at once.
