U should get a shorty battery and put it up front also I got some treal brass hub extensions keeps it from tipping skittle better and brass upfront for the portals
Gregory Guza I run protek servos on all my electric cars with no problems without a BEC or glitch buster. The servos that need an external BEC or glitch busters are the ones that draw a high amount of amps. The old Savox servos were known for drawing a lot of amps.
@@shoelessjoe2080 to get full potential out of this specific servo you will definitely need more power. You could either install a BEC or a different ESC with a built in BEC like the hobbywing 1080 ESC. The way he installed it he's not getting the full potential from the servo because the stock electronics do not have enough power.
I came here for the comments. I am still fairly new in crawling and have put several servos in and had to purchase an BEC for 3 of my rigs. When I watched you plug directly in I was like what?? Mostly because I am new and want to learn. So sounds like you probably would be better off with a BEC. I wonder what the factory trx output voltage is to the factory servo? I can't seem to find that info.

Nice work space bro.
Will those high power servos need a glitch buster or a more powerful BEC to use with the stock power system?

So you don't need a bec with this servo???
